Sources saying Cobb clashed with Trump, refused to be part of mudslinging campaign, etc. Someone with integrity-ish? I feel like saying Cobb has integrity is kind of like saying Rubio is brave for speaking out on the lack of benefits to everyday people from the tax cuts. I might credit Cobb with the common sense to see that this approach will not end well.

mb3 That's why I said -ish. You're right, though; common sense-ish is better. (If he had full common sense, he wouldn't have worked for the dick in the first place.)

Quoting myself - they're just bailing and making a new company: Of course. It's like that episode of Mad Men where they tell them to just change the name of the dog food company that was selling horsemeat.

I like Kanye's music.
I also think it doesn't matter whether he believes this shit or is doing it for promotional $$$ reasons, it still emboldens the far-right - so either you are truly awful or you're truly awful in a different way.

They actually did it. 18 GOP reps nominated Trump for a Nobel Peace Prize.

I refuse to share the link to the Ross Douthat op ed in the NYT today, but this pretty much sums up my feelings on it. I couldn't help myself and looked this up-- so f-ing offensive.

Its Hannity, FFS, this should be a softball. What is happening? Is he unwell? Is he deliberately trying to help Mueller?

So what are the chances Cobb left because Giuliani was the last straw?? Jim Acosta is reporting McGahn is on his way out, I wonder if that played a role too. No one wants to be the last "real" lawyer standing.

They actually did it. 18 GOP reps nominated Trump for a Nobel Peace Prize. Kevin Cramer is a crazy ass piece of shit and I hope he loses against Heitkamp, but it’s ND so I’ll probably be depressed.

No one wants to be the last "real" lawyer standing. The article about Flood said that McGahn sees him as a potential successor as WH Counsel. We'll see if he lasts that long with this clown car...

What is Guiliani doing? There has to be an angle he is playing. When it comes down to whether they are employing strategy or just incompetent, so far they've just been incompetent. I think Giuliani could've thought that he was helping by saying it wasn't campaign money but there are still campaign finance laws against the situation he describes AND it ropes Trump into the whole Stormy Daniels thing that they've been denying. If it were strategery, Giuliani wouldn't feel the need to tell everyone that DJT was on board and he's definitely not getting fired

Anyone think maybe the GOP sent in Giuliani to intentionally bring him down? I find it highly unlikely, but the thought did cross my mind.

They actually did it. 18 GOP reps nominated Trump for a Nobel Peace Prize. This tells me that the GOP have absolutely no sense. I'm guessing they did it because Obama got one? TBH, I don't really think he deserved one either, especially at the point in time when it got it. But the Norwegian parliament appoints a selection committee that sifts through the nominations. I stand by my statement that they will probably laugh and pitch it or pin it on their wall of "worst nominations ever".
