Sadly I really need a new vibrator but my Prime account is linked with my mom's Kindle/Echo. I don't want any "based on your recent purchases you might want ____" or shipping updates showing up on her devices. It's 2018, we're sending cars to outer space, but we don't have the option to click on "incognito mode" for certain purchases? Get it together retailers. |

Sent out an email to the office manager and the partners letting them know we need a new clasp on the toilet chain because the chain keeps coming off and the toilet won't flush if the chain isn't attached. I'm getting replied of "I flushed it fine yesterday", "I looked yesterday and the chain was on." The fact that I've had my hand in that tank 5+ times this weeks tells me you are all effing wrong. So then they start discussing, do we need a plumber, what parts will this involve, how much $$, blah blah blah. I then sent a picture of a toilet chain clasp, so they could all see that I"m talking about a thing that costs maybe a $1 and is easily replaceable. Seriously, people? Then one of the attorneys started saying I was pretty brave for sticking my hand in there. It's the tank, you idiot, that's where the CLEAN water is. I can't with these people any more. inthekitty talk to me more about sabbaticals.  Not going to lie, I was actually looking to see what our policy manual says about this just a few weeks ago. There is nothing in the manual about it. Surprise Surprise |

Fixed the damn toilet myself. Emailed them and said "I'm adding plumber to my resume". So, of course, the office manager came stomping down here to check my work. Bitch, get back to work, I'm handling things down here!

Groupon frequently offers vibrators. Just had lunch with 5 other woman. 2 of them have never owned a vibrator. I think I should send them each one and one for the lady who sent me the Jesus cd. Mine was a gift from my best male friend in college when I broke up with my college boyfriend. That was a long time ago. I should probably update.

Workload is reasonable lately. No major personality disordered flairs coming out of coworkers. I'm just tired of the same old crap day after day and then the evenings racing by and I'm back here again. I just need a total refresher...or to win the lottery...or something. I've got 5 more years until I get an extra week of vacation at work. That will be a moment to celebrate and the pinnacle of my career for me. |

I was able to find my doctor through the local research hospital. There aren't many around, but it looks like that TX Allergy group does have doctors that deal specifically with immunodeficiency and TX Children's will have some, too.

inthekitty that’s how I was feeling at work. I’m lucky to be on extended leave. I have never been better. From 9-3 I do as much or as little as I want. It’s amazing. I planned on taking some classes but I doubt I will. I go back and forth between I will go back to teaching, I will stay home forever, or I will go into administration. I though I would be bored at home but it’s hasn't happened yet.

klong11 I'm laughing but wow. My grandfather was chief investigator for the State Attorney's Office, so he worked with lawyers a lot. He always said, "There are a few good ones, but most of them don't have the sense to come in out of the rain." Sounds like your attorneys fall under the latter part of that statement.

I only use mine when H is gone. He seems 'intimidated' by them, so he isn't a big fan, although he knows I enjoy it. He would never admit to being intimidated, but whatever. I also never owned one until I was between marriages. I went to dinner on Valentines Day with one of my best friends (we were both single) and she was in the market for one. She convinced me to buy one and once you start, I think it would be weird to not have one available.  |
