I stuck to target and old navy for maternity clothes the first time because I'm cheap. All I've bought so far is pixie pants for work. In the spring/summer I'll switch to dresses. Old Navy has some cute ones. I'm 5' tall so I never have a problem with any clothing item being too short.

I had a horrible dream last night that wouldn't end, no matter how many times I woke up during it. I was 26 weeks and diagnosed with severe pre-e again. My OB said I needed to deliver immediately and he was the dr on call. I said OK, but cried the whole time about baby being too small and not wanting to lose her. I wasn't progressing during the induction at all, so it lasted for days. And right before I was going to deliver, my OB's shift ended and I became hysterical. I may never sleep again. 😯

I got some cute shirts for work last pregnancy from Zulily for cheap. I did get burned on the dress I ordered from there and they have a no returns policy, but they did at least refund my money.

I'm sorry PennyCandy. That's the worst. I hope you two are able to resolve things today. Omg pbandjelly. That's a terrible dream.

goldenbird , as a fellow short person, i've discovered that when you get pregnant enough, you can suddenly wear non-maternity stretchy maxi dresses because your bump will lift the front up off the ground enough so you don't trip over it.

pbandjelly, that sounds awful. It would take me a long time to recover from a dream like that. I'm sorry.

I got an email from stitch fix that they were waiving my styling fee, so I went ahead and ordered a box of maternity stuff. I actually know my stylist (married to a friend from HS), and she picked out great things for me! It's a bit pricier than I might pick out on my own, but for a few things (dress, shirt, and maybe pants I'm keeping) it's worth it. All high quality stuff.

I forgot about this haha. I have a pic of me at 39 weeks in a maxi, but I still had to use safety pins to bring the neckline up a bit.

Gap's maternity v-neck tops are nice and long. I got a few the other week and they haven't shrunk either.
Trying to trick myself into going to the gym. I feel so sluggish today.

I should add a little background for the dream. I was diagnosed with severe pre-e at 32 weeks and delivered DS at 33 weeks. He's 20 months now and perfectly healthy and doing everything he should be for his age. A good friend recently delivered her baby at 26 weeks, and thankfully both are doing great. Both have been on my mind lately, so that may have caused the dream.

I had my a/s today and baby girl looks perfect! It turns out that I have an anterior placenta so she's sitting nicely tucked in behind it. She was moving all around during the scan but at least now I know why I haven't been able to feel her. I'm so relieved!

I ordered a few pairs of jeans from Motherhood. They were 30% off and free shipping when you spent $79. 3 pairs for $90 seemed like a decent deal.

Heading home from my trip tomorrow (thank god). Unfortunately DD1 fell and split her chin open and so she is at the UC with DH getting stitches (likely they are still waiting for doctor). It must be bad as my husband always thinks things are NBD. I wish I was there but DH is a super calm guy and probably better at handling this than me so I know she is in good hands.

I feel like splitting your chin open as a young kid must be a right of passage. I know a lot of people with a small scar of some sort on their chin, myself and H included. It sounds like she's in good hands.

pbandjelly that is so true. I have a little chin scar too. She is getting f the stitches as soon as her chin is numb I guess. She is in good spirits because they said she could still go to swim lessons tomorrow night.

Sounds like she's in good hands and will get all the snuggles from her mama soon.

I hope it's an easy recovery catspajamas2. DD fell and bit under her lip 1.5 years ago and needed stitches. MH freaked out but I managed to stay calm. You can't see her scar unless you look reaaaaaaally close and it wasn't as awful as my internal freakout imagined

I have been having the worst reflux. I need to remember to bring it up with my OB at my appt on Mon Ugh, ditto. I haven’t been drinking enough water because of it. Last pregnancies I had to be on meds to control it, but that wasn’t until 3rd tri. Have you tried apple cider vinegar? I’m too chicken.

My water intake has been slacking the last week since it's gotten worse too, which is also making my headaches worse
