At the doctor for M. I think he either has another ear infection or his old one never went away. Then I have some banana bread to take to a sick friend before trying to squeeze 10 hours of paper work into 6 hours..
Also morning! Today was supposed to be a quiet day. It started with a hunt to find Easter cookie cutters (ds needs to bring them to school tomorrow). A friend and her boy stopped by unexpectedly, so I had cleaned but after they left I needed to to it again 😂😂😂. Making dough twice, because I made to little, dd only napped for an hour. It is half past four and I’m done for the day!
Ohhh exiting!!! Fingers crossed everything goes smooth and fast!
Yes I quoted myself. Somehow I had in my memory you were already 36-37 weeks, not 34! I’m hope little miss P keeps on cooking for a little while longer!
This is an inconvenient week to have a baby. But isn't it always?
My mom just called me because grandma had to be readmitted to the hospital a few hours ago, and on her way back to her hotel she got a flat tire. So she's had very little sleep and probably shouldn't drive, plus she needs to get updates on grandma.
Oh wow! cagoldi . These third babes are impatient. Hope everything goes smoothly. Keep us posted. Are you having any contractions yet?
They're still pretty sporadic.
I cannot believe the amount of fluid I have though. I completely soaked three outfits all the way down to my socks by the time I got to L&D.
I had polyhydramnios and when my water broke, it was awful. I felt like it didn't stop coming out for HOURS and HOURS. I was so embarrassed walking through the hospital and then getting on the elevator and going up to triage because I was convinced everyone saw the water gushing out of me and was worried I was leaving a trail. Lol.
So in a matter of 30 minutes, I have convince myself to invite my friends over either Friday or Saturday evening for drinks (hello late notice), sent H a text to see which night he would prefer, and have now talked myself out of it because I'm tired.
Friday after work we are ordering granite, Saturday we have Easter at my moms, Sunday we have Easter with H's family, so I think adding drinks with friends would just be too much.

I had it with X but they said my fluid looked pretty normal this time.
I do remember when it broke during labor with X, the doctor and nurse visibly recoiled and turned away so they wouldn't get splashed.
And, I don't know how to describe that sloshing sound but it was loud. Kind of like when you're on a water slide.

I'm sure everyone could see you were pregnant and no one cared about your water trail. Ha ha ha!

Haha! And here I was, feeling dumb going in and convinced they were going to tell me I had gas and then they said my water had broken and they couldn't even see anything because there was so much fluid.

So this is what 41 is going to be like, huh?
This is my life. I'm always all, "let's have everyone over all the time! Brunch, dinner, appitizers, ect!" Then I realize that sounds like a lot of work and I'm tired.

Morning! We are headed up to the top of the peninsula today to take a ferry to the island up there. Evelyn thinks we are going to an island with faries on it, so I hope she's not too disappointed.

You guys are making me nervous!
These May babies are getting confused. Or just really inpatient!
Holy shit cagoldi! I too thought this was going to be about furniture. Fx P decides to stay put a few more days, but either way you've got this. Looks like these third babies are just really ready to meet their mamas.
guster, I also did my local moves that way and it was so much easier. There weren't so many boxes around because I just filled up a few and emptied right away with each trip. I had all the closets done before dealing with the main move. I just grabbed my clothes still on the hangers out of one closet, drove to the new place and hung them right back up. Good luck with everything and I hope it goes as smoothly as moving can go.
I had a very realistic dream that I found out I was pregnant last night. Like so realistic I was thinking I've got to get on N13 and tell everyone. I think it was because Maddie's teacher had her baby yesterday. Thank heavens it was a dream.
Wow! I pop in to say a quick hi and see that cagoldi is on her way to the hospital. I hope baby will stay put as long as possible and give the steroids a chance to kick in; thoughts and prayers headed your way, Goldi.
Hi all. We made it to FL yesterday in 10 hours—only an hour longer than it used to take me solo so not bad at all, considering stops and traffic. The kids were SO good, even C-the-wildcard. She was happy to watch Moana and occasionally bellow ‘No!’
It is in the upper 70s here, sunny and gorgeous. I miss it so much but am thrilled to have the extra days at home.
I’ll try to pop in and out this week but prob won’t be around much. Hope you all have a good week!
No ear infection for M. There is still fluid and they want us to come back in a month. If it's not draining they'll refer us to an ENT. This was the NP and I loved her. I'll be asking to see her from now on.
