When can we stop doing froggy legs in the carriers?(does that make sense? not sure if I'm using the right term) I think DD1 was around 3 or so months when I started doing legs out with her?? I didn’t babywear DS so no experience there. Sheesh 3 months really isn’t that far away now.

I'm finally down into the 160s! And I didn't even take my shoes off. I had my doc appt today, 6 week pp. I will be making an appt to get a Paragard put in in a couple of weeks, once they clear everything with insurance. We'll see how it goes, hopefully it works well for me! I know it can go either way, I've talked to people that loved it and people that hated it. Doc thinks I'm a good candidate. ETA: I still have a long way to go on weight loss. Healthy/comfortable for me is 130s.

I'm wearing O legs out already in the narrow seat on my Lille. Check your carrier manual!
If I were to buy a Tula right now I'd buy the free to grow. Honestly. The Lille Complete line is comparable.

Hi guys. Coming here to see if anyone else’s baby still LOATHES tummy time & what you are doing to help?? DS is 9w now and still hates it, even though he is very strong he just won’t do it. He lays his head down & cries haha. I feel bad bc all his fun playtime is on his back now & it’s not helping his flat spot.

I’m fibally 170 (got up to 203 with pregnancy, was 140 pre-preg) so I have a ways to go too.

rebeccabunch, I have the Tula free to grow. I've never tried the standard so I have nothing to compare to. I like that you don't need an infant insert with the free to grow.

ajetter is that the chicco keyfit? If so, my DS2 was a prolific spitter and we have that seat. You can wash the straps. Turn it over and unhook them from those silver hooks. Take a picture first so you remember how to get them back hooked. The whole cover can be washed too but you probably know that. I just washed our straps before she was born. It is a Chicco. Yes I’ve wash ever item on the seat except the straps but I was under the impression that you basically shouldn’t soak the straps. How did you wash the straps?

dragonflyinn baby just started tolerating it better this week and she’s 10 weeks today. Just keep trying? I also put her on the boppy sometimes too. She is much better on there. She actually rolled belly to back once today, but I think it was a fluke!

ajetter you are a champ! I haven’t even been brave enough to take my two out alone let alone 4. I’ve gotten braver over the years, and it’s a small zoo. And I still have ZERO desire to run errands with all four. I disntinctly remember a day when DD1 was a baby. I usually avoided going to stores and stuff with her on my own because I was just, terrified. I also had pretty bad PPA and having her in the car with me was one of my triggers but I really wanted some damn craft supplies for something stupid. I talked myself up and we were going to go. Got us all ready and she puked all over both of us. Got us changed and loaded in the car and we started on our way. About halfway to the store I could hear her pooping. And I said screw it, turned around and went back home. Over the thought of having to change a poopy diaper in the store. Lol.

He does do better propped up on a blanket, I haven’t tried the boppy thoughZ

sunfrogger how’s you DD? (Sorry if you already updated) Thanks! She's doing good right now. Right now she doesnt sound too snotty thankfully! She's slept most of the day.. I didn't wake her bc I figure she is trying to get better. Hell even DD1 took a 3hr nap today. That's not normal. So.

Feeding question: DD2 will be 6 weeks on Monday and she is still eating every 2 hours. I’m lucky if I even get 2 hours out of her between feedings. She is FF and drinks about 32 oz of formula throughout the day. I don’t ever remember DD1 drinking this much. Could it be a growth spurt? Is it possible to over feed a baby? She spits up a lot, but also burps really well so I’m not sure what’s going on. Maybe I just have a baby that loves food?

When can we stop doing froggy legs in the carriers?(does that make sense? not sure if I'm using the right term) I am already doing legs out in the stretchy wrap. I read a tutorial that said it was ok from birth or whenever baby wasn't so curled up which is different depending on the kid. I really don't like froggy legs because I worry about the position when I can't see the legs.

dragonflyinn, our ibclc recommended putting baby on their back and rolling them onto their tummy then back on their back when finished. That seems to help but admittedly we don't do a ton of tummy time here.

I finally got out of the house today without either kid! It was only for an hour to target, but it felt good to get out! I hasn’t been outside even for a minute since Tuesday. I have to start getting out more but with snow and it being overwhelming to take both kids out, and wanting to avoid play spaces because of germs; it’s been hard. But I felt like I was going to go crazy today, so I had to get out. I can’t wait for warm weather! We are going to go candle pin bowling tomorrow so that should be fun, DS is very excited and hopefully the baby cooperates.

The kiddos are both in bed. G is still up but I don’t think she will last too much longer. She didn’t nap today. MH and I are trying to figure out what we are doing to do this evening. We may watch last nights Drag Race or continue on with 13 reasons why.

The magic of thumbsucking is commencing over here 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 H has been sucking her thumb here and there lately but she doesn’t have enough control (or ANY control for that matter) of her hands to do it consistently. But she was stirring during her nap earlier, found her thumb and started sucking, AND WENT BACK TO SLEEP!!! And she did it a couple times after that too. This kid won’t take a binky so I am beyond excited about this!!!

He has been eating around 30 ounces in a 24 hour period the past few weeks! How many of ounces is she getting per feeding?
