Hi all! My new laptop arrives today. I ordered it yesterday, covertly paid the extra $13 for rush shipping, and now have to act surprised that Costco is so efficient.
Sewing projects for my mother and picking up season passes to the splash pad/recreation complex. Oh, and fixing dinner. Open to suggestions on that one. Not pizza.

B slept til 8:15 😳 He’s been eating everything in sight lately so I’m thinking growth spurt.
Warm and sunny here today so hopefully the kids can swim this afternoon.

ladystrat we discovered a new marinade recently that has changed my life...it’s Island Teriyaki by Soy Vay. It has some ginger, garlic and pineapple flavors. We used it for steak kabobs over the weekend, pork tenderloin a couple weeks back, and tonight we’re doing grilled teriyaki chicken sandwiches (with watermelon, salad, and spicy corn casserole). I’m kind of obsessed. Not sure if that helps you 😂

Morning ladies!
We have a cleaning company coming by this morning for our first cleaning, then to give us a quote on what it would cost to come out monthly vs every other week. I'm nervous. I tried to pick everything up this morning, but know there is still crap sitting around. Plus I also feel like I've kind of failed by not being able to keep up with everything. But excited to see how nice it looks!
They're also installing our storm doors today, so I'll work from home during that time. I'm hoping it doesn't take long because I'm really busy today.

We're having spaghetti because mh gets it at the store every time he goes shopping. I'm over it, but he keeps buying it. Pasta, red sauce, mushrooms, pasta, red sauce, mushrooms.  |

Morning. I just finished breakfast and will be getting ready shortly to take the girls to my MIL. She’s watching them for a couple hours while I work. I think they might go down to a children’s play at a park. Last night was super boring at work so I hope there is something to do today. I also discovered last night that there is a plant I want on clearance for $5. It’s not looking super great (hence why it’s on clearance) but I’m pretty sure I can nurse it back to health. Nothing planned for this afternoon, except going to aldi because I never ended up going yesterday. Then this evening I agreed to work for someone at the hospital from 6:30-9:30.

Oh, I’m also super annoyed. I watched the bachelorette after I got home from work last night and they interrupted the show for stupid trump/ North Korea thing and it didn’t record the rose ceremony. Now I have to figure out how I can watch that.

Oh, I’m also super annoyed. I watched the bachelorette after I got home from work last night and they interrupted the show for stupid trump/ North Korea thing and it didn’t record the rose ceremony. Now I have to figure out how I can watch that. I don't watch the show, but I heard on the radio this morning that they didn't end up doing a rose ceremony last night. Not sure how accurate that is though. |

Good morning. I’m trying to get stuff done today. I was going to hire someone to clean our new house before we get there but MH said his brother and her wife want to do it for extra $. And yesterday he told me that they already did it..... but I haven’t turned the water on yet (I forgot) So I’m finding that SUPER suspicious. I think they are lying. 🙄🙄🙄

Morning! Today was E's due date. She slept pretty well. LO is going with my parents to the science museum. My dad has been wanting to go ever since the space shuttle was put in there. I don't know whose more excited, LO or my dad.
I'm going to do more laundry today and just take it easy with E.

@sands, that sounds shady. Maybe they went in and vacuumed and sprayed down the counters but definitely need water to do more than that

tgrimes vino My husband called them and asked them. I don’t know what he said to them but they said they used the neighbors water. Which I think is weird. But whatever. MH probably said something to make it really awkward for me... we’ve had issues with his brother in the past being sketchy. I like him... but they take advantage of MH.

Morning! I’m waiting at the chiropractor. I’ve been having constant headaches again so hoping for relief. I tried sleeping differently last night and I think it helped a bit.

I had a chat with my boss last night about my coworker. I felt terrible about doing it but it was needed. She has been slacking so much lately. He was not surprised I brought it up and has had his own concerns with her too. So this morning he was asking her all sorts of questions in his office and I heard her lie to him about something. And then she lied to me too. So now I’m not feeling so bad. She’s a terrible employee.
