Taitai , Tracy from fanserviced b posted something on instagram saying Skinfood is entering bankruptcy proceedings. 😞 not sure on the timeline or if they’re actually going away. She thinks they’ll reduce the amount of products the have. (I think you’re the one who loves their products, if not, disregard!) I'm shocked by this. They have a lot of cult favs and are a good entry level price point. They also make my favorite concealer, boo. If it goes away I'm going to have to really alter my Christmas list I gave DH.

I've been embracing the Korean skincare life for the past several months and I think I want to add some snail. This is my current routine: 1)Origins clean energy cleansing oil 2)Origins Checks & balances foaming cleanser or Murad anti-aging acne cleanser 3) Klairs supple prep toner 4) Neogen real ferment micro essence 5) murad vit c serum 6) origins night-a-mins or murad vit c cream at night, murad anti-aging moisturizer for acne prone skin with spf 30 for day. During breakouts I add in philosophy clear days ahead treatment pads at night. I also exfoliate 2-3 times a week with either origins charcoal powder or Cane & Austin Retexturing scrub. I use a sheet mask about once a week, from my facetory subscription. Where can I add snail? My skin is combination, and I break out occasionally around my chin and jawline. Welcome milano! I think you have a great routine. I love Murad and Origins too. You can put snail between steps 4 and 5 if it’s a snail serum (like the Cosrx 96 mucin). If it’s a snail cream (like, in a jar), I’d put it between steps 5 and 6. The best rule of thumb for product order is thinnest to thickest - hope that helps! Let us know which snaily snail product you decide on. I think it will help with your breakout areas. The Naruko snail repair sheet masks are also amazing for resetting your skin on particularly bad breakout days 👍 🐌 Thanks! I just ordered the snail mucin and a few snail masks as well.

Is the wait time for deliveries from Asian beauty sites usually about a month? I'm just about to place my order with yes style ( is that a well known site?) and then the delivery is not expected till December 1. I tried the website mentioned here but I couldn't figure out if it delivered to Ireland.
Well never mind I actually just found a site that is out of Dublin for all k beauty so problem solved. I'm so excited to get started! I used to love all skincare but I let it go these last few years so it's a good self care for me.

Ok thanks to this thread, I've purchased some products and plan to start some sort of Asian beauty routine. This is what I am planning. AM Kate Somerville Exfolikate cleanser (this has AHA in it, too harsh for the morning? I haven't purchased it yet) Toner - using up stuff I have, Thayers Alcohol-free Rose Petal Witch Hazel Toner/Belief eucalyptus extract toner Essence - Belief Hungarian water essence Neutrogena Hyrdo Boost Moisturizer Sunscreen - Elta MD PM Banila co clean it zero oil cleanser (Used this for the first time yesterday and I liked it!) Cetaphil face cleanser (I'll probably get the cerave foaming cleanser when this runs out) Toner (same as above) Mask (I have the peter thomas roth mask set so I'll probably use one of those, also tried the papa recipe bombee honey mask last night and loved it!) Essence (same as above) DE Protini moisturizer I also got the Biore sunscreen and plan to alternate it with the Elta MD. Got a sample set from sulwhasoo to try some of their serums. I want to add vitamin C into my routine. Should I do it in the morning and night or both? I was planning to get the philosophy vitamin C powder but I see that the T'iam vitamin C serum is highly recommended here. Has anyone tried both and have a preference? I'm traveling to Asia next summer so I want to see what I like before I stock up when I go there.

