My H told me to invite my friends over either evening since it's been so long since I've seen them. I guess I'll see if anyone is even available this late in the game. We had briefly discussed getting together Friday evening a few months ago, but I decided against it, so I doubt they'll be surprised when I bring it back up. But with it being Easter weekend...

Cadence had a dentist appointment this morning. Normally she loves the dentist. We left today with her saying she doesn't like the dentist any more. She, for whatever reason, stressed herself out. Refused sunglasses, told them to turn the overhead light off, didn't want to use the water gun or the sucker machine. She said no to everything. She gagged so much I thought she was going to vomit all over the tech. They made a note to not use cherry flavor anything any more. The dentist, who is a different one than we normally see, suggested xrays. The tech asked Cadence if she would just look at the xray room and try on the jacket first, then they could decide about xrays. She managed to get a picture of her front top and bottoms, but no side pictures. I saw her adult teeth. The tech said it would probably be just a year or so before the bottom ones fell out. That makes me sad. I also don't like the way her top front teeth looked. I feel there will be a large gap and I'm being vain about it for her. The tech said not to worry and she'll grow into them.

S used to love the dentist too. We went about a month ago and it was TERRIBLE. Like he cried the whole time and flipped out when we went to do Xrays. They wanted to do the back teeth and he just sat there and cried and wouldn't bite the bite plate. It was awful and we left without Xrays. I am not looking forward to the next appt.

I just got the call from the scheduler about B's surgery tomorrow. We have to be there at 6:30. Fortunately it's only about 15 minutes away, but still.. that means I'm up and showered and dressed and waking him by 6 to get him changed and out the door. And no way MH can come with me b/c S will flip if we wake him that early.
My boys usually wake up between 6:30 and 7:30, and we normally don't leave the house till 8 or a little later, so this is very early for us.
I know this is very FWP. I'm happy they are getting him in so quickly and I'm sure everything will be fine!

So- I fell in love with a house in Florida. I’m afraid that it will be gone if we wait a month until we can get there. So I’m trying to set up an appointment from my BIL & the realtor to check it out. It literally checks all our boxes. And that house where I live now would be DOUBLE the price. I need it. We may put in an offer sight unseen by us... depending on what my BIL and the realtor say. 😬

jewels, they do it that early since they can't eat anything. Or at least that's why I think they do it.

Also, this is where you shower at night and throw on jeans and wash your face, who cares what you look like. Good luck! EtA: no one cares at a surgery center and that early! Not every day☺️

Ugh, speaking of the dentist--I feel like I'm going through teething all over again with Maddie. The poor girl has such a small mouth. Her adult tooth from the second tooth she lost on the bottom still has not come in. But there's no where for it to go because there's another tooth where it should be. She has a dentist appt this Friday but when MH stopped in with her to schedule it they did a quick look and confirmed that it looks like her tooth is coming in way down on her gums because there's no room for it. They might have to put in some sort of permanent retainer-type of thing that would stretch her mouth. It sounds painful.

I am a nut about showering in the morning. Like I just don't feel human if I don't. I think I'm the only person who showered every single morning on maternity leave. It's my "thing". So I'd rather wake up extra early just to get that done. Fortunately, I am a wash and go kind of girl, so I don't need to worry about drying my hair or anything!

FFC: I'm taking candy from work to fill Easter eggs for Cadence's Egg Hunt at school tomorrow. It's pouring rain and I have no interest in going out in it for egg fillers. I also contemplated raiding her Shopkins to put in them, but she knows every single one that is in there and would recognize if any are missing. Can't remember her alphabet, but she can remember the name of every single Shopkins and LOL she has.

Oh geez you guys- I’m in a natural type mom group on facebook.... this lady still breastfeeds her eight year old daughter. And it’s her only kid so it’s not like she’s even nursing littler ones too. 🤔 🤦🏼♀️

I hope they were lying.

They're still pretty sporadic. I cannot believe the amount of fluid I have though. I completely soaked three outfits all the way down to my socks by the time I got to L&D. I had polyhydramnios and when my water broke, it was awful. I felt like it didn't stop coming out for HOURS and HOURS. I was so embarrassed walking through the hospital and then getting on the elevator and going up to triage because I was convinced everyone saw the water gushing out of me and was worried I was leaving a trail. Lol. This is why we make patients that think their water has broken ride in a wheelchair with an absorbent pad under them.

Omg cagoldi!!! I hope everything is ok and you are resting. Yesterday i went to the dentist after not going for 1.5 years. I have so much anxiety about going to the dentist. Anyway, i had one small cavity between two teeth and he also fixed the bonding on my front tooth that i chipped in undergrad. Now i feel like i have a chicklet in my mouth. I hope people can’t tell i have a partially fake front tooth. Also my MIL arrived today so I’ll have some help for a few weeks.

Now I feel bad telling you guys that H did awesome at the dentist this morning. S did not love it though (which I was expecting). S has been a hellbeast since we got home so she’s having an early nap. While the girls are napping I will do BBG and then once everyone is up we are going to the zoo.
