dizzycooks - hugs! sorry you are so stressed out! crimsonandclover - you went to work ?!?!? Aye carumba - I would have called out sick fo sho after a night like that! kcrkcs, nellieoleson, - what gorgeous little ladies! I cannot keep it all together. I am sucking at work right now, but there's always next week, right? DH and I have a tradition for Mother's/Father's Day. One parent makes the other parent breakfast in bed. The one being celebrated can request whatever breakfast he/she wants. DH requested crepes. So that's it. Honestly, life is too crazy to do much more than that!! Also, he requested some time to take DD on a hike in the hiking carrier before she gets too big.

I signed up to be a courier for skip the dishes. I went to pick up my insulated bags and got lunch for H and I. It was disappointing. After we pick S up from school we're going to get some groceries.

You guys. I can't believe our babies are such big kids. I'm having total newborn nostalgia right now... though oh my god I do not want third kid at all. I wish I could just teleport back in time to snuggle my girls as a tiny babies for an hour or so, and then come back to real life.

PDQ Yeah, this is my baby. All 18lbs of her figured out how to get from one end to the other of a brand new park so she could go down the tallest spiral slide available, BY HERSELF. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

As for taking things off my plate, I decided as much as I love baking, I bought dessert for Sunday. One less thing to do tomorrow. Next week I'm l muting our excursions to things like the library or park and not more than one a day. I may allow myself a trip to the gym in addition to that, but only to work out AND enjoy an hour of peace and quiet to catch up on things like my book blog, recert classes and reading.

I see adorable newborns (and we'll have 2 in the family by November), and I'm like "ooooo! I want snuggles! Ok you can have it back now." Absolutely no yearnings for number 3. Although, S was about 2 when I started wanting a second, so that might change in a few months lol. Either way we are done.

In other news. Does my H think that I ENJOY nagging him. Tuesday he said to remind him and he'd call his benefits company on Wednesday. He was also going to register the car on Wednesday. He has done neither, despite having Wednesday - Saturday off this week. I'm so annoyed. The car thing, whatever, he's the one who's screwed if it gets impounded. But I'm in pain and can't do anything about it until his benefits give us the right policy number.

I'm in laundry hell and DS has a birthday party this afternoon. H has to work later. Tomorrow we will just BBQ and play in the pool. I got H a package from Omaha Steaks and some beer bottle keeper he saw a friend had that keeps your glass beer bottles cold while your are drinking it. My parents are leaving for an RV trip to CO tomorrow so I won't be able to see my Dad for Father's day. I seriously think they plan their trips away over these holidays so that my sister and I don't have to find a way to split time to spend with our own family and also with them. They went away over Mother's day as well.

Sorry lollipop, that's just shitty that he won't make a simple phone call a priority especially if he knows you are in pain. But also if you are on the policy you should be able to call to get the info., no?

I hope not, but sounds like what my girls do/have done when they are coming down with something. Hopefully she sleeps okay tonight. I feel like these kiddos always keep us on our toes. The times you think they are going to wake up a bunch they sleep great, and when you think they are going to pass the F out they are up all damn night. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

But not holding my breath that she isn't going to wake up sick either.

We went to SIL's gender reveal party today. She's having a girl. As usual at family gatherings, I was barely spoken to, and when I was it was mostly so MIL could contradict me. We were almost home before it occurred to me that the baby will be my niece. Weird.

Starting the new season of OITNB tonight. Anyone else watch it? We decided to rewatch from the beginning before starting the new season. We're on season 3, I think. I had a dream that H drove us 3 hours away to figure out if we could get a mortgage because we were being kicked out of an apartment we were renting from his friend. And my brain filled in a bunch of random numbers that we needed for the mortgage. It was weird. Partly because Dream H took it upon himself to get the stuff figured out, without any nagging from me. 😂😂

Starting the new season of OITNB tonight. Anyone else watch it? H and I watch it. We just started the new seaso two nights ago. We are three episodes in. There are a couple things that made me cringe in the first episode, but overall I'm enjoying it much more than the latest season of House of Cards.

H and I had a pretty wicked argument this week. It took a few days to come back from. It centered around parenting so it's especially touchy. We are settling down now.
Other than that my week was spent finishing my application to the library program I'm applying for. That's all done now so it's just waiting.
K has been a screeching unpleasant mess all day. She woke up too early. I'm hoping for a better day tomorrow. I told H I just don't have as much patience for the younger ages as I did with my older daughter. I guess I'm just more tired this time around. I can't wait for her to be able to communicate with us more.
Other than that, our day has been low key. I'm picking up BBQ for dinner so we don't have to take the pterodactyl to a restaurant.

copperboom, I LOL'd at your pterodactyl comment. We call DD that as well. She screeches when she is mad or unhappy about well, anything. We have the same issue with restaurants! For most of our trip we either did room service, take out or delivery to our hotel room because going out was just too effing hard.

Also I am fearful for my trip next week with my pterodactyl. Restaurants have been a shit show recently and thinking about surviving 6 days of horse show fighting that battle every night is making me twitchy. I may order in pizza every night.

Final PWing for the eve. L did the cutest thing tonight. She grabbed my hand (finger) and pulled me to the door, pointed and said out. Mind you she was in jammies. But how could I resist as she never does anything like this. I put on her rain boots and out we went. A few steps out she demanded dada and wouldn't go any further until I got him. She promptly sped her way, with both our fingers in her grips, down into the barn. I assumed at first she just wanted to go explore. But she marched right up to her ponie's stall and demanded coco popo (coco pony) which is what she says when she wants a ride. So of course we went for a ride.😁 I can't believe she orchestrated so many steps just to go ride her pony. And I don't know whether to be happy or afraid 😂😂
