Omfg. This baby is so damn grumpy tonight. GTFTS child. Right there with you tonight!! Normally she sleeps like a champ so I'm irrationally annoyed that she isn't sleeping. She did take an hour and a half nap in her crib this afternoon so I guess that's something?

DD1 ran into our room after having a bad dream. She won’t go back to her room. It will be a long night here.

We had a rough night too. And someone was setting off fireworks around midnight which woke the toddler. Ugh.

Lots of poor sleepers tonight! fancynewbeesly big kid awake with bad dreams here too It is so hard. And DD when she has a bad dream she refuses to go back into her room. Actually last night was the first time she TOLD us what the bad dream was about. Usually she is too scared to even talk about it.

Little kids should be nightmare exempt.

We got the auto Rock and play yesterday and DS's longest stretch was about 1.5 hours longer than usual, so I'll call that a win! However, he is waking like every hour or so from like 4am on and I don't know how to stop that. Ideas?

We got the woombie swaddle Friday and only had one wake up that night. Last night was not as good. FX everyone has a quiet night!

He is in a Halo swaddle, but I think with the movement of the Rock and play, it's allowing him to get his hands up a little, but not all the way and I think it pisses him off, which may lead to some of the wake ups. I might try just a sleep sack tonight.

Terrible night last night over here as well. Hoping for a better night tonight. We currently have him in the dock a tot with us in bed for the first stretch and the RnP for the second.
Last night there weren’t any real stretches and he slept a couple hours on my chest because I was desperate.

F conked out after fireworks so I'm hoping he sleeps for a little bit before he wakes up for a feeding again. I had to resort to giving him a little bit of formula because he was being super fussy and spat out my boob every time I tried to give it to him, and I didn't have any pumped and ready for him.

DD eats all the time. It is so exhausting. I have contemplated formula before bed just for longer stretches of sleep. I am so so tired. But at the same time I love nursing her too. I love the close cuddling. But she cluster feeds all the time. And then will down a bottle of pumped milk

DH tried to feel me up MOTN. I was all nope and swatted him away. Please do not interrupt my already broken sleep. DH tries this every couple of days. Hell no.

TIL it’s possible to fall asleep while pumping. Who knew? Have done. I keep telling DH that somebody needs to invent a pump that will work while you lay down. It'd be the best thing ever to be able to sleep and pump.

Duriothe day did will nap in her swing but at night she just wants to sleep in our arms. It is so exhausting. We have a rock n play and a bassinet in our room but she isn’t a fan.

Had a better night last night. I pumped 3 oz and gave that to F at 2 and he slept through until 6:30 snuggled between me and the dog lol

W was like that for a few weeks and I was worried it would never pass but it’s much better now (8 weeks tomorrow).

Eventually we will have to supplement with formula because there is no way I can pump and freeze what she eats when DD is in the hospital. And DD2 will be home with DH. So I would rather not supplement now because I know we will eventually if that makes sense.

With DD, I solely breastfed, with these guys I have to supplement 3 bottles of formula a day and I have to say, it makes things easier.

Oh yes that’s so like what happened with W. I thought I’d need to supplement or that she had reflux because she was so unsettled. Very upsetting. She’d just keep on eating all day around the clock until she was sick then start again! Bad news - she didn’t improve til about 6 weeks. Good news - now she’s hardly spitting up and feeds well (bigger amounts in one go then has a break!) then sleeps pretty darned well. I feel like it just took some time for her gut to mature a bit? I hope you’re able to get some relief soon x
