I would really love to go into labor anytime after 39 weeks, but I have this feeling I'm going to go late. I almost wouldn't mind going a few days late and having an April 1st birthday. We're thinking of honoring DH's grandpa with this baby's middle name, and my late grandpa's birthday was April 1st, so it would be nice to honor both of them that way.

I’d really like to be a week early so my kids birthdays have more space between them. I’m due April 25 and DD is May 6.

My son was born at 40+2. My due date this time around is April 7 but I would love an April 1 baby!

Oh. While I’m putting things out to universe I’d like to also cross off Mar 24 as a baby date. I am planning DS’ party for that day and I’d like to be there. Thanks universe.

Go to get my NST.
Nurse: you’re not in labour are you. Nope Nurse: ok, not contracting or anything. Nope. Ok good.
Well then. Thanks?

Like...do you really expect me to be here and chill enough for you to monitor me if I were in labor? I'm pretty sure everyone would be able to tell, my friend.

Like I just slowly waddle up, alone, in no hurry and you think I’m in labour? Cool. There must be some very calm moms here. Lol

polson. Oh I’m definitely having some BH ones now. One came and she was like “are you in any pain?” .... no? Am I supposed to be? Baby’s also shifting a bit when I have them so the monitor isn’t picking it up right. Ugh.

😡 just checked patient portal and I tested positive for GBS I was GBS+ with my first. It was really NBD. Ya I know in the grand scope of things it's a very little blip. I was just hoping that I'd not have any needles/IV. My hospital doesn't do a routine saline lock, but I guess that's not an option for me anymore.

They just make note of it on your forms and they’ll hook you up to an IV when you’re in labour. Doesn’t really affect labour positions much. They can also give meds easier if the IV tube is already in (just in case you want).

I want an epi pretty much as soon as I walk in so that wasn't a concern for me.

So it's been in the high 6O°F's all day, and this morning I took the kids to a playground 9-11:30. Home for lunch/nap, then out to another playground 2:30-5.
I had to pee 3x at the first playground, and the bathrooms are locked for winter, so I peed in the bushes. Not my fave when there's no leaf cover.
This afternoon I abstained from water so I wouldn't have to pee.
I AM EXHAUSTED. Apparently 5 hours of chasing my children around playgrounds is too much. I sort of anticipated being able to sit and watch for awhile, but since it is school vacation week, there were tons of bigger kids and mine needed more intervention.
Cannot wait to get in bed.

When I was in labor with M, I wasn't 100% sure until they did a NST. I was like, hmm, this might be it... and I had childcare available and MH came home, so we just went to the doc's office to check.
They were like, ummm, yes, that's real labor. Go to the hospital within two hours, thanks.

I secretly hope this baby is born on 4/18/18. I’m due 4/21 and I’m not sure I can convince my Dr to let me go that late with GD but DD’s Birthday is 6/15/15 and I like the matching🙈

Both my older kids have "fun" birthdays. My oldest's birthday is 7/11's original business hours (7/2/11) and I drank A LOT of Slurpees his pregnancy; #2's is 5/19/15, so the same backwards and forwards. We're looking at 4/17/18 this time, so nothing super fun.

I got my new overnight bag today do I can start packing.
And we took advantage of the nice weather and our power going out for an hour and installed the infant car seat bases so that's one thing off the list.

I have had two babies and I still think it's BS. Our bodies are being subjected to so much weirdness these days, and so many aches and pains. With #1, I knew, BAM, because it went from nothing to super painful and vomiting pretty quick. With #2, it was way more subtle. I am officially team call- and go-in. People get embarrassed because they go in and get told it isn't really happening yet, but like, I'd say there are much more embarrassing things in life than trying to be an adult who makes responsible medical decisions.

I only have to start induction before my EDD because of my hypertension, otherwise she'd have just let me go until whenever I'd naturally go.

My son is 1/28, but my daughter, husband, and I are 12/30, 4/30, and 1/30... It's kind of nice that there's little likelihood of this babe being born on the 30th of a month otherwise my son would be super left out. Hahahaha.

I agree. I only knew I was in labour because my water broke. I never met the 5-1-1 rule and my first hour of timing I was in transition basically so I have no idea what to expect this time and feel like a moron.

I can’t believe you guys are packing bags already. I think I’m one of the latest due dates here. I’m going to be so jealous when your babies start arriving.

I went through the clothes totes today & got the newborn & 0-3 stuff out so I know what things I need to buy to fill spaces. I definitely only need a coming home outfit and a pack or two of socks. That's about all I've done to fully prepare for when this kid comes out in 55 DAYS.

I also only knew I was in labor with DS because my water broke first. Contractions did not start until after my water broke. I am worried I won’t know I am in labor this time either, but I am probably getting induced for GD and BP, so it might not matter.

With DS my GD was completely diet controlled and my induction date was set for 2 days after my due date. So like Rama said if you are diet controlled you it might be a possibility.
