I am down almost 4lbs this week. Even after some indulgence this weekend. This week is about continuing to track and getting more consistent with getting my runs in. I woke up this morning with little to no PF pain so I should be good to go

I posted about this in another thread this morning. My scale will not budge. I took measurements around the middle of last week to have another way to gauge progress. I should be thankful the scale hasn't gone up, but it's also not gone down — not in two years. I weigh basically exactly what I did at six weeks postpartum. That's frustrating.

notblanche I’ve been there and know how frustrating it is. It’s taken me 4 years post nursing DS to figure out what works to get the scale moving. For me it’s limiting alcohol (1-2x a month), tracking with WW, and drinking lots and lots of water. Combined with strength training and pulling back on my running mileage. And importantly having the occasional cheat day. It shocks my body/metabolism back

I couldn’t get up this morning. I was up too late last night drinking beer and eating cheese. I will try again tomorrow.

It is my week 1, but I started BBM 5.0 this morning.
It was shocking to see Brianna from the past after watching her current self for 90 days. I know she was very newly post-partum in 5.0, but she has lost a serious amount of weight since then.
Also, the production value with a camera crew is verrrry evident. I'm looking forward to that, even though I didnt like watching the exact same video 2 or 3 times a week.
Anyway, days 1 and 2 are done!

It ends up being about 25-30 minutes, which is a great length for me.

Okay that's what I'm going to do, too, then. I did days 5 and 6 both yesterday and felt amazing after, but wasn't sure it was something I should or would want to continue.

For the tabattas I usually do 3-4 rounds to make it a longer workout. Then on strength days I add abs (I do Jessica Smith abs) to make it 30 minutes.

I did a 6 minute “benchmark” cardio, that was like a fit test of sorts.
I also added a 10 minute popsugar core/abs...I definitely sweat and am sore.
I really need to put the scale away for a while. I’m hovering at 4ish lbs above my goal weight, but my clothes feel great, my endurance and strength are up and I know I’ve made huge changes. I didn’t even drop a single pound during a 7 day surge (diet and exercise). My goals have never really revolves around the scale, but I really need to let go of that “weight” on my shoulders.
I need to focus on doing more reps, doing longer workouts, starting running again and keeping it as a workable, doable thing, that’s just a thing I do. I’m getting 15 and 20lb dumbbells from my mom this weekend, so at least that’s a NSV.

I set my alarm for 4:40 to work out this morning. I happened to wake up 10 before the alarm went off so I did a 25 minute hasfit workout instead of the 17 minute one I was planning to do. I should be able to squeeze in the short workout sometime this weekend and Star catching up with the hasfit April calendar.

I hope you have a good day. I busted out a 20 minute strength. I love that these don’t feel hard while I’m doing them, but man, I have been in a pretty constant state of (good) sore since I started. Also the core tabata I did yesterday was killer and my sit ups this morning were ROUGH.

Rest day today but I went to Costco and target, which is about as much as I can handle. Yesterday's squat swings were a bit much for my thighs and pelvis.

Day 9 of my JM program. Strength was about balancing, triceps and abs. Now to chug some protein and go to bed. DH has to leave at 6am and running tomorrow evening will be impossible so I’m hoping to get out early

Did a workout class last night for 1 hour. This morning I woke up dizzy and not feeling too hot. I think I'm going to take a rest day since the last couple of days have been nuts and the next week or so I'm running around all day every day for work events.
