Feeding question: DD2 will be 6 weeks on Monday and she is still eating every 2 hours. I’m lucky if I even get 2 hours out of her between feedings. She is FF and drinks about 32 oz of formula throughout the day. I don’t ever remember DD1 drinking this much. Could it be a growth spurt? Is it possible to over feed a baby? She spits up a lot, but also burps really well so I’m not sure what’s going on. Maybe I just have a baby that loves food? J is 8 weeks and FF. He has been eating around 30 ounces in a 24 hour period the past few weeks! How many of ounces is she getting per feeding? She’s getting about 4-5 oz, sometimes 6 if she goes more than 2.5 hours. Yesterday, she had 36 oz! That just seems like so much to me. When she spits up, its not more than a tablespoon I’d say so it’s not the entire bottle. I just don’t remember DD1 spitting up nearly as much or eating this much.

mrsp84 there is a 6 week growth spurt. I knew there was a growth spurt somewhere around 6 weeks; just wasn’t sure if it was 6 or 8 weeks. Maybe both? Hopefully it starts leveling out in the next few days. She did just sleep for 6.5 hours so that was good! 👍🏻

easternshoregirl I think I remember seeing in my local babywearing group that froggy legs are no longer recommended! They say legs out is better from the get go. I have only used the ring sling so far but I always do legs out :-)
