polson, I’m glad that the surgeon was reassuring and seems to have a pretty good plan in place. filingjointly, I hope your bed rest is short. I can’t imagine having a 2 yo and a 4 yo to keep out of mischief while being told you need to rest.

I'm super annoyed at the Gestational Diabetes person at my clinic. She essentially accused me today and last week of not watching my carbs. Bitch, if I was doing a free-for-all, I wouldn't be this stressed out.

I'm glad the surgeon was more reassuring polson. And please don't apologize. You are dealing with something stressful and we are here for you to vent as needed.

I had an OB appt this morning that was with the nurse practitioner and it was so frustrating. I brought up my almost daily headaches and two elevated blood pressure readings from last week and she just brushed them off. She didn't even know how many weeks I was and thought I was only going to be 34 next week when I'll be 36. I feel like she just rushed through the appt because after I checked in one of the nurses from the back checked in to see her and told them she was squeezing her in so I think she just rushed through me to see her co-worker.
And then she told me I should have scheduled my appt for next week with my OB even though I tried last month when I scheduled and he was booked a month out. So I'm annoyed I have to see her next week but I scheduled my last 4 appts and only one are with her.

polson what kind of pants are you wearing? Maternity pants have always and will always make me sick and give me heartburn. If I wear just larger sweatpants or lounge pants that sit under my belly, I feel better. I just can't handle any pressure. I actually think that's why I feel crappy today now that I think of it. Just something to try maybe? polson and cp3 why are so many of our care providers being such dicks?? I'm sorry for the appointments you both had.

Rama and cp3 seriously what is with everyone lately?! i hope you both have minimal contact with them from here on out. cornpop that did cross my mind and it does seem to be worse with my over the belly pants. hopefully only about 2.5 weeks to go with them and they will be out of my life forever.

My baby has hiccups in the daily. The last two nights in a row, when I'm laying down and relaxing, I swear I can feel it practice breathing. J just came downstairs and said he could see it. I consulted google which tells me it's totally possible to see and feel. This never happened last time! Pregnancy is a trip, guys.

I saw my midwife today. I love her. I should be switching around and seeing all sorts of midwives, because it’s not likely that she’ll be at the hospital or on call when I go into labor (unless it happens to be a Tues or Friday).
But I’ve liked everyone I’ve gone to there, but my midwife is my fave, and we talk about all sorts of stuff. So I don’t care.

Catching up.... Sorry about the crappy providers. Why can't they just be nice?!? Hugs polsonfilingjointly t&p that baby stays put and you can survive the next few weeks. ovenrack I wish I knew how to Facebook. I requested to join the BirthTube group. Is that what I do to be able to watch? I am actually having less heartburn, does that mean baby has dropped? Also starting to feel pressure and sensations down in my pelvis for the first time. I feel like leatherpants with "Record This" but it was stool softener & laxatives that I bought. Also I wanted to take my tit back when I saw you said you were ready for the mud of spring. No. Am not ready for March. I'm really feeling the time and freaking out that I'm not gonna get stuff done. I feel like DH is dragging his feet. 😒

I over did it today. I swear I was having contractions on the drive home from the grocery store. I’m just been laying around drinking water (as much as I can with a 2 year old) and I still feel like I got hit by a truck. I feel like I can’t relax or get comfortable because the baby is doing gymnastics in there. Take a break kid.

alwayscheese, yeah! I think she goes through and approves people for the group every couple days? I’d recommend turning off group notifications and turning off having them in your newsfeed - there are kind of a lot of posts, IMO.

I'm playing some catch-up after a busy day. I'm just dumbfounded at some of the terrible (at best, awful AF bedside-mannered) providers you ladies are dealing with. Hang in there these last weeks and months, I hope you only have to deal with them minimally. filingjointly I'm so glad they were able to stop the contractions and get baby settled. I can't imagine trying to do bedrest with two small children running around, I'm sorry. Do you have any friends or family you can lean on to help with them?

