J is 10 months old today! Holy cow. I'm having trouble believing it. He slept well last night but he's been a little grumpy today. Not sure if it's teeth or his eczema.

king26 Yay to ten months! I can't believe our babies are getting so old. I bought a water table for the boys thinking they'd have hours of fun, but baby h was more interested in pushing it around the living room before I filled it with water. He can take little steps holding on the things, but the top part of his body always gets ahead of the bottom. Does anyone still have postpartum hair loss? I stopped pumping about a month ago and my hair has been falling out like crazy!! I hope it stops soon. Also, anyone still have weird cycles? Mine were 40 days long while nursing/pumping, and this month and I haven't gotten my cycle this month after stopping pumping. It's annoying.

Hi! D. was 1mo on Saturday as well... i can't believe our babies are almost a year already- heck some early birds already turned 1!? Sleep is all over there place here as well. She slept like a charm while at my mum's early May and this continued for a lil while but the past weeks and especially the past week it has been ridiculous with hourly wake ups.. she is superhappy during the day so honestly not a clue!? I have given up some nights and took her in bed with me and she would sleep so much better and so do I. Maybe it is the open boob bar lol? though she drinks then turns her back to me and sleeps on and will occasionally flip over for some sips but i hardly wake up then. Beats sitting up in the dark every hour though i have fallen asleep in the chair with her on multiple occasions as well lol. One more week of work for mh and then he is off for 3 weeks. We have one long weekend away planned together with my sister and kids and my mum. Looking forward to that though also a little nervous as it will be our first trip away with D. We get access to the swimming pools of a wellness nearby as well and I hope to go swimming every day! We were also thinking of going somewhere the 3 of us but cancelled those plans as planning everything was stressing me out so bad it was making my ppd worse. So i suggested half seriously half jokingly we could also drop a staycation instead? And mh said sure why not- so that was settled lol send a felt instantly relieved. In a way i am sad and pissed at myself cause aargh i soooo was looking forward to going away... but also not. And really i just feel relieved i could stop worrying about everything i was worrying about. We will do day trips instead Ahh well i will stop spamming you with a wall of text...

king26, poor J! I hope he stops being a grumpy pants. N is frumpy even after a good nap thinkchocolate05, my friend that we visited din May has a water table and I am obsessed with it b/c N was obsessed with it. But we don't have our own yard to really have one, so I think there's no point for us. Sorry kid! My hair loss has settled down a bit, I think. I have an IUD so my periods just wacky anyway. sorry - I hope your stuff works itself out soon! muscari, 3 weeks! That's so nice Honestly, staycation is the way to go! We had a long weekend this weekend and decided not to go away far but went to a hotel like 40min away and it was still stressful with packing for jut two nights. we really wanted to have access to a pool, otherwise we would have done a staycation. I hope you have an awesome trip with your fam! That sounds so nice!! N is so grumpy today, too. he won't stop whining or crying unless he is being held by me and occasionally by DH. Im so over it. He slept decent this weekend, but he still ended up in our bed both nights b/c I was too tired to keep trying to put him down in his pnp. hopefully tonight will be better b/c I am wiped out. But it wasn't that bad because we had a king in the hotel and there was SO much more space than our queen. I keep grumbling about how we should have bought a king instead of a queen last summer and Ben is like NO! he doesn't get to sleep with us often! Ok buddy.. but then he was like "IT was so nice to have Noah sleeping with us and waking up by cuddling with him..." QUESTION!! What brand of sandals do you guys have for your baby? We've been using Robeez shoes and we love them, but we got a new pair of sandals in the next size up less than three weeks ago and he already put a hole through the front of them! I can't buy new sandals every 3 weeks, (even on sale!) What other brands do you guys use?

addymac we are going away next weekend and I worry about j sleeping in the pnp at the hotel. He rarely lays with us anymore but we got a king at hotel for this reason. I hope he is less grumpy tomorrow.

It's better for walking development.

nutmeg we try to go to the playground and out and about a lot so I need shoes/sandals for when we’re walking outside on the mulch or concrete. I agree, I don’t put him in shoes unless we are leaving the house.

addymac I love pediped, but baby h only has one pair bc they are PRICEY. They haven't shown any signs of wear and are leather so the bottom is nice and flexible for their developing feet. They are also really cute. I just looked at the page and they are having their semi annual sale!! (So you can spend $30 on tiny baby shoes instead of $40,lol). These are the ones baby H has: www.pediped.com/Products/Originals-br-Brody-BrownTan__2288.aspx I didn't put ds1 in shoes at this age but baby h just wants to pull up on everything no matter where we are. nutmeg That's so exciting. I love the cleaning the plate picture.

I’m terrible and never put A in shoes or sandals. If we are out, it’s socks... or nothing. I hope I’m not setting myself up for failure and he never wants to wear them when it’s time. 🙈 My hair is still falling out, but not at the rate it was before. There’s also hair growing back too, so it’s a mess all around. I still have not gotten my pp period. Definitely not looking forward to it! addymac, y’all should have a king bed, just cause they are the best! I could not go back to a queen. I love my space whilst sleeping.

We secured our cake for As 1st bday yesterday. I’ve never gotten a specialty cake before and even just our 8inch is costing almost $100. Crazy, I’m only doing this for his 1st bday.

E slept through 5hr night for the first time ever last night!
For shoes: we have a pair of robeez and a pair from carters with a little more sole to it. She hasn't worn either. The robeez are 0-6 month and still huge. She's got tiny feet.

I actually always put her in shoes when we are out and about but not at home. Mostly robeez and a couple casual carter sandals. She is also in 0-6 month robeez and 3-6 month carter shoes. Tiny toes here too 😛

He probably won't wear them anyhow but still...hes all feet I actually always put her in shoes when we are out and about but not at home. Mostly robeez and a couple casual carter sandals. Ah sometimes I have to laugh at people that don't have kids. I'm meeting my friends an hour away and I'm taking J. I told them that I'd have to meet around 10 or 10:30 so he can sleep in the car on the way there and then leave between 2 and 2:30 so he can sleep on the way home. My one friend has 3 kids and is like sounds good! The other friend is like can't we meet at like 11:30? Can't he just sleep in his carseat during lunch? I seriously LOL'd. I'm like yeah right...in the middle of the restaurant....at 10 months old...in the middle of his 2 nap times.....at noon....sure he'll just sleep in his car seat. Man, people without kids are clueless sometimes.

Even when I didn't have kids, I never questioned a parent's plan or was like can't s/he just .... insert idea here.... because I figured they had a plan and schedule and who the hell was I to question or fuck with it lol. Even back then it made me roll my eyes when my mom would make snippy comments about how my Bro and SIL dealt with my nephews nap/bedtimes, and now I wouldn't be able to just roll my eyes/hold back comments. Thank god my mom thinks the sun shines out of N's ass LOL

addymac yeah my parents have said things about my cousins kids and how even if people are over they don't disturb their naps. I didn't know so I never said anything but I'm the same way. I'm like he's tired, it's naptime or no I'm not waking him up early from nap or he will be a bear. I think it's different because my other cousin has no schedule for her baby and my parents have her 2 days a week.

Question about morning wake ups:
Do you guys let your LO(s) wake up on their own or so you wake them up at a specific time each day?
