@easilyunamused, how many embryos do you have left? It's such a tough decision! 6. None of them are pgs tested, so I don’t know the sex or anything either. I definitely will not implant all 6 unless it’s necessary through the process of actually getting pregnant and a thb.

I have a dumb question. When do kids stop wearing onesies? I stopped putting them on ds1 once he was walking really well, so a bit over one. But I know people who use them longer.

I have a dumb question. When do kids stop wearing onesies? I figured sometime after they turn 1. When I was up for no good reason at 4:30am I had a question too. But now I can’t remember it. Lol

This is very true! I couldn’t fall back asleep because I started thinking about his 1st bday...which is over 2 1/2 months away. 🙈 So unnecessary, brain!

piratecat, I remembered! I wanted to know how many baths are you giving your babies a week. A is 9 months and gets 2 baths, Sunday & Thursday. Unless he gets dirty from a blowout or we use sunscreen. When do you start to give more baths?

I have a dumb question. When do kids stop wearing onesies? As a shirt, probably around 13-14 months because I just prefer regular shirts at that point. I do use them as undershirts in the winter though for an extra warm layer.

When do you start to give more baths? We are doing baths most nights unless we are pressed for time. We used to do 2-3 per week until he started to enjoy them more and have fun with toys so now it’s just part of our bedtime routine. I think that was around 8-9 months? I only wash his hair twice/week though unless he gets food in it, because he definitely does not enjoy that.

But he loves baths. Are you using a smaller baby bath in the tub? Or just the tub? We still use the infant one and I’m wondering when it’ll be ok to stop using it.

It’s less about getting him clean and more about just letting him play in the water and it’s just an enjoyable, relaxing time for everyone. I can even have a glass of wine. 😉 We still use an infant tub too just because it’s less water to fill but he has been in a regular tub before, definitely by 9 months, probably earlier. I think once they can sit reliably and stably in their own they’d be fine in the regular tub.

I have a dumb question. When do kids stop wearing onesies? Never... my kids will wear them forever. JK. We stopped with DS1 back in the fall. He was in 3T. We stop once they show interest in sitting on the potty ETA- he was well past 2.5 when we stopped onesies, and it was only because he was constantly trying to pull them off himself. He started showing potty interest around that same time and they are not helpful for a toddler that wants to sit

When do you start to give more baths? When they start getting smelly. My kids get 2-3 baths a week. They were once a week-ers until DS1 started wearing pull ups, and I had him in disposable ones until I could get cloth. He got smelly... they bathe together for cooperation (DS1 won’t cooperate without DS2 in the tub)

They’re about the only size I found that doesn’t run small. They only come in white, though. I bought 15ish and dyed them lol

I have a dumb question. When do kids stop wearing onesies? Lol I'm phasing them out as like t shirts now, DS is 8 months. I just think he looks cuter in an actual tee or tank and shorts. Or a one piece romper. 🤷 But he'll wear one under his pjs for a while. I don't remember when we stopped with DS1...maybe 18 months ish? When he really got into the cute 2 piece jammies.

DS1 outgrew the Gerber 3T onesies before he was 2 but Gerber sizes are so so small.
I bathe the boys every night but I SAHM and it's the easiest way to pass the time after dinner and before bedtime.

We just started bathing V in the big tub when she was almost 11 months. And now all she wants to do is stand or crawl in the tub so it takes both of us to bathe her. She gets a bath twice a week plus days DC puts on sunscreen since she won’t wear a hat they put it all in her hair/head.
I plan to use onesies for as long as possible. She’s in 12 month clothes now and I do have some t-shirts but I find they are too short for her usually for some reason.

If DD would cooperate she’d get baths every other day before bed. But she always poops all over herself randomly so I just gotta roll with that and give her baths. She’s been sitting well since 6.5 months so that’s when I started using the regular tub. Now she won’t stop standing in the tub which is slippery and dangerous. So always one hand on her back just like in the beginning. When it’s really hot ( it’s been like 3 days) I like the t-shirts more than the onsie ( 8.5 month old) Ugh the tub standing 😡 DS2 is doing this like crazy now too and has a black eye to show for it. I need him to get over the novelty so he can enjoy baths again because right now they're super quick and just me re sitting him over and over.

Re tub standing- It does not get better, in my experience. Bathe them standing up. My H will actually climb in the tub with them

Ds2 gets a daily bath with no soap because of his eczema. Ds1 gets an every other day bath, sometimes it's every day. He loves digging and being outside so he just gets gross.
Once ds2 can sit on his own better, I'll move him to a laundry basket in the tub. He's still in the infant tub in the sink. He's 7 months old.

I saw that trick after DS1 was too big for it and was fine in the big tub so maybe DS2 gets to try it. Might help with standing too, at least it would be less slippery.

It just contains them a bit more. Be aware of potential sharp edges on the basket though. We had gotten one and there was a rough plastic edge.

We just have DD in the regular tub with a mat under her. If she's not dirty, I won't put much water in. E got her a book that goes in the tub which is a big hit.

Re:baths...I aim at least once a week for N (11m) and Ben (3). Sometimes they get more it really just depends on how dirty they get. Since summer is practically here it’ll probably be like 2-3x/week for both.
