I might not have meals stocked up and ready, but I have alcohol ready for when we get home. Oh hi me! I have two bottles of my favorite wine and ciders already in the fridge. I will not be upset if this baby decides to come earlier than my scheduled c section. The earliest date they would schedule me happens to be my birthday, so I picked the next day. But if this baby wanted to come on June 8th I wouldn't be mad, then I could get home by my birthday! That would still be later than DS came. |

DD was on her EDD so I'm trying to come to grips with going until then, or late. I was on my EDD and my younger brother was 5 days late and my mom says it was the most miserable thing ever because everyone told her second babies come earlier so she was expecting to be done before then. But I am so sore and uncomfortable. My DS was born on his EDD too and I am incapable of accepting that this one could be late. No. At my appt today, we talked about what would happen if I went past my due date (which is in 2 weeks), and it was basically have another ultrasound and keep an eye on things. That is... not my definition of a plan. |

These Bh are crazy. I have them all day long but in the evening they are so much more intense in frequency. Basically from 5pm-10pm I have so many. Then they taper off. I’m going to call my OB tomorrow and see what she says. I’m sure it’s just regular Bh but I have had a couple that i felt in my back (like 2 today and 1 last night).

I totally just played the billion years pregnant card. I hope it works. Saturday is Record Store Day and one of my favorite bands is putting out a limited release that I really, really want. But normally I get there 4hrs before they open to wait in line with the other record geeks to make sure I get what I want. But...I obviously don't want to do that this year in my current state. I'm kinda friendly with the owners so I messaged them on Insta to see if they even have it. And to see if they will hold one for me. I hope they do.

Nesting finally kicked in today and I nailed some big jobs. I was so chuffed with myself.
Now I’m having crazy BH and slightly regretting going so hard. At least DD woke up from her nap when she did, otherwise I would have kept going for longer...

It’s almost 5 am and I’ve been wide awake since going to the bathroom at 3. I have to get up for work in an hour, so I’m assuming I’ll be tired enough to fall asleep again in about 45 minutes.

It’s almost 5 am and I’ve been wide awake since going to the bathroom at 3. I have to get up for work in an hour, so I’m assuming I’ll be tired enough to fall asleep again in about 45 minutes. Howdy! Been awake since my pee at 4, then laid in bed and tossed from one side to the other until my alarm went off at 5:45. So. Can't. Wait. For. Leave. |

I'm trying to get the recipe that my best friend used for the best sangria ever so I can start laying in stock lol.
Also, totally just bought more cloth diapers when I should have been paying rent. Oops. At least my landlord is understanding.

I'm planning to get my bag packed this weekend. I was talking to my mom about packing bags yesterday and she said not to worry about a bag for O because she'll just grab what he needs. We also talked about how long she'll have O at her house and she said 'I plan to keep him until you say bring him home.' Sometimes she can be great and I need to remind myself of that when she is driving me up the wall. My dad suddenly passed away a couple years ago when O was an infant and her personality, understandably, changed a lot.
I also hope to finish the nursery which is just finishing putting up some decorations and finding places for a few things. I know I'm getting a gift (laundry) basket from one of my schools next week which will be packed full of more things for the baby. Then it's buying the last few essentials and we'll be ready...ish. I'll save the carseat install until next weekend.

Fully living up the last few days of being pregnant by eating all the crap food. DH bringing me Wendy’s home for lunch. Yesterday it was Chick-fil-A. I'm just going to eat vicariously through you. I told H yesterday that our only plans for tomorrow were to road trip to CFA (because it's a 50 mile one way drive) because NEED. He lolnope'd me because "crossing state lines is basically a guarantee that I'd go into labor" *eyeroll*. He's probably not wrong, but I didn't while the big kid was still contagious. I'm pretty sure the road trip to CFA wouldn't either. |

One of my students (and his family) sent in a gift bag for me today with 5 summer outfits and a little fisherman's hat. He was so excited to give it to me, and to show me what he helped pick out. It was such a sweet and thoughtful thing for them to do, and the clothes are super cute. I can't wait for the little guy to be here and wear them!

budders, that is so sweet! I bet he'll also love getting a thank you note from you. One of my kindergarteners told me she has a present for my baby. We'll see if that shows up or not. We had a playdate with yesterday with a little girl. Her mom is having a boy in August and she was a May baby so we swapped clothes. FX that my DD is average sized and we can borrow clothes for bigger sizes too.

At my appointment the other day, they said I had "borderline" low ambiotic fluid. After doing the NST test, all was good on the baby heartrate/movement side of things but I have to get it checked again at my 37 week. She thought it may have just been me not drinking a lot of water but still, that worries me. I'm a little nervous about what may happen if it is still low because I'd like the baby to stay in a little longer.
I'm working today at the library all day. I actually think I'll be able to rest more there than if I were at home with the two kids. Plus, the weather is a little yucky so hopefully it will be slow there.

oreobitsy I was also "low end of normal" with fluid levels at my last appointment too. They are going to keep an eye on it. Hope yours ends up being a fluke! We were supposed to go to a parade this morning but my H got called to work. Then my MIL offered to watch the toddler so I could go to Record Store Day so I've been here in line for about 1.5 hours. 31 minutes til they open. I got here a lot later than I usually do...so I'm definitely not as close to the front as I want but I'm hoping I'll still be able to snag the Kills record I want. They aren't as big as some of the other special releases. 🤞🤞🤞

oreobitsy FX for better fluid levels next time. Anecdotally, I had low fluid concerns with V for the entire 3rd trimester (and I drink an insane amount of water per day, so that wasn’t even a factor), but it was just monitored and never became a crisis scenario. I was induced (for high BP, not fluid) at 39 weeks with him, so hopefully you’ll be fine for the next few weeks!
