MH is sick so he put M (2) to bed and I took H (4) to Valentine storytime at the library (MH usually takes him every Tuesday) and I AM TIRED. He got grumpy so I carried him on my shoulders on the way home (it’s only 2.5 blocks) and halfway home he declared a need to poo RIGHT NOW.

Cut to: a very pregnant lady with a preschooler on her shoulders, RUNNING.

I am so tired.

nuggetrn. i’m glad your symptoms aren’t severe enough to warrant an immediate induction and you get a little bit more time to prepare. it sounds like you are in good hands

my u/s with the mfm didn’t really provide anymore answers at this point and i don’t feel like i’m handling this very well at all. they were able to tell me that they couldn’t see any healthy adrenal tissue at this point and that it is slowly growing, but that could just be because the cyst is displacing it and not because it is gone. they are now thinking along the lines of some sort of an andrenal hemorrhage or possibly a lymphangioma, and the chances of neuroblastoma are pretty slim. i am going today for an mri so they can try to get some better images of what’s going on. i’m hoping baby cooperates and is still enough for this happen. i will have an appointment the the mfm next week along with a pediatric surgeon to go over results and to figure out what the plan after delivery is. right now they aren’t thinking they will need to induce and the plan is going to be to get me to 39 weeks. i hope i’m not bringing down the thread with this, but didn’t want to make a new one. i am staying off the google because i just don’t even know what to google at this point. i’m just scared and crossing my fingers this will be something that they will have to just monitor after birth and hopefully will resolve on it’s own but my mind is having a hard time reigning in the worst case scenarios. i just want a healthy baby. ugh sorry for the verbal diarrhea.

polson a billion hugs, friend. Staying off of google is the bes lt idea. I hope the MRI gives you clear (good) answers and your doctors come up with a great plan of action. I’m sorry this is causing you so much stress. You honestly seem like your handling this really well so please give yourself the grace and space you need to process all of this. I’m sure it’s really hard to find the middle ground between preparing yourself and avoiding needless worry.

I’ve had a cold or something for over a week and now it feel like I got punched in the face thanks to intense sinus pressure. I’m going to wave the white flag and beg my PCP for an antibiotic. I’m pretty sure it’s a sinus infection at this point since DD and DH started having symptoms after me and are both almost better.

DD is doing extremely well with potty training and hasn’t had any accidents in two days. I’m hoping she’s got the hang of it. I think we’ll keep using pull ups for trips out of the house and sleep for a bit but I’m surprised this has been relatively painless. Now to just prepare myself for a regression when #2 gets here 😬😬😬

All the hugs polson. I know we don't know exactly what's going on, but I did do a cursory Google search in your stead and came up with promising results for it being a temporary condition. All of the patients in the one study I read were all developing normally and otherwise healthy. I hope that brings you even a little bit of hope and relief. <3

Rama I am so so happy to read your update!! I am glad everyone in the office went to bat for you and I hope that the nurse is reprimanded appropriately and she realizes how much she screwed up. I would hate to think of how many other people havensuffered because of her carelessness!! Also HOORAY for getting to choose an end dare. That is seriously such a good feeling.

polson there is zero need to be sorry for anything you have to vent about or talk yourself through. I cant even imagine what you are going through.. I am so so sorry that you are still having to wait for answers. Praying for a cooperative baby for the scans ahead and ultimately for a healthy baby. Sending you so much love ♥♥

I'm still waking up nauseous but think it's just pregnancy related and not a stomach bug thankfully.

My growth scan went really well. Baby looks great. She is measuring a little smaller than average but they aren't worried. It's such a relief and totally different from DD1 who was always measuring big. DD1 was a small 6 pounds when she was born so I'm hoping this baby puts on a bit more fat in the next couple weeks so she is a little bit bigger when born. Unless things change I won't have another growth ultrasound just weekly NSTs until delivery. I have all appts scheduled until my date and it's getting so close. Eek!
