katietopaz, I hope you had a good nights rest on your new bed! clementine, I am glad the baby started moving after having the cereal. I have had several of those moments and I hate them. snowmoon, I am sorry about the crappy sleep you had last night. I hope you can make it through your 12 hour shift and then are able to rest. Maybe you can squeeze in a catnap at lunch. I am sorry for everyone that had a rough nights sleep last night. I actually slept decent last night. I only woke up to use the bathroom 2 or 3 times rather than the million times I have been waking up the last few nights. I am so over the aches and pains. My back, legs, hips, everything have been hurting, and my feet have started swelling. I think DS is coming down with a cold...ugh. I hope it doesn't get any worse than what it currently is, I don't want to take anymore time off of work if he can't go to daycare.

I just realized that if I go to the same gestation as I did with my DS, this baby would be born April Fool's Day/ Easter Sunday, which is hilarious to me. I know it's unlikely though and I really hope I don't go that long. My due date is the 27th (although my ob thinks it is the 29th). I'm pretty much positive I'm going to have an April Fools/Easter baby. Womp. My induction is 3/29 At 6:30pm, I am also convinced I'll have an April Fool's kid.

When my DD was born, they had me go in to be induced at 8:30pm and when my dr came in the next morning she ended up breaking my water. If that happens I don't think they will let you go more than 24 hours due to risk of infections. I will say though 3/30 is an awesome day for a birthday, since that's my birthday

Pretty sure I just lost some of my mucus plug. Google tells me this can mean labor will start in hours, days, or weeks... so I guess I’ll just wait patiently.

The hospital I'm going to will probably let me labor as long as I can tolerate before increasing the interventions, so I could see myself laboring through induction for the 29th/30th, breaking my eater late 30th/early 31st, and having the kid actually get here on the 1st. I mean, I hope not. But there's something about April Fool's that just feels like the icing of the cake with this pregnancy.

Rama My mom is an April fools baby - and she’s pretty amazing! Plus April 1 is also Easter this year - so that could be cool, too - even if you don’t celebrate it!

I feel like all the STMs I know went three days late. DD was a due date baby so I have high expectations... and three days after her due date is MIL’s birthday. If they end up sharing a birthday I may legit die bc it’s all I’ll hear about until the end of time.

With DD I started losing mine on a Friday and went into labor that following Monday. It's so frustrating because it can mean nothing or something but I hope it means something for you!

I feel like I'm setting myself up for disappointment thinking this baby will come around when DD1 did at 39 weeks. Easter is a few days after my due date so it wouldn't be the worst thing if she comes a few days late I just don't want to go a week or two and have to be induced.

DS was born on Thanksgiving. I am kind of sad that this child will not be born on a holiday. This child has avoided almost all of the family birthdays in February so far. If I wasn't high risk and told that I will be delivering by 39 weeks my hope was that this child would be born on March 14 (Pi Day) that would have been the same point in pregnancy 39+3 as when DS was born.

I can't decide whether it would be AWFUL to have DD on his birthday or kind of deliciously evil to bust up his drama train and steal his birthday, lol.

My son was born at 40w and my daughter at 40+6.
I admit that I really hope I don’t go too far past my due date. Ugh. I’m tired.
With an EDD of 3/12, I wouldn’t mind a pi day baby, though...
3/15 is the anniversary of my mom’s death, and the Ides of March, which might be nice to have a happy memory take over. Or maybe it’d be weird? Who knows.

My due date is Apr 1 and let me tell you - everyone thinks that's hilarious. "Oh is this all just an April fools joke?" "Oh haha, and then you'll tell us this is all a joke?"
Yes, assholes. Clearly a joke. I've really loved faking all the extra stress and fucking 8000lbs I've gained. Super committed to this joke. Eye. Roll.

I just don't want this baby to be born on DS' birthday - and I don't want to be in the hospital for that day. I want them to have their own days and I want to spend my little guy's birthday with him. I was just talking about this on GD but the kid has been excited for his birthday since September.

I’ve been having hot flashes with dizzy spells and a slight headache since yesterday. I don’t feel like I’m over doing it but am told to take it easier than I am. Going for a nap now.

DD was born at 39+1 and I’ve decided this one will be at least that early. I can’t imagine going much longer than that. I was so miserable and ready.

Edit - I’m 38+1 right now.

I just want to make it past March 12th (I'll be 37 weeks 5 days) because we got tickets to take DD1 to see Daniel Tiger live as a last thing for us to do before baby comes and I would be so sad if I couldn't go.

DS was born at 41w6d. NO. I've already informed my OB that will not be happening again, thankyouverymuch. She was agreeable.

Leaf 🌱, I'll keep my fingers crossed that the baby isn't born on your mils birthday. I wouldn't want to hear about it forever either.

Not weird.

I am still saying this kid can wait till 41.5 weeks to come. I reserve the right to change my mind when I get closer lol. Being 37 weeks of freaking me out tho, I like to be overprepared!

ArielMermaid DS was born at 39+1 too! Just twenty-five minutes shy of midnight, which was a pain because our insurance at the time had us paying for the hospital stay by the day, effective once the baby actually arrived. So we paid $1000 for that 25 minutes. ovenrack That six inches of mattress space felt like a whole new world! I'm honestly more excited about that than the comfier mattress.
