Fuuuuuuuuuuuck AnnPerkins. Absolutely nothing about that makes me even remotely more comfortable about those damn shots. I'm glad I don't have to start them for a few more weeks. Major dread. Hope your pain subsides quickly! I will be induced on 11/11 (39w) if I don't have him sooner. I was induced with DS at 34w3d since my water broke and my labor was only 1.5 hours. That means I could have an 11/11 baby, which would be really cool. But more likely I will have a baby closer to Halloween, although my doctor is assuming even earlier. He said it is a long shot that I will make it to 36 weeks which is October 21. DS's bday is just before Halloween. I don't want them to share birthdays. Fun fact, I have two separate sets of cousins (each brother/sister pairs) that share the same birthday and I was due on my grandma's bday but came 24 days late.

At my appointment, I also had more blood work drawn for the last step of genetic testing, the nurse found the heartbeat on the Doppler right away (which is so weird for me because I felt like they were always digging for it with DS), and I scheduled my anatomy scan. It won't be until I'm 21 weeks because I'll be out of town the week before when my OB usually likes to schedule them. Sighhhhhhhhh, we might as well wait until delivery to find out the sex. But not really. Omg AnnPerkins I can wait and be team green for myself, but I am not sure I can take you being team green, too!1! I would never do that to us.

roloma, take my review with a grain of salt...or formula, whichever is more appropriate for a giant baby when it comes to needles. The heating pad actually helped, I used it for about an hour. I'll keep you posted on tomorrow. Also, 24 DAYS LATE!?!?1?1!1

Yes, 24 days late! Ridiculous I know. My poor mother. I'm an old and I'm pretty sure it has been a while since they would ever let anyone go that long. She ended up with a c-section too because they said there were no signs I was planning to come any time soon. I was stubborn even then I guess.

I think it's a cute idea librarylady! I hope the shots get better AnnPerkins. That sucks birdsofafeather! blabbermouth free hot chocolate is definitely exciting! I didn't realize Halloween was such a popular holiday lol. I can't imagine 24 days late roloma! So my mom just spent an obnoxious amount of money on me at motherhood maternity and I didn't even leave with work pants lol. I did leave with a lot of bump bucks so I will go back for pants and the snoogle since they sell it there and I can use the bucks on it. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk

24 days late sounds like the epitome of hell. I wonder if they had the dates wrong? A big part of me hopes that is the explanation because no, NO, no one should ever be 24 days overdue. That is basically a whole month. NO.

My due date is Nov 1. Everyone keeps joking I'll have a Halloween baby. Ummm...both my kids were 12 days late and I was induced with both. My babies don't come on their own. I'm not expecting this baby till November 10-13ish depending on what day of the week it is. (Haven't actually Looked at a calendar)

My dad is really hoping this baby is a Halloween baby. DD is a 4th of July baby so he says he needs a pumpkin to go with his firecracker. I'd be ok with it since it's only a few days early. But omg no to being 24 days late.

If I have to be induced early because of the size of DD, it'll be from Monday 23rd October onwards. I don't mind if I have to be, just as long as she doesn't come to early as my parents are away for 2 weeks for the last week of September and first week of October, and I wouldn't be able to labour without my Mum and my Dads having DS! So stay in please DD! I went over with DS (only by 2 days) so I'm not to worried

I'm due 11/6, but my other children both came at 38 weeks (DD by induction, DS by himself). With twins they're saying between 36-38, so anytime after 10/9 is fair game...which means I'll get to dress up my monkeys for their first Halloween! 🎃

Twice today I confiscated penis drawings from my 10 year old students. And one drawing of a phallic ice cream cone called "Mr. Dick". I can't, guys. I don't think I'm going to make it 16 more days. The more I think about it, the more I dread going to work every day. Hang in there mama!

That is basically a whole month. NO. Just making it to 40w sounds rough to me. This is the thing of nightmares. I was told since I want to VBAC they'll hold off inducing me as long as possible. Like in the realm of 41+ weeks. They'll let you get to 42w at my office. Lolno.

I didn't think most practices would let you go over 41 weeks now? Or like 40 weeks and change.

Okay, I think I'm experiencing pregnancy rage! I have a friend and she's addicted to that EWG website that tells you what is in skin care products. Lately she has been going on about how sunscreen is going to give people cancer, and everyone needs to use whatever brands she recommends. It is driving me insane! A. I do trust the government to a certain extent to not certify products that are going to give people cancer. B. Lead also causes cancer, but there is still some in our drinking water, so how much of this chemical makes it carcinogenic? C. No one even says that zinc oxide in large quantities won't cause cancer! D. Stop using the word chemical in such a one-sided manner if you want me to believe anything Argh, SCIENCE! Use it! End rant, I needed to get it out so I can stop thinking about it all day.

I had DS one week after my due date. I kind of expected it though so it wasn't that big of a deal. My mom had me like 2.5 weeks after I was due.

blabbermouth I have a friend on FB that's like that. She just forces her opinion down people's throats all of the time and comments on random things, so it pops up on our timeline and then you can see her arguing with people through these random posts how these things are bad for you, this is how you should parent your child

librarylady- I took A to Janie and Jack and we picked out a newborn boy outfit. The clerk gift wrapped it and A gave it to H. That's how I told him. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I didn't think most practices would let you go over 41 weeks now? Or like 40 weeks and change. I'm sure there are a lot of factors that go into letting someone go or not go that long. I just know if you're a health, low risk pregnancy my doctors hold off inducing until after 41w. Hopefully I'll go into labor on my own and it'll be a moot point.

PSA for FTM, or any moms who haven't experienced Janie & Jack... you must check them out. I usually only end up buying off the clearance rack, because I can't afford to spend that much, but OMG- they have the cutest clothes ever! The quality is fantastic as well. www.janieandjack.com/Edit because typos happen Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
