I have had a ton of numbness in my hands. It’s been happening on and off for weeks now but the last few days it’s been terrible. It’s hurts and last for 30+ min. Anyone else have pregnancy carpal tunnel? I think that’s what it might be. Also I can’t wear my rings now they are getting uncomfortable

budders I will take all the anecdotes I can get. Google is not always so reassuring fatpony Yup, and today I am checked out (har, har) so I am looking for a lot of ebooks to save for middle of the night feedings.

Is excessive cooking part of nesting? lol. Today I'm making a huge meal, probably enough to feed 6-8 people... for just H and myself. Ah well, guess H and my FIL will have something to eat tomorrow while MIL and I are at my baby shower lol

We had a full day of visitors at the hospital today. My grandparents, DD and my parents were all here. My mom was very eager to hold Harper but I told her to let DH. He hasn't held her much the past couple of days and won't be back til Tuesday.
He's going back to work Monday part time and taking care of DD. She'll go to daycare to get herself back into a good schedule. I'm planning on staying here at the hospital til Tuesday and will just go back home for that night. It's so hard to balance being here and being there for DD. There's not much for me to do here at the hospital but I'd feel guilty not being here.

Hugs ajm, I'm sorry it's tough with Harper in the NICU.

ajm I can't imagine how tough that must be to balance both girls. How are you and Harper doing?

Had a few hours of contractions after spending the morning at a festival. TOo much walking. Things have settled down though which is good because A) it's the boys' party tomorrow and B) my dad isn't in town yet.

ajm I can't imagine how tough that must be to balance both girls. How are you and Harper doing? For being in the NICU, she's good. She's got a feeding tube cause she's not quite ready to suck from a nipple or bottle yet. But she's almost able to get a pacifier to suck. She isn't on any oxygen and her IV may get dropped completely in just a day or two once her feedings have gone up enough to compensate. I'm doing ok. I feel like I just eat, pump and sleep some days. And do a lot of sitting around. But I've been able to do a lot of Harper's cares like changing diapers and holding her. I even got to give her a bath tonight! That was fun!

We've had a pretty chill weekend so far. Went to kohl's yesterday and then took my dad out to dinner. Currently DS is playing with his Star Wars and Daniel Tiger figures. It's supposed to rain the next three days here. Might just be a low key day at home, which I could use.
I have an OB appointment tomorrow and I'm going to ask about when they start to be concerned about the baby's size. I had am ultrasound last Monday and the baby was measuring 4lb 13oz at 31w2d. My son was only 6lb when he was born at 38w. No wonder I've had so much more back and hip pain.

I'm pretty sure F is currently breech. I felt something that felt like a head just below my ribs last night, but apparently that inspired my dream last night, because I had a dream that he somehow managed to push his face so hard against my belly that you could see everything, like one of those nail boards that you can push your hand into? It was seriously creepy and I was just like "OMG, GO BACK IN!" lol

When breech, if you push on their head only that part moves. When headdown and you push on their butt, everything moves.

ajm I'm glad you got to give her a bath, that probably felt good to be doing more. Each day should get a little closer, hang in there! I am really trying not to buy things for this guy because it's the third boy and what more could I possibly need, right? I was at Target and they have really stepped up the cute game in the five years since I had my first. I am almost hoping he blows out tons of diapers so I can justify why I got more sleepers today.

We really need to get the house clean today. We were focusing on getting the baby's room done so the rest of the house currently looks like a bomb went off. But I'm feeling so lazy and pregnant and blah. I do a little bit, then sit down, then have to talk myself into doing more...repeat.
But I really want a clean house before I go into labor...last time my BIL and his husband, who are both perfectionists and way more organized than me, felt bad that I was kept and induced unexpectedly. And apparently spent two days cleaning our house while we were in the hospital. It was really nice of them but I was slightly embarrassed. And the house then wasn't nearly as disorganized as it is now since we now have a tornado toddler. Would like to avoid this time. Lol

Baby's been quiet today. Not quiet enough that I should legitimately be worried or anything, but just enough to make me feel slightly paranoid. I remember these days with DD1.

My house is getting professionally deep cleaned while I'm at the hospital. The cleaner confirmed with me today. That and my hair appt the day before my RCS are the only reason I don't want her to come early.

Ugh, i feel like my dad can’t catch a break with me.
First, I told him we didn’t want any visitors the night before my RCS. (All our family is 2-3 hours away). He got kinda upset by that but it’s our last night as a family of 3.
Then I kinda got on to him for calling me 3x in a row and then calling again an hour or two later. He does this all the time and I was like, I will call you back when I can...I can see my missed calls.
Then today, he calls and I can hear him sniffling and told him if he’s still sick that I don’t want him coming on Thursday. I know that would really bum him out but I’m not repeating what happened with DS. He was 10 days old and caught some sort of virus and had a high fever from a visitor (I assume) and was readmitted to the hospital for 2 days.
My dad is very sensitive and always thinks he is the victim but it’s really not like that. Then of course I feel bad.

My cleaner was coming Wednesday (day before RCS) but now she is coming tomorrow bc her schedule changed. Wax and pedicure is tomorrow’. Hair is Tuesday night.

Lol I had planned to clean and organize this weekend since V was with my parents. H and I ended up spending time together and relaxing instead. I don’t regret it, but I’m really hoping baby stays in until at least next Wednesday so that I can have a few days home alone at the beginning of next week to get things straightened out.

robot orange juice usually does the trick for me to get baby wiggling. I have to drink it pretty fast though. Also we found out that an LED flashlight does, too. My toddler was trying to see the baby (lol) and grabbed a flashlight to shine on my belly and omg he went crazy for a half hour after that. We tried it one other time when I was actually a little worried about no movement and we had the same thing happen. Although that was when he was head up in my ribs. He's head down now.

budders We kind of did the same haha my H convinced me to rest with him while DD watched Paw Patrol. So I slept for 45 minutes while he laid down with me and played on his phone. But now I'm up and he took her outside because she asked if they could do yard work together (she loves yard work. It's kind of hilarious. She's good at it too.) So now I have no excuse and really need to get my butt in gear. I'm aiming to at least finish the kitchen, entry room and living room. I got most of the clutter cleared but haven't started the deeper stuff.
