I went digging in the back of my closet this morning looking for some regular jeans that might still fit and I found some low rise jeans that, surprise! I could button. Then, I drank some water and, womp womp, I could not longer keep them buttoned. I'm only 13 weeks and haven't buttoned (and lately zipped) my pants in at least 2 months. I was about 17-18 weeks before I had to start wearing maternity clothes. #STMproblems

I’ve been MIA a lot lately. I’m super busy at work. I’ve been in charge of having my IT team rewrite an application. (My first rewrite project) and we will have deployment in the next three weeks. So I’ve been having a hard time being on. I hope everyone is doing great

Does anybody else completely crash by 6pm? I feel great in the morning and afternoon but by 5-6 I am completely drained.

The monitor picked up some contractions but not enough to be a problem I guess. Funny enough (since I'd never heard of it before today) the nurse said I must have an irritable uterus. Bed rest at least until I see my doctor next week. I'm supposed to call or go back if it gets worse. It's so annoying! And you can't follow conventional recommendations of calling if you have more than 6 contractions in an hour (or whatever the recommendation is). You just have to follow your instincts and decide when you think things have change enough to be concerned. Some nurses thought I'd go into labor any day with all the contractions I was having during routine NSTs for GD and others never batted an eye.
I hope it continues to be nothing concerning.
Thank you, I hope so too.

I’ve been super lucky being able to work from home this pregnancy. I typically take a quick nap over my lunch break which saves me in the evenings. However, I’ve been super swamped at work lately which has prevented that from happening.

notmoose I hope the BH calm down for you. I have heard of irritable uterus before, it's a real thing. It's got to be annoying to deal with them that frequently though. Hang in there.

Our current center told me this afternoon they would have an infant spot for us. I was so relieved, I cried and hugged the director.

It is now 7:30 and I haven't heard anything from H that he is on his way home yet. We like to eat dinner together, but I am getting hangry. I already fed DD.

I go to bed at 6:30 on work nights. It takes me an hour or so to fall asleep though. On nights where I don't work the next day I usually am in bed around 7:30 lol.

Feeling somewhat better today. Little man has been using my cervix as a punching bag this morning. It feels....odd. I had a tiny bit of pink spotting this morning. I'm not too concerned since the baby is moving and I feel ok so I'll wait until Friday to mention it unless something changes/there's more. I've had pinkish spotting a few times too. Now that the kicks are feeling much stronger, it's obvious my cervix is also a frequent punching bag :/ I hope the spotting stops

We leave tomorrow for 6 days to visit FIL and his new wife and we're taking the long way since we're stopping to pick up my new loom and it's going to be 9 hours and uggggh. Plus we're driving separate. I plan on making H drive the car with the toddler. Mwahahaha. I hate the day we leave for trips though, bc I always have so much to do. Wash diapers, clothes, clean, pack, make sure all the food that will spoil gets thrown out, unplug appliances, etc, etc. It's exhausting.

We're going to tour another DC today and then hopefully make our decision and get a spot reserved by next week. This is kind of hitting me, like, it's really happening. 😲

I don't have a UTI, which oddly I was wishing for because it'd be an easy fix. I go in tomorrow to see my doctor.
If I'm not laying on my left side I am having a lot of BH. On my left side it's less. Any good t&ps y'all can spare would be awesome. I'm trying to stay positive but I'm scared.

I'm trying to give up my Starbucks habit to save money. It's probably healthier for me anyway, but I miss it.

We enrolled at our 2nd choice DC this week! It definitely makes it feel even more real! We’re on the waitlist for our 1st choice. Hoping a spot opens up there by November, but it’s looking like it’ll be January or February 2019 before we can get into our 1st choice.
