Well I think A officially dropped the midnight feed. He hasn’t gotten up since last Tuesday night. He’s woken up around 4am once and the rest were after 5, but no later than 6:30. I’ll take it!
My supply seems to be doing ok, I’m not waking up in pain but they are still full. So that’s reassuring.

@easilyunamused that’s awesome! N has been doing usually one wake up but after a long day of activities on Friday he slept til 5am Saturday! And he’s not eating much at night during his one wake up- usually like 1/2oz to 1oz, so I’m hoping he will drop it soon 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼
He just went down for a nap so I think I’m going to go take a bath. DH is off today so if N wakes up early he can get him and I can hang in my bath. I wish I could have some wine lol

E has a low grade fever. Between the leap, teeth, and now whatever this bug is.... yeah we're not close to sleeping through the night. I'm glad she's the second kid because I'd be freaking out that I'll never sleep again if she was my first!

kristyw ouch I’m sorry. That’s a lot at once. Idk why but other than extreme clingy-ness to me (which dh won’t stop sulking about) this leap hasn’t been too crazy for us. I hope he keeps it up. N has a handful of good nights then a terrible one then some eh the good. I don’t hold my breath and I’m pleasantly surprised some nights.

He only ate twice but he is teething. I can see it coming so I hope it pops through soon. His naps have been great t hiugh and we are solidly at 3 which is nice. Now if we can just get down to one night feed life would be good.

We bought DD1 a new bed yesterday that is being delivered tomorrow. She has stayed in the crib all this time! Ive loved it and really hope M is content that way till almost 4 too, lol. I really hope she isn't a nightmare transitioning to a bed and getting out of bed eleventy times. Maybe it won't be so bad since she is older than most. Wishful thinking I'm sure...

jt2378 We got ds1 one of those alarm clocks that you can program that turns green when you want them to get out of bed so they know they can't get out unless it's green. It doesn't really work for us bc he just lies there and screams for me, but maybe it will help you. Baby H is pretty regularly waking once around 2 or 3 and then around 5:30. I'll take it!!! He was so cute this morning burrowing his head in my arm and cooing. I'll forgive him for waking me up. He is loving solids, which is such a difference from my first. He'll eat a whole half a banana (mashed with a fork) and he stares down anything we're eating. I gave him a pineapple core the other day thinking it was too tough for him to get anything off, but he gnawed a hole in it with his two sharp little teeth, lol! He enjoyed gnawing on a mango seed too--it's a perfect natural teether except it's so slippery!

E's low grade fever was up to 102.2 before bed. I gave her some more tylenol. I'm hoping the fever is gone tomorrow, otherwise we'll probably be giving the doctor's office a call.

E slept from 7-10. And it's midnight and she's been up for 2 hours. She'll finally settle in and be almost asleep and then start coughing. Or talking. Or fussing. I just fed her again and gave her more Tylenol. I'm so exhausted. Please go to sleep!

I had a head cold this weekend. I took yesterday off, since it was 70 and sunny. We went to the zoo.
R’s been sleeping good at night, but some days she’s been fussy.

To the pool.... Hahaha! Or that is the plan anyway, later in May when we return from our trip (sans baby... which I both hate as look forward too!) I'd like to do swimming lessons for momma and baby (and daddy).

muscari I've used both Pampers and huggies swim diapers. They both work just fine for my kids. I've had no issues with either brand. Just keep in mind, they only hold poop (and only solid poop). So don't put it on before you get to the pool or you'll likely get to clean a pee covered car seat. And clean up poop right away. Even solid poop gets real messy if it sits in water for a little while...not that I've learned that lesson the hard way.

I just put those and put her swimsuit over or if you have a rash guard that matches you can just put that one and use those as the bottoms.

Sorry I've been super MIA but between the 3 kiddos, DH's crazy schedule, teaching, and everything else I've dropped the ball on my BMBs.
I hope everyone is doing well!!!! Sending coffee and hugs to those who need them.
How are our babies so old?!!!!
Has anyone else started planning their LO's 1st birthday party???

Today begins 3 weeks of state testing for me. I test all the special ed kids in my room. It's 3 hours of testing each day. We aren't allowed to have phones, computers, or ereaders out during testing. Half the time will be fine because I have to read to some kids but on days when I don't have to read I'm going to be bored out of my skull.
Also, we moved the crib down another level yesterday. It was making me too nervous where it was since j is trying to crawl. It feels so low but I know we Still have a few notches lower to go!

king26 Boo state testing! Two days left of solo parenting. Both kids have been so so clingy. I look forward to sneaking out for some me time this weekend. Luckily, since DH has been gone, L has settled into a good night sleep schedule with only one wake up to nurse. 🤞it stays that way.

J took 2 two hour naps today while I was at wprk. While I'm glad he's sleeping better that means no naps once I'm home today .
I'm that note, how long are your naps total per day? Like if j takes 2 or 3 or 4 they always total 4 hours. He usually takes 3 but twice in the last week he has only taken 2.

Sometimes he does 2 2h naps and 1 half hr nap, sometimes he does 3 1.5hr naps, or 3 1-2-1h. He’s not super consistent in length but usually he does 3 since his bedtime is so late compared to most of your guys’ LOs.

I found out it was my nanny’s birthday last week (she told me the day of). I made her a card with N’s footprints in the shape of a heart and printed a few pics of the two of them and put it in the card.
What else should I do? She’s 60ish, like a grandma to N, she’s amazing and cuts my fruit up for me so I can take it to work (like grapefruit, mango, etc), and deals with our wacky hospital life schedules. She loves bread (we’ve made her an extra loaf before when we made bread a few times). She’s married, no kids but I think has dogs bc I hear them whenever we talk on the phone, and I honestly feel like I hired my mother sometimes 🤣 but I adore her and feel very lucky we found her.
What else should I get her? Money- how much? A sweater/cardigan? (My moms suggestion). Bread?
