tallb Oh, that is sad, and agreed, a crappy situation. Would the airline credit you (as opposed to a refund?) If not, I'd say go ahead and go. I'm sure your friend will be very disappointed but I doubt she'd want you to be out the money. Unfortunately, shit happens sometimes :/ eta: Is she local? Maybe y'all can do something fun and closer to home sometime soon, or arrange to get to the wedding a day or so early for a girls' day?

Thanks for all the suggestions, I tried everything and the clog is finally unclogged. I’m happy my clog is going to give lots of you some new experiences. Half my flight is Southwest but the other is American, so even if I get credits it's unlikely I'd fly both within the year. She just moved to Idaho, so not local😞. Wedding is in Detroit in September and we are flying in the day of since it's a Friday wedding. Ughh. What a mess. |

tallb that stinks but I don’t blame you for going. My friend and I once met 2 guys in Aruba (back in our single days) who were there because their friend was getting married but called it off and they decided to go anyway.

Vent: C and I are fighting so I'm sleeping in the recliner tonight. He's being insensitive towards me and moody. I'm crying right now. Mostly due to hormones but whatever.

Why won’t C take a binky?!?! 😭😭😭😭 Dude and X never really did. P is all about it though. She gets so pissed when it falls out. I'm not a fan. I like that it calms her down but I am putting that thing back in a zillion times a day. C and L never did either. A mostly just takes it when falling asleep. It's really annoying though because Lue has decided now she's obsessed with pacifiers. She steals it from him and will scream and tantrum for one if she sees one. She will then keep it in her mouth alllllll day if we let her. Girl, you're 2. No way you're starting on a paci now! |

I know, she wouldn't have been able to come regardless bc she had advanced dementia and lived in a nursing facility. My friend never knew her before she lived there, so pretty brutal situation. If anything she's at peace now. And this is my ffsc - I have never met him but lately she's been through so so much supporting him and I'm moving around following his jobs that I'm a bit annoyed that they scheduled the funeral for the one weekend to celebrate her when she passed 1.5 weeks before that. I'm clearly going to hell, but we already knew that. |

tallb your not a bad person for thinking that. We held off on my aunts funeral for a member of the family to not miss a friend's wedding she was in.