I feel like I'm having a hard time staying caught up in our randoms thread lately. polson I'm glad that your appointment today provided you with some reassurance. It sounds like there's a good plan going forward. Continued hugs. ❤ Rama Thanks for getting it. I wish I could just shut of my thoughts and worrying. cp3 Sorry you had to deal with that NP today. How awful of her to act the way she did.

We kept with our basically annual tradition of buying a piece of furniture President's Day weekend. This year it was a new bed - I did take the advice someone here gave of getting a mattress protector. It came today and friends. I'm so excited to sleep on it tonight. Not only is it insanely comfortable, but we upgraded from a full to a queen and I cannot wait to NOT free-Willy DH when I have to roll over in the middle of the night.
It does sit a few inches higher than our old bed, so I know I'm going to have issues getting into bed without just flat running into it after half-asleep MOTN bathroom trips.

No sleep to be had here. DS was tossing and I was in his room 3 times before midnight. I brought him to bed and I finally fell asleep around 2. Up at 4:30 for no apparent reason and my alarm was ringing at 6:00. I'm working a 12 hour shift today but I might not make it.

I had a minor freak out last night. I hadn’t felt baby move much all day and even when I was laying on the couch around 9 he was pretty still, which is when he’s usually most active. So I start poking and prodding and changing positions and freaking out. I drank some cold water and he did move a bit, but still not his usual. And then I had a tiny cup of cereal with milk and he had an all out dance party for the next hour while I tried to go to sleep. So 😍 but also 😑.
MH and I have been trying out each of our potential names every day so far this week. So far I think it’s ruled out one name for me, so I suppose it’s helping.

It’s taken me a while to catch up here, as well. Sorry about everyone’s crappy providers. I know everyone has bad days, but sometimes I just don’t understand why some people choose to work with the public. polson, I’m so glad you were able to get some reassurance from your most recent appointment! filingjointly, boo for the bedrest, but hopefully it’s short lived. Also hoping your kids can keep it chill while you’re bed resting for these next few days. alwayscheese the other day, I bought stool softener, tucks, flushable wipes, overnight pads, dermoplast, and a pack of cheap large underwear. And yogurt. Thank god for self checkout. snowmoon, sending you lots of energy today!

Yesterday we went on an outing with my mom group. I walked a few miles then went to work yesterday afternoon. My feet and legs were killing me by the end of the night. I slept like crap and still feel totally exhausted. I should probably not do that again.

I had high expectations of exercising the whole time but I should know myself better than that. Yesterday I was organizing a kept reaching kinda back beside me into a box and it made my upper arm SO sore.😰 I really need to do some basic stretches or something because that's not normal.

DH decided yesterday that he wanted to get his car serviced today, so DD and I had to bring him to work. My back has been really hurting since last night...so I'm really hoping DD doesn't give me a hard time today at speech.

I just realized that if I go to the same gestation as I did with my DS, this baby would be born April Fool's Day/ Easter Sunday, which is hilarious to me. I know it's unlikely though and I really hope I don't go that long.

I didn't get much sleep last night between having this horrible carpal tunnel and both of my DD's sleeping badly. Hoping this days goes quickly. Is it really only Wednesday? 😩

I know it's unlikely though and I really hope I don't go that long. My due date is the 27th (although my ob thinks it is the 29th). I'm pretty much positive I'm going to have an April Fools/Easter baby. Womp.

I just feel like I've hit a wall. I know I have the same complaint every day but damn! I went from feeling like a million bucks and working out and being almost 100% myself to being completely incapable and exhausted and dead like the flip of a switch. I went to bed at 8:30 last night because I was nearly in tears from being so tired. At least I slept OK. I have no idea how to survive the next month.

I'm sorry that so many of us are in that later stage of pregnancy where sleep and being active are just...uncomfortable. Hang in there, friends. yianna The new bed was super comfortable to sleep in! The support on my hips is wonderful, but I think my back is adjusting to the new mattress since it was a little sore when I stood up. Also, the extra space that comes with a queen size over a full 🙌 polson Thank you for thinking of me! The headaches are mostly gone, I just seem to get the start of one if I haven't been drinking enough water. I'll still bring it up at my checkup this week, but I'm not as worried as I was.
