Morning! S slept till 6. It was a rare but glorious occasion! I'm drowning in paperwork at work and hoping to get caught up today. Provided our internet is working. Yesterday is was going off and on all day making it difficult. It took 3 weeks after the flood for it to start working but hasn't been good since then either.

Ds was a terror last night, so I told him (we made a deal) that he couldn't have a slumber party at my parents and that i called grandma and she was sad too. He just broke down, it was heart breaking, silent sobs and curled up in to a ball on my chest. I felt like a monster... I told him mommy wasn't telling the truth and that I hadn't called grandma yet, but that I wanted to teach him... way above his level of comprehension. I rocked and sang to him to calm him down. Pfff parenting is hard.
I'm pumping and not wearing the right bra... it's messy. I forgot to put on the right one, maybe because I slept for 4 hours total last night. I'm tired.

Home with both kids today, so errands this morning and then hopefully a nap for Charlie. I'll take them out for a snack/lunch and maybe the playground if the weather cooperates. I thought last summer was tough at the playground (and the beach/pool for that matter) with Charlie in the bucket seat and Josie running all over the equipment, but I had no idea how difficult it would be this year.

Morning ladies. You're not a monster nam2013. The little terrorists often lose it when faced with the consequences of their actions (even if they're fake consequences). When they get older they'll start remembering that beforehand and quit being such turds.

Just work as usual and tonight we're going down to my parents. I'm annoyed that the weather is supposed to be shit because there's so much to do there in the summer.

Morning. I'm so tired -- I slept like crap because I got some unexpected news from my boss yesterday about my name being floated for a possible move to a different group within legal as part of a larger restructuring. I'm really not pleased. It's just rumor at this point but my boss felt he had to tell me because he didn't want anyone else to mention it first.

Morning!
B has camp this morning so we're getting ready for that. I am loving the 3 day/week schedule so I'm glad he's doing the same for preschool in the fall.
Otherwise, no big plans. I need to do some housework, I guess, and probably laundry. Safe bet--there's always laundry 😜

I'm googling potty training tips and praying to all the Gods. And eating banana blueberry bread. I made a loaf on Monday I think, and it was sooo good. I've been eating a piece for breakfast every morning with my coffee. I made another batch on Wednesday since I had bananas going bad. But I made mini loaves and gave some away. I think I have one left. I need to find more recipes for breakfast breads to give me some variety. This fulfills my need for a healthy and warm (I heat it up) on the go breakfast.

Hi everyone. I have already had a latte but still feel sleepy. Is there a point where I will ever feel refreshed again and like I have had a great night's sleep? We're going to an outdoor concert tonight (nothing exciting - just a series of summer Friday night shows) and then B has her ballet recital tmrw.

I throw all of Evie's laundry basket in to one load. None of her clothes get worn long enough for me to worry about separating them. Her swimsuit goes in with her towels with her bright pink shirts with her black pants, etc. She's 3, she pairs a red valentines day shirt with a brown fleece skirt that has pink and white hearts on it (not my choice, obv) so I just don't worry about her clothes.

I had been washing my kids' stuff separately for quite a while. But both B and C's stuff together, in their own load. In just the past month I've been integrating their stuff w the rest of the laundry. It's much better this way nam! You are creating extra work for yourself!

I know that's weird, but it makes putting things away a lot easier.

Cher, have you taken C to the sculpture gardens on the old Pepsi grounds? I heard they're only open on the weekends, and I hate to do stuff like that when it's super crowded, but I have friends in town in a few weeks and was wondering if it's worth it with littles.

I felt the same about this never ending week nam2013. So glad it's Friday. I woke up hungry just before 6, so I got a snack and tried to go back to sleep. No such luck. I'm tired. Leaving for work in a bit. I can not wait until this day is over. Third trimester is really kicking my ass.

All of DH's gets washed by itself because he works in steel mills and DNW tiny metal shavings on my babies clothes.

@yummee, It is Josie's first. I was so scared during dress rehearsal, but she was a little ham on the stage. The crowds and lights and sounds of the actual show might intimidate her some, so It could go either way. I'm having a really hard time about her being backstage for the two hours. And we haven't really received any communication about how they're handling pick up after the recital and I'm stressed out about the free-for-all that might occur. The two dance assistance that I asked gave me different answers and neither of them felt satisfactory to me.
