OMG klong11 That's the best gif ever! I'm laughing and keep going back to watch it again. Makes me wonder what is going on at my house with the cleaning company in there! slenle I agree with tgrimes. She is paid to do her job, but isn't doing it. Does she have issues going on outside of work that are making her do a shitty job? Regardless, she needs to keep her personal life outside of work and get the job done. I mean, I shouldn't be on here while I'm at work, but I know I'm going to get my job done, or at least enough done for the day, that I can still check in and people aren't going to question if I'm even working. At least, I hope!

Oh, I’m also super annoyed. I watched the bachelorette after I got home from work last night and they interrupted the show for stupid trump/ North Korea thing and it didn’t record the rose ceremony. Now I have to figure out how I can watch that. That asshole ruins everything.

Morning! At breakfast with H and Bea. We got to camp on time today, so all is right in the world 😉
Miss Bea did a few long stretches last night, so I feel like a new woman. I gave her her first home bath last night, which I think made her nice and sleepy. I use Mustela wash and lotion with all my newborns and it just has that lovely, cozy clean baby smell. The best.

wedding OMG to the staple. Poor guy! My oldest son was always getting those types of injuries that required stitches, etc. and it is almost as traumatic for mom. Hope he recovers quickly! slenle Sounds like that employee had a CTJ coming. sands42 So weird. I hope they did actually clean it, but like you, I would probably assume they did not. Are you getting excited though?

wedding I hope C is feeling much better today. Poor little dude. slenle good for you for speaking up. I'm drowning in reports to do so I need to get some of those tackled today. (Booooooring.) We got new computers a few months ago at work for the first time in 5 years. It was a nightmare at first with the transition and lost productivity until all the kinks were worked out and everything was switched over. Now we were told we are getting new new computers. Why? Who knows. Probably have extra money in the budget and instead of putting it towards something useful they are getting something we don't need. And there will be more down days where I can't get anything done. Way to go gov't.

mwhip the best feeling in the world is coming home to a clean house on cleaning lady day when you didn’t have to lift a finger (other than the pre cleaning 😉). You can relax tonight without thinking about needing to clean!

Cadence has jumped head first into the "why" phase. I honestly feel like she knows it's annoying and is doing it for the sheer pleasure of annoying us, not because she actually wants to know things. Our kids really are twins. "Why did ET's ship leave? Why did he come to Earth? Do you think he lives on Jupiter? Why does he like drinking beer? How old is Elliot? Why does he ride a bike with only two wheels? Why does he have so many stuffed animals? Why does he help the frogs?" Answer these questions, then he starts all over.

I never watched Baywatch the TV show, but if you want something funny and mindless to watch Baywatch the movie is great. It's on Prime and Hulu. I was pleasantly surprised. It makes fun of itself with its cheesiness.

P is on her third night of sleeping through. Of course that can only mean I had trouble getting to bed and woke up early. But it's major progress and I keep reminding myself not to get used to it since these things are never linear.
My brother will be here today to upgrade my electrical, and the city is coming to give initial inspection of the structural work for the room addition. Window guy should be here any minute.
Our internet is still out, and hopefully my brother will have some ideas about that. If not, I'll have to call someone else to investigate.
Last night I turned on our AC and something smelled like it was burning.
Remember that 80's movie, "Money Pit?"
It's starting to look very familiar.

I’m looking for some new good movies to watch but don’t know if he’d be ready. I was also thinking about the original Charlie and the chocolate factory movie (gene wilder). Has anyone watched that with their n 13 kids?

@klongoria that gif is on point. Excellent job! sands42 I highly doubt they did anything substantial if at all. Make sure your H doesn't pay them until after you inspect. @slene you did the right thing! Trust me, keeping quiet only makes it worse. cagoldi you are always welcome to stay here if you need AC, internet, or just some time away from construction zone.

Remember that mommastrong program I talked about awhile back for diastasis recti? I finally did the 3 day program. (I've been doing some other exercises for the past 5 months that I got from a physical therapist and wasn't noticing much improvement.)
It actually works! I'm shocked that after 3 days I could tell this big of a difference. I haven't checked out the rest of her programs yet but I'm seriously in awe that these 5 simple exercises could make this big of an impact.
Mind blown.

Movies with real people don't seem to keep her interest as long as animated ones. Although she did like Gremlins.....

wineallthetime I know they’ve been to the house once for sure but that’s it. 🤷🏼♀️ I’ll probably just end up recleanibg everything to be sure. dapostrophe I am SO excited! Mostly just to get the whole move part over with though. I’m not good at being organized with this stuff so it’s been like constant anxiety thinking about it all the time. Once we get down there and I unpack I’m not going to know what to do with myself. MH will be home around July 10th at least. jewels Yes! All my kids love both Willy Wonka movies- new and old. Every my April ‘16er.

I'm going to introduce them to The Princess Bride soon. We just watched The New Karate Kid (Hilary Swank so new = 90s) and they enjoyed it so we're going back to watch the original. We haven't watch Charlie and the Chocolate Factory yet but it's on the list and I think they'd love it. They like the original Parent Trap and Swiss Family Robinson too. The other day I was scrolling through Hulu looking for a movie and Pennywise from the original It showed up huge on the screen. Both the girls exclaimed "I want to watch that." I told them they were way too young and would have nightmares. Madison was trying to compromise to watch it when she's 8.

LO has watched the live action Grinch thanks to a random backup nanny.
We watched Goonies but was a mistake. Totally forgot about all the swearing.
We watched Mary Poppins but he wasn't overly interested.
I want to watch more with him but he is repeating a lot right now (what the (then stops)) is currently his new phrase. I don't want to risk him repeating something at his Christian school and causing problems.

Has anyone watched that with their n 13 kids? He is very sensitive, so things don't really scare him as much as they make him too sad. Typically with any new movie (Secret Life of Pets, Frozen, Lion King) it takes several times of trying to watch before he gets all the way through. I think the first time we tried he got too upset in the opening scene and made us turn it off after ET was left behind. The second time, he made us turn it off when they found him by the river, the third time, when the NASA people busted into the house, and thensat through its entirety on the fourth try.

But the actual exercise part was easy. The video itself was 12 min, but she talks a lot about positions and what to not do, etc. So it was maybe 6-8 min of actual exercises. I know some of her other programs are just 15 min long.
