you guys I am THAT person at work today. I mean that person who calls and leaves a VM and then sends an email 1 minute later being all "IN CASE YOU DIDN'T HEAR YOUR PHONE RING!" and repeat. Don't beat yourself up. I just sent an irritated chat message to a coworker who did not show up to a meeting this morning, only to then read my email and see she had earlier sent an apologetic email asking to reschedule because she was stuck in another meeting. Le sigh. Oh I'm loud and proud today. This shit needs to get done and it needed to get done yesterday and I'm pretty much on the war path. Gawd I can't wait until next week is over.

I just taught my almost 3-year old to vacuum. He did a pretty good job. Now I have both a roomba and a kid to vacuum for me, it's like having a maid service.

I'm feeling 95% better from 48hrs of upset stomach. I really want to eat all the things today (coffee, bacon, leftover beef and cabbage, pepperoni and cheese, beer) but I'm afraid it'll mess up my stomach again. grrr. So i've been living off fruit water, chicken and rice, and kombucha.

A real one. He uses it all the time. It's awesome. "R, can you please vacuum up this dog hair?" "R, I spilled some flour. Can you use your vacuum to clean it?" "R, please vacuum up the cheerios you spilled"

That was actually referring to the ones stuck in the bottom of the car seat as usually the dog has already eaten them if they are in the house. Car seat cheerios are nasty.

Hola, Nonnie, I used to lurk you guys.
Did anyone score any workhorses from the seconds sale? I had 4 in my cart, but I wasn't quick enough and they were sold out. I'm salty about it.

There's nothing better and worse than 2 snuggly kids in your bed before 6 am.

Hi. It's 8am. I'm already out of patience for my whiny toddler today. I plan on putting him up in his room shortly and hopefully he takes a looooong nap. I don't even care if bedtime is affected.

DS has the Todd Parr book 'Feelings'. One of the pages is the feeling "cranky" and the picture is a woman frowning. He always points to her and yells "Mommy!!"

Last thing I watched on Youtube was a playlist of Misterwives songs while deciding if I wanted to buy their album (I did). Oh, and a video of Wonder Woman easter eggs and references from the movie.

The last thing I watched on YouTube was almost certainly videos of garbage trucks. So many videos of garbage trucks.

I've decided that my new customer service rule is that when someone starts cursing at me, I no longer have to be nice. Especially when that someone is a very large man. Seriously y'all, the place I work also rents u haul trucks and it is THE WORST. It's nearly driven me to quit my otherwise happy job.

DH just asked me to print out a couple of copies of a form for him. I did this exact thing a few months back and he never took them, I just threw them away off of the counter a couple of weeks ago! Also, last time I wasn't sure which form he wanted so I printed both and he told me which one was wrong but I don't remember. Here I go wasting more paper!

I just parked next to a car at target that had 10 air fresheners hanging by the passenger door and at least 4 more on the rearview mirror. Plus some in the vents. I couldn't help but look to see if there was a dead body in there. Just tons of food bags and spilled food everywhere. Eww. Maybe if you cleaned the rancid shit out of your car you could save money (and your lungs) from buying so many air fresheners??
I wanted to take a pic but I forgot my phone.

Dear FIL,
WTF with forwarding the pregnant emotional lady and article about a kid, who happens to be the same age as your grandson, dying. Seriously? Don't.

My DH is having a crummy birthday. Not sure the period sex I have to offer when he finally gets home is going to do much to improve things. 😐

Car seat question. So J is 38/39 pounds, and like 39/40 inches. (Exact measurements with this kid are impossible, but he does have his 3 year check up next week). We have a britax advocate in my car and a scenera next in MH's jeep. The scenera next maxes out at 40lbs, the britax maxes out at 40lbs for RF'ing. He's still happily RF'ing and I'm going to keep him that way for as long as his seats allow. I just got a clek foonf for my car, and am moving the advocate to MH's jeep. Putting the scenera aside until M needs it.
Anyway, J has gained maybe 2 pounds in the past year. If he's 39 lbs now, he's got a pound left for RF'ing in the advocate- do I need to be worried about him going over 40 and me not noticing? Like a pound over isn't going to be a huge deal right? I'll flip the seat once I realize he's over 40. I'm sure I'm overthinking this, as I'm wont to do.
