I really need to start the bathroom cleaned but I woke up feeling icky so I might have to do some basic cleaning today and do the deep cleaning tomorrow I hope you feel better. |

tgrimes I thought you were talking about your home a/c not working. As shitty as it sounds, I'm glad it's your office so you can at least go home to a cool house with the kids! Sitting in a hot house with kids sounds like literal hell.

Hi guys. Sorry everything sucks tgrimes. Crazy day at work. Half my day was onboarding new interns and he other half was playing catch up from being out Friday. I was able to get out for lunch with my work bffs so that was good. Tomorrow is more of the same. More interns, more catching up. I’m happy it’s a short week. I’m already tired. |

Cadence came home saying kids were making fun of her and calling her names. She also said one of the boys wouldn't let her color because only robots could color and apparently only boys can be robots.  |

Josie just broke my heart. Her cousin, who's a year younger than she is lives down south and FaceTimed her tonight. Josie's face was estatic, just glowing. And when she got off the phone, she just crumpled and told us she had an empty feeling in her belly; she felt alone bc she doesn't have friends here yet. I really can't wait to get her out and about this summer--she needs some play dates !

Damn vino I’d be pissed if my kid’s day care wasn’t taking them outside daily or skipping snacks. My daycare provides food but my kids were so hungry at pickup time. It seemed like they barely gave them anything in the afternoon. You better believe i started sending in my own food with a note that stated a specific time that my child should get it and i asked the teachers and checked every day until they got it right. |

guster that's so sad. Could you sign up for a summer activity like t-ball or swim lessons so she doesn't feel lonely?

guster that's so sad. Could you sign up for a summer activity like t-ball or swim lessons so she doesn't feel lonely? She does soccer on Saturdays, and we're still traveling down to her old preschool twice a week. I'm trying to find a summer dance and gymnastics class so I think that'll help. Plus I know a lot of the parents take their kids to the little beach on our town on weeksdays so we'll start that soon, too! |

Today when I asked him how is show and tell went he said no one thought it was cool except his bff. He seemed so sad. But I also suspect he may be playing me because I get super sympathetic and it turned into a trip to the bakery. I’m the worst.

mamabear He just hit 11 months last week. Don't rush it! I need to start planning his first birthday celebration but it will have to wait until after this weekend.
Not exactly. We’ll be at the beach for his birthday with my mom and brother’s family so I’m planning to do a small celebration, but I would like to do some of the projects that I did for M to decorate. A month to month timeline and other small details. I need to research a theme that will good for the beach. |

He plays with girls and I've never heard him say there are things girls can't do, but he's very into the difference between boys vs girls and makes a lot of random assumptions. For example, he assumes avocado is a food just for girls because L and I like it but he and MH don't. |
