Good morning! I have a busy week at work ahead but no travel so I'm feeling pretty good about it. In baby news, I have my anatomy scan follow-up on Wednesday and I'm getting a little worried it will be cancelled as we are supposed to get quite a bit of snow.

Morning! I went to bed way too late last night and was up last night with weird pregnancy dreams, I am exhausted š© I need to get DS out of the house but it's going to be another cold week here so I guess I have to deal with a wild toddler until this weather breaks.

I'm blaming pregnancy hormones but I've already cried this morning. We went to my favorite hibachi place last night. My husband took my fucking leftovers to work! I specifically told him he couldn't have them! I wanted those for breakfast and I'm so mad/disappointed. šš¤

Itās a snow day here. All the schools have closed. Daycare was open, but we decided to keep DS home. We didnāt want to get into a situation where itād be difficult to get to him. So, H and I are juggling our work days so we can both tend to him and get work done. Iām sorry notmoose. Iād be upset about that, too. Pregnancy + looking forward to specific meals = strong feelings.

cara I know I'm being a bit irrational but I seriously want to punch him in the face. I get madder the more I think about it. He knows I'm serious about my food!

That sucks notmoose! Iād be angry too! Iām angry on your behalf! Did my repeat 24-hour urine test yesterday. It better not be too diluted again! I purposely held back on drinking my normal amount of water. I filled the jug but didnāt go over again this time. Fingers crossed I donāt have to repeat it again.

notmoose Have also cried over food, I can sympathize. Iād be so angry. My inlaws came for dinner on Friday and decided not to leave until Sunday afternoon. Pregnancy is hindering my ability to fake being nice and it was a struggle to get through the weekend. They mentioned coming to stay when the baby is born and I need to ensure that does not happen.

My jeans from Motherhood will be here on Wednesday. Thank goodness. My sized up, low rise jeans are working, but I need a belt with them and they are too lose on the 2nd notch and too tight on the 3rd. So I'm stuffing my shirt back into my pants/pulling them up all day. š

The hunger has been insane today. Like painful hunger. I ate my peanut butter sandwich with my clif bar at 7am so I had to buy an Amy's meal to have with lunch. Crazy!

notmoose, pregnant or not, you are justified in being upset. Sure, it seems petty, but it's about respect because you told him he couldn't have them. I hope you found something else delicious for breakfast!

Why do people insist on making stupid comments to pregnant women? There is a new employee at work and another coworker mentioned to her that Iām pregnant with my first. New coworker asked when I was due. Told her August 23. Cue skeptical look from her coupled with āReally? Are you sure you arenāt farther along?ā š” Way to make a terrible first impression, lady!

sugarkissed, ILs are complicated. I hope you and your husband can keep them away until you're ready for their visit while also limiting hurt feelings. People forget how difficult newborns can be and your "help" isn't always as helpful as you think.

Just why. Why question it? What makes her an expert on belly size? This is my 4th pregnancy and I have zero concept of how big a belly "should" be at any stage of pregnancy. "Congratulations!" would have been an appropriate response from your new coworker.

DS was up at 5am this morning kicking the rails of his crib on the wall we share. I need more coffee.
He also had an eye appointment. Since I have a history of issues we've had him seen a couple of times. So far so good. His vision is great and we don't have to go back unless we have concerns.
I am also starving this morning.

People are assholes! I got that response from people too. I just showed early with both of my pregnancies. We all have different body shapes and sizes and pregnancy should not give someone the right to comment on our bodies.

I would murder MH for doing that though. My food is sacred.

I hope you found something else delicious for breakfast! I ate a cookie and cheese fries. Super healthy. They were good but I would have preferred my leftovers. And MH had the balls to laugh at me for being upset! He said he thought it was his. I had half my meal left and his was just rice and a couple pieces of steak. I'm still mad.