I’m not sure on the cleanser with acid. If you’re immediately rinsing it off your face is it really doing anything? I’ll defer to someone who actually knows what they’re doing. 😂 ss265 I think you have a great routine planned out! The AHA in cleanser might help if you are prone to breakouts. That said, it can also be drying, and be careful not to strip your moisture barrier with it. One of the tenants of AB that I like so much is the idea of getting your face really clean, but in a gentle way (hence the focus on oil cleansers, double cleansing, and low PH cleansers). If you end up finding the AHA cleanser too harsh, try using it in the evening after your oil cleanse. In the evening you can add more moisturizing layers/sheet masks/sleeping packs to counteract the exfoliating effects of the aha cleanser. I love the T’iam vit C, but it is 20% L-AA, which can be too strong/irritating for some. I’ve never tried a Vit C powder, so I’m not much help there. Excited you ordered some Sulwhasoo samples. My wallet wishes I didn’t love that brand so much. 😅

Depending on how much you order and what type of free shipping you qualify for, it can definitely take a month to get stuff from the Korean sites. Yes style is a reputable one. I like Jolse - but they are slow (at least 3 weeks to ship to the USA) if you have smaller orders.

Do you like the mizon snail cream or ampule better?

Stuck in the box I recently ordered from Bemused Korea and was quite pleased. I wanted the Earth's Recipe Boosting toner and they were the only site that shipped free. I believe that is a world wide deal as well. It does take about three weeks though.

If your skin is tough, you should be fine with the T’iam C Source Vit C serum! I just use it once a day - in the evening. It’s a bit sticky, and I don’t think it would sit well under makeup. I love the T’iam stuff though - my skin tone is so even and feel so soft/smooth. I always have some on hand. Don’t use it if it is orange though - that means it has oxidized. I store mine in the fridge wrapped in tin foil, so it lasts longer and doesn’t oxidize (heat and light are bad for it).

I managed to find a sample of History of Whoo Honey Ginseng sleeping pack on Amazon. I have tried it a couple times and I love it. The texture is more gel like but it is incredibly rich and hydrating. I have tried a few different sleeping packs samples and this one, by far, packs the most moisture in for the least amount of product. There was enough left in the packet I was able to do two nights. I have added a bigger size to my Christmas list and started dropping hints with my DH.

However, Sulwhasoo makes me break out so at least there is that limiting factor. Have you tried the flavored black sugar masks from Skinfood? I saw they have a strawberry, honey and I think one more.

I got my order today! So excited, I got the mizon snail repair intensive ampoule, manyo factory white vitamin c serum , and four assorted mizon sheet masks. They gave me free samples of manyo galactomy clearskin toner And manyo galactomyces niacin essence. So I'm just going to add the snail for now my current routine is: Sukin sensitive cleansing lotion Rosewater facial spray with hyaluronic acid Snail Moisturizer with coq10 and spf
After about a week I will add the vitamin c I think. What about the two free samples? When and where should I add them? Also will add a sheet mask in about once a week? I did the snail this am and I'm not sure if I used enough, the instructions said one drop so that what I did. Thanks!

For the samples, the manyo toner you received is a cleansing one that has a little AHA/BHA in it. That means you would use it immediately after you are done cleansing your face and before your rose water facial spray. The manyo niacin essence you could put either before or after the snail. Whichever one is thinnest should go on first. Doing a sheet mask once a week sounds good! I do them several times a week - I love sheet masking 😁 In terms of the snail - just use enough so it feels like you have enough to cover your face, but not so much that it just sits like a slimey layer that won’t absorb. You can experiment - patting in excess also is always an option if you put too much on.

My sheet mask stash was getting low and life has been crazy so I'm treating myself to a facetory subscription for a couple months. I threw in some extras because I deserve a treat for trying to keep glasses on the 21 month old. I've been using Dermal sheet masks as my inexpensive ones and have no complaints outside of being finicky with scents. The red ginseng is my faaaavorite because I love the smell.
So far I've tried two. Daily Fresh Garden Mask Sheet: Bamboo Water - not for me. It was a weird combination of too many fragrances, my skin felt really heavy and sticky after, and it made my lips tingle and feel cold. It was weird.
Ariul 7 Days Mask: Bamboo Water - LOVED it. Skin felt great, smell was amazing, felt wonderful on my face, etc. I loved it so much that I was scraping the leftover liquid out of the package for two nights.

