xolastunicornxo it sucks. I had a very old friend get married in Portugal last year. I would have loved to be there, but with the lo's, dh's work and money, we just couldn't make it work. I had my FIL made them both (two women getting married) very nice personal ear studs, so that I could be there in spirit...

I could do this with most of my clothes, but what about your bras? Do you just toss them in with everything else? Hand wash. Lol, I have a hand wash cycle on my washing machine. All my whites and delicates (work shirts/pants) go in one hand wash load. But I'm also the one who refuses to wash H's laundry. I do not want to spend all day doing laundry unless there are a lot of errands being ran in between there.

My bras are cheap Playtex ones off of Amazon. They go in the regular wash. When I lose the weight, I will upgrade to nicer bras and delicate cycle them.

I have so much laundry. Like want to burn my apartment down I have so much laundry to do. And now we are in the constantly needing an oxyclean soaking bucket stage of babyhood. Yesterday N came home with yellow and red food on her white shirt...hmm, she was sent with a yellow pouch. Apparently she tried to steal her neighbors lunch and succeeded.
I'm pretty excited for the weekend. We may try the community pool out on Sunday. I ordered a family pool tote from lands end yesterday and some new swim shirts for j... thankfully since I put one on from last year today and it's definitely too small. I ordered a kids small (sob) since they didn't have 5t. (40% off swim stuff if going through ebates).

Morning, girls. I'm so behind. MH has been letting me sleep in and he takes the boy to school and it has been throwing off my entire morning.

Cher, have you taken C to the sculpture gardens on the old Pepsi grounds? I heard they're only open on the weekends, and I hate to do stuff like that when it's super crowded, but I have friends in town in a few weeks and was wondering if it's worth it with littles. I haven't. But if you go, let me know how it is!

flamingo can you tell me how long it takes to golf 18 holes? Or ask your H. I know he golfs. Dh has been wanting to go so I was going to send him and his brother and dad for fathers day. But I'm trying to plan brunch/lunch around it and Idk how long they'll be. It depends on what time they start and how many they're golfing with. MH will sometimes go alone at 5:45 and be done in 2 hours. But if he's with a foursome and teeing off at 9, he might not get back until almost evening. Also, everyone and their dad will be on a course on Father's Day so i would anticipate it being an all-day affair.

Such a nice accessory item. On a happy note, the house we're renting in VA has a separate laundry room (vs the pass-thru style we had previously) with a sink and room for a folding table, and space for the aforementioned oxyclean station. This was a major selling point.

Okay, with all our exciting laundry talk, how often do you guys iron?
I can't remember the last time I ironed. I don't own an ironing board. I'm not even sure I know where my iron is, although I have a good idea. It has been a minimum of 2 years since I've ironed, I know I haven't used the iron in this house.
Reason I ask, H's step mom borrowed a Royals tshirt from me to wear to a game. She brought it back, washed and ironed. I was like, who the hell irons tshirts? I have a shirt in my closet that needs ironed, which probably just means I will never wear it again. I may ask her if she will iron it for me. It's a silky material and I'm worried I'll ruin it anyway.

flamingo (I keep trying to tag you with your old sn!) Stop teasing me with that laundry room talk! Our tub floats around the bathroom and no where to hang stuff until we do laundry. mwhip mh irons daily. I don't buy clothes that require ironing, well, I do, but don't iron them, just layer enough so it's not obvious.

DH washes his own clothes and I wash mine. I also do separate loads for towels and sheets. The kids' laundry I do together and I use a different detergent for them. I do not separate whites. And I do not iron.

xolastunicornxo I missed the wedding of a friend who had been my bridesmaid because it was in Aruba a week after one of my kids was born. I'm sure your friend will understand even though it sucks to miss a trip you were looking forward to. I spent many hours researching whether I had to cancel my Disney trip this summer because my sister's doctor made her cancel last summer when she was pregnant. I am going unless there is a major change in Zika this summer. Some doctors are recommending not to get pregnant for up to 2 years after returning from Zika areas so even the bride herself could have reason for concern.

I'm struggling to keep up here. Been running lots of errands for our future kitchen reno. Also trying to get the kids out of the house more. I want to take them swimming today but that means I need to find time to shave my legs first. Eek! I can't wait to lazer hair off my whole effing body. It'll make life so much easier. My goal is to be lazered and bikini ready NEXT summer. This summer I'll just hide in the shadows and pretend I just gave birth. Lol.

Happy Friday! WFH today. H is napping so I'm trying to get as much done as I can before he wakes up. It's gorgeous outside but it's going to get hot this weekend. I'll bike to get N from daycare today and then we'll go to frozen yogurt and a park before coming home for pizza and a movie. She's been asking to do this all week and is so excited so it should be fun.
Tomorrow is demo day in the mudroom. We have to take out the cabinets, knock out the closet and rip up the floor. We have until the 29th the have the room ready for new cabinet install. Hopefully everything goes smoothly or I'll never hear the end of it from DH.

Carts isn't going to change it dramatically. I will guarantee you a course will take most of the day on Father's Day weekend.

I jumped on the deal because they were limited and it's a gorgeous course on the Ohio River. And they do a Father's Day brunch. So we can all eat together, they golf and we hit a park.

Morning! We were going to go to the children's museum with the ILs today but now S has a fever. I think it may be related to the shots she got 10 days ago but I guess I'll wait to see if there are any other symptoms. I put her first piggies in her hair and I'm about to die from the cute. I texted MIL to see if she could pick up H and bring her since she's been asking about it all morning. If nothing else I'll drive up there with them and hang out with S in the car while she's inside with them.

I wash the girls clothes all together, towels separate and bedding separate. DH washes his work clothes separate. Our clothes are separated into colors, darks and whites which are all separate loads DH does.
ETA: DH has to iron his work clothes so he does that once a week. I iron very, very rarely.
