I'm definitely over the summer already. Three days of 90+ temps is enough. We are going to our cabin this weekend (no a/c) and luckily it is supposed to be in the 70's there! Lows of 55 at night which should be awesome actually! Only bad part is 90% chance of rain on Saturday, so we'll have to keep our toddler occupied inside the tiny cabin all day.

I’m jealous hayleysmith. The 70s sounds amazing! My body is finally allowing me to drink caffeine without getting sick so I’ve had Starbucks two days in a row to celebrate. I also cleaned and purged the entire house yesterday and today. Our cleaning company quit on us two weeks ago so I’m trying to deep clean while we look for a new company and I have some energy from the coffee.

I have reached the I don't feel pregnant stage. I feel some movement/bubbles/flutters occasionally, nothing consistent so I'm often like "hello, you in there?" Saaaaaame. I’ve had the occasional nudge. Otherwise it’s very... you in there? Hahaha. Perfect way to put it.

This past weekend was super hot and humid here, and I was outside for a few hours on Sat for my company’s summer picnic. I got what I think was a heat rash. My face and neck were super itchy and irritated for the rest of the weekend. I’m just feeling better as of this afternoon. It was bizarre!

Uhg. Today sucks. It's supposed to be almost 90 here, and I just want to go to the pool. Instead, I'm in my office, trying not to fry (and it's only 10:30am). 9 more days. Just 9 more days of work and then I get to be a SAHM with my son. Why do the last days always go SO SLOW...

Guys. I have returned so many pairs of maternity jeans. They all suck. Finally found a pair I like but I ordered the wrong size. I’m reordering sooo hopefully I’ll have a pair that works sometime before I give birth.
Eff pants.

I have developed a pregnancy allergy(ies) it seems. I think it's a birch pollen allergy presenting with a reaction to stone fruit. Anytime I have peaches, necterines, cherries my tongue hurts and swells a bit. I am DISTRAUGHT

I went to Macy's over the weekend to see if they had any jeans or pants and they have barely any selection and of course absolutely nothing fit. Of course, there's no option anywhere for plus-size maternity clothes in a store unless I want to trek an hour to the nearest Destination Maternity store. I hate buying pants online, but I ordered a damn pair from Destination Maternity that are hopefully in my size and going to pray they fit. If not, I guess I'm just going to wear dresses till this kid pops out.

Last night, baby was having a dance party in my belly while I was watching TV and MH got to see my belly jiggle and felt some movement from the outside! So crazy to go from feeling basically nothing a week ago to already feeling him on the outside.

I’m currently stuck in the food baby stage. So, current clothes fit, but the pants get tight by the end of the day. I have a ton of hand-me-down maternity clothes, but... body ain’t ready for them. I don’t like the in between stage. I undid my belt and buttons on the way home from work yesterday and prayed I didn’t get pulled over. “Officer, I’m not weird. I’m pregnant, even if you can’t tell, and my pants were cutting off my circulation.”

I like them because they have a “waist” with belt loops, and a faux fly/button. They run small, though! Or at least, smaller than the brands I usually shop. I doubt they will be stretchy enough for the very end, but right now all of my maternity jeans are slipping down because the bands are meant more for a 3rd tri belly and there’s no waist to the jeans at all. I think these H&M ones might be good up until the last month or two.

Plus whatever to the pants thing. The in between stage sucks as well. That is where I am at. I have been using the belly band thing and keeping my pants unbuttoned because I cannot deal with them being buttoned. Dresses are definitely the best bet these days!

These are the only style pants/shorts I can handle while pregnant. They’re pretty hard to find though and they don’t hold up that well. It gets HOT here and the over the belly panel is suffocating.

Thanks charlotte I’m going to see if I can find those. Dr. Cox the demi band or whatever they are called are exactly what I’m looking for. I have had zero luck finding any.

I took a personal day today and have had the house to myself, and it is the BEST decision I've made in a while! I took a nap, caught up some laundry, and purged/organized a bunch of DS' toys, including putting up new shelves in his playroom. Now I'm just already dreading what will happen to my house in November when there's TWO kids worth of toys (and, also when I pick up DS later and he manages to get every toy everywhere in five minutes flat). But for now, I'll enjoy a couple more hours of quiet and clean house!

I have a pair like this from the Gap from 4 years ago and they’re the only jeans that are working for me right now. I tried to find more but discovered that they’re not making tall/long sizes in maternity jeans anymore. I’m 6’ tall so... i need them to be long. Why is it so hard to find decent maternity jeans?

Our Pamorama results finally came back today after almost 2.5 weeks! We are having our 3rd boy! I am super surprised since this pregnancy has so far been completely opposite from all my others!
We are so stumped for names. I think I may just print off the Social Security top 500/1000 and just start crossing off the ones we absolutely hate to start narrowing it down.

I ordered a pair with this top band from old navy a few weeks ago, the only one they had like this. I also have a couple from Motherhood from when I was pregnant with ds1. They are so much more practical for early in pregnancy and for the summer! Who wants to add in another layer when you're hot and pregnant?

Ugh, crawling out of the hole I have been in this week. DS2 was home with a stomach bug for the past 3 days. Then I got it and now I am recovering but still sick. DS2 is back at daycare today and I am seriously considering taking off work for the rest of the day.

Ugh, I am having the worst tailbone pain at work lately. I have a desk job but do try to get up and walk around as much as I can. But I'm finding that my tailbone is aching from just sitting for a short period of time. I guess I'm going to have to get some extra cushion for my chair or something. I've never had any sort of tailbone pain before with my other pregnancies but google tells me this is another lovely hormone side effect
