So I'm feeling little twinges of discomfort where baby is located. Nothing painful, but just a gentle twinge. It's way too early for me to feel movement but I'm not sure what it could be.
ETA - I'm 13w4d right now

ETA - I'm 13w4d right now I would probably just chalk it up to muscles/ligaments stretching. I’ve found each subsequent pregnancy to be more uncomfortable, earlier in.

DH and I are both off. We sent DD to daycare so we can clean up. My lower back is not okay with cleaning 😂

ETA - I'm 13w4d right now I'd also say ligaments. Just stuff starting to stretch and expand. I started feeling them at 12 weeks exactly.

Maybe I’m just feeling the stretching more on one side.

I’m already feeling crotch pressure, only 19w 😭 It was really bad with DS, he was such a big boy. I remember crying when the pool closed after Labor Day because it was the only place I felt comfortable, that was at 7m. I don’t remember that painful pressure with DD, but she was much smaller.
Anatomy scan is tomorrow morning!!! Maybe we’ll get some idea how big this baby is on track to be. That’s when we found out DS was already on track for around 90th percentile and he was born at 89th for weight (95th+ for height and head).

I'm finally getting back in the groove of cooking over the last few weeks. It's a good thing, and MH is happy about it.

My AS is scheduled for Thursday morning at 21w 2 days. I now have a very important work meeting that has come up at the same time. The U/S tech at my practice is leaving for vacation on Friday for a week and a half so I think rescheduling is really unlikely. She is hard to get scheduled with even under the best circumstances. I’m going to have to ask my boss to handle the meeting on my behalf which is really bumming me out. Anyway, no point to this other than I am lying here in the middle of the night worrying about it. First world problem as always.

Sorry catspajamas2 that sounds stressful. I find it difficult to balance out all of the medical appointments with work stuff. :/

Thanks catladymeow. If only I could get a 10pm OB appointment, or Saturday! I keep reminding myself that lots of people don't have access to prenatal care or sound employment so I'm lucky. I think the insomnia is just making me a little extra crazy.

I had my ultrasound last Thursday and baby seemed good. wouldn't show us it's face except for a few seconds (kept putting it's hands up there).
I called and got the results yesterday and baby looks perfect, amniotic fluid, placenta, cervix look good. Baby is transverse and measured at my original due date (7/21) but since it's only 2 days idk if they'll change it back from 7/19.
I'm very relieved and happy.

DS1 had a party at 3:30 this morning so he didn't want to get up (neither did I.) He said "Bye. Bye. No thank you." when I went to get him this morning. Between that and the snow and negative temperatures this morning it was hard to leave the house.

DD started a new thing. When I drop her off at daycare she has to grab my belly, rub it, kiss it and tell her baby sister that she loves.
It’s the sweetest thing ever. DD is 3.5.

Mine is really in to telling baby brother that she loves him, and whispers in to my belly button, which cracks me up. It's good that she's so sweet, because she also observes "your tummy is getting bigger, mom" just about daily.

I hope this baby is as cute as she imagines or I’ll have a disappointed big girl.

I think I'm finally getting back in the dinner making groove. But if something feels, smells, or tastes just the tiniest bit off... I can't eat any more.
We had taco salads tonight. I took a bite and it was like hard/chewy meat 🤢 and I couldnt. I gave it to MH and didn't eat anymore.

DD (5) has been rubbing my belly every day when I pick her up from preschool and asking about her baby brother. She's planning all the stories she wants to read to him and has been kissing my belly
She felt some kicks this weekend too (I'll be 23w Thur) and she's the only one to feel an outside kick so far. Most if the stuff I'm feeling is super low and focused towards my bladder, so that's fun
She did get a look at my stretch marks the other day, asked about them, and told me I should put them away, so she's balancing it out a little

I have an appointment at the doctor today and I am feeling anxious about it. I'll feel better once we hear the heartbeat again. It's been a few weeks.

I've figured out that my nausea and indigestion is somewhat related to how much sleep I got that night. Between H throwing elbows my way, then sleeping in the middle of the bed, and DS waking up at 3:30 to talk to himself, I'm exhausted and feeling crappy. It doesn't help that it's cold and rainy. Sorry kid, this morning will be extra cartoon morning.

not a good morning in the vvvvvfee household. DS2 has been having insane tantrums lately over minor random things, and this morning i had to wrestle him to get him dressed and then after he just kicked and screamed on the floor and ripped his clothes off. lots of yelling occurred and this led to DS1 telling me not to be mean to DS2 and trying to comfort him, which made me feel like a total shitbag. :/
i stopped and got myself a decaf latte (and a donut) and here's hoping it doesn't give me heartburn. :S

So H and I saw baby for quite a while on Saturday night in the ER. The ultrasound tech took pictures of everything. Said baby was about 15 weeks instead of 14 +2 I know it’s not a big deal, but we got a big shot of down there. “Look like baby is sitting on a glass table!” We definitely did not see any boy parts. I’ve been trying to not feel one way or the other but I have been totally thinking this one is a girl and that didn’t help lol

My back hurts today, which is odd. I hardly ever have back pain even when pregnant. I'm considering going out to by a heating pad for work.
And now my belly is feeling tight and uncomfortable too. What is up with me today?
