I am car shopping. Again. But like, actually going to purchase something this time. I have a short list. But my number one is just like, a couple thousand more than what I want to pay and it's driving me insane because I love it so much.

I did homework all day and I'm beat. H took DS to open swim so I have a little time to sit and relax. We're doing home made pizzas so nice and easy dinner.

My stomach is upset so no drinks here. I’m hoping peppermint tea will help. I sign the custody papers tomorrow and am waiting to hear from two apartments to see if they are going to still do breed restrictions for an ESA. I plan on moving in July (if I can make it that long). I hope you can find a place that is dog friendly.

Idk if I have a lingering cold or allergies but I've been having sinus issues all week. Finally took a sudafed today and I feel like a new woman.

We are deciding what to do for dinner. We have no wine or beer in the house so I'm hoping I can convince DH we need to eat out.

We are in London. It’s 11pm here. We traveled overnight and then took a short nap before we had a work event tonight. I’m wine drunk and sleep deprived, so not long for this world. So very excited to be here though. And both of our moms are babysitting- they may be secretly driving each other crazy, but my kids are in grandmother heaven.

DD2 learned to climb up the slide (the actual slide part) so she’s very proud of herself and I’m drinking beer.

Hello. We finished a late-ish lunch at a fun 50s themed restaurant, and H and I are driving home with the baby while the ILs play with DD1 at the park. Even though the restaurant was unnecessarily loud, the baby slept through the whole thing. She is still sleeping so FX she keeps sleeping so I can take a nap!

My list other wise is Toyota Rav4, Nissan Rogue, Honda CRV, Toyota Prius (I don't really want this one but I feel like it would be a good choice for gas mileage), VW Golf, or VW Jetta

I’d personally stay away from the VWs because I’ve heard bad things about them, but I have a Rogue, and so far it’s been good to me.

Here! I just spent several hours at a kids party at Monkey Joe’s. I have finally settled in with the parents at my kid’s school and actually enjoyed it, as much as one ever enjoys Mobkeg Joe’s, so of course she is going to a different school next year and I’ll start again. My awful cold of mostly gone so I will be having a drink and spicy chili to kill off any bounce house related germs. That’s how it works, right?

wasabi when we car shopped in 2014 I really wanted a Mazda CX-5 but settled for the more economical Honda CR-V because it was a few thousand dollars less. I never got over it and just traded in this January and got me CX5. I should have just gotten the Mazda to begin with and I’m so happy with it now. Point being if you can swing it, get what you love now. I’m not one to be attached to things like that but something about the car spoke to me.

SO was trying to talk me into getting a sedan for gas mileage, and I was like, I feel like most smaller SUVs have just as good gas mileage. He's just used to his gas guzzling Jeep I guess. Although this is the reason I threw the Prius and Jetta on the list, but in my heart of hearts I want an SUV

@wasabi that’s a good list. I would nix the rav 4 and the VWs personally, but I like all the rest. I also love the Honda HRV (slightly smaller than the CRV) but didn’t get it because I didn’t need that space.

@wasabi, I have a Jetta sportwagen and I LOVE it. I get excellent mileage, and it hauls a lot. And I haven’t found maintenance to be much more because it doesn’t require maintenance often.

You guys are reminding me of my list because I forgot I saw an HRV in my neighborhood recently and added it to my list after looking it up. There just don't seem to be as many available in my area (used anyway) so I kinda forget about it. I don't mean to turn this into a car thread, but why nix the rav4? I've only heard good things.

We went to a birthday party and it was so cute seeing N1 playing with his preschool friends. We’re meeting friends for dinner tonight at one of my favourite restaurants. Last time I was there I sat next to Claire Danes.

DS just fell asleep at 3pm for a nap. His breathing sounds so junky still, but sats are good. I’m going to throw the tablet at DD and hopefully get 45-60 of quiet. I have. Sinus infection and today has been really long.
We did at least get outside for a little while before it started raining, even if it was just DS playing and DD crying that “I don’t give her enough attention”. Dude. We are alone together for many, many hours a day. Sorry you can’t fit in my pocket, because that’s pretty much the only solution.

I personally find the Rav 4 to be clunky and not as smooth wasabi. My mom has one and loves it though.
