I'm going to try some of that Sam '76 when we're in Boston later this month. I was surprised by how much I liked the '76. It was a solid lager.

MH's favorite beer is Reuben's. It's local to Seattle, but I feel like they might distribute to other places? I know we can get it at Costco, so IDK.
I love any wheat ale, especially with fruit. I had a raspberry one this past weekend at La Conner Brewery and it was really good!
We're going down to Portland at the end of June and I can't wait to hit some breweries. Definitely looking forward to Base Camp and Ex Novo, among many others.

I'm loving the Granville Island Summer Ale. It's local. It goes perfectly with all my summer favourites like BBQ, fresh salads, fruits, etc. I had this when we were in Vancouver a couple summers ago and it was really good!

Smokey beer lovers, I recently has Smoky Oak ale from the Ninkasi Brewery (French). It was like full in camp fire.

If you like rich beers with coffee and chocolate flavors, the Kona Brown Ale is spot on. It has a hint of coconuts and is a great beer for cool spring nights. If you like coffee in beers Allagash’s James Bean is so so good. Bourbon barrel aged ale w/ cold brewed coffee.

I need to branch out more. I will add trying a sour to my list. My go to is Firestone Walker 805 for my patio beers. The Blue Moon Mango Wheat is pretty good as well as Abita Purple Haze if you like fruity beers.

thatgolfb they're both local MN. You'll have to come here. I will tell H we are taking a beer field trip. I've been telling MH forever now that I want to go on a brewery road trip across America.

Smokey beer lovers, I recently has Smoky Oak ale from the Ninkasi Brewery (French). It was like full in camp fire. There is a Ninkasi brewery in Eugene, OR that makes some good beers. I like their Tricerahops. Haven’t tried smoky beers yet, not sure they’d be up my alley.

Another great recent find: Drop Kick Me Jesus from the Tempest brewing company (Scottish). It’s a sour pale ale with hints of mango and orange.

OH, Top Cutter and Bottom Cutter IPA's from Bale Breaker get two thumbs up from MH (I'm not an IPA gal). They're in Yakima, WA.

I'll have to look into that. it sounds wonderful.

I'm leaving work early so I can hit up the beer emporium across the street. It will be hard not to buy all the things now.

I'm not a huge beer drinker but in the summer i love a grapefruit Radler. There's a local brewery (Parallel 49) that makes a great one.

Forgive me if this has been mentioned already, but I'm a huge fan of imperial stouts, and recently discovered Samoa This by Southern Tier. Holy shit this stuff is amazing. Samoa cookie + stout with high alcohol content. It almost makes up for the fact that I couldn't find my favorite imperial anywhere this year (Southern Tier Creme Brulee).