Lakes Welcome!! Excited to have another sheet mask enthusiast in here 😁 I’m going to put those bamboo ones you like on my list. I’ve never heard of them! I like the Innisfree it’s real bamboo masks - they always seem so refreshing to me. ETA - was the sheet mask material really soft and good at adhering to your face? I hate the ones that are more papery/stiff and make it difficult to get a good fit. Did the essence stay on the mask? I’m also not a fan of when it drips down your neck. Sorry for all the questions...I’ve become picky. These Ariul ones are now on my Amazon wish list though! Have you tried Naruko or Papas Recipe yet?

Taitai I did the Ariul last week and don’t recall it being drippy but there was a lot of essence left in the package. The material was thin and soft especially compared to the thick clothlike material of the Dermal sheets. I haven’t tried the Naruko or Papas Recipe but I have them on my Christmas list!

They have a .com site and also an eBay site that are popular and carry some makeup (like BB cream, lipstick, eye makeup). Jolse also does some makeup. I get my Etude House BB cream from there.

I’ve been doing two “fancy” and one inexpensive sheet mask each week. Bonnyhill Tea Tree Soothing Mask - I liked it and it goes on my would buy again list. It had a pleasant tingling feeling. My skin felt refreshed and firm. The tea tree smell was strong opening the package but fine on my face and didn’t bother me. No complaints about the mask or amount of essence. Holika Holika Lemon - I forgot that I did this one the other week which should tell you everything. It was a miss for me. All I remember is that I wanted a fresh clean lemon scent but it was more of a sweet lemonade scent. I can’t decide which to pick for Friday. How fun is the Entia Cloud Taitai? I remember you mentioning it a couple months ago when I started reading this thread. My birthday is in January and I was thinking about saving it for then.

I’m going to add the Bonnyhill tea tree masks to my list. My skin loves tea tree (I don’t really like the smell, but whatever), so I feel like this would be a good fit for me! The entia cloud mask is definitely fun. It’s more of a cleansing/exfoliating versus moisturizing mask, so don’t use it in your normal spot for sheet masks. Use it right after cleansing - before your hydrating toners, serums, or moisturizers. It has AHA in it, so if you do AHA already in your routine, maybe skip that AHA for the night. It’s really fun to scare your spouse with. At first, it’s a little bubbly, but by 5 min it, it starts to get really puffy. The bubbles start invading my eyes by 10 min, so I often can’t last longer than 10-15 min. But it is fun!

Innisfree has a US site and they make my favorite pressed powders and have a good (for Asian brands) color selection. us.innisfree.com/This site ships from Korea so shipping can take longer, but they have a good selection and nice samples. They do have select items that ship from the US and those arrive in about 3 days. They sell my favorite lip product: beautytap.com/product/peripera-peripera-ink-the-airy-velvet/beautytap.com/

Oh lordy - I've fallen down this rabbit hole. I don't have a particular routine so this will be a learning curve. Current Sunscreen is Image Skincare - SPF 50 I feel like my next sunscreen will be Nivea Super Water Gel. It'll be nice to have something I'm not actively hating. The Face Shop - Rice Water (Current cleanser is La Roche-Posay Effaclar Purifying Foaming Gel - Not bad, but I'm not sure it's enough?) Snagged the Honey and Rice masks because hey why not? Also picked up the COSRX Snail 96 (AM/PM) and COSRX Snail 92 (PM). Stumbled on these face masks and figured half could be a gift for a friend. I'm thinking the masks I could alternate each night unless one just stands out. My wallet blessed me for not picking up Sulwhasoo or Missha, but I wants..... Did I miss anything?

Anyone changing their routine or products out for winter? The change in seasons and my workplace is drying my skin out. I’ve been doing the Laneige Water Sleeping Mask a few nights a week and really like. I’m running out of my day moisturizer and am currently researching. Any suggestions for something reasonably priced for sensitive skin that’s prone to dryness?
