The lawn mower won't start. Again. I just want to mow the lawn so I can move on with my day!

I am working on a project for a customer who own a business using goats for clearing brush/weeds. I'm learning more than I ever thought I would need to know about goats and their eating habits.

I love your new avatar and goats are awesome for clearing brush. I should borrow a couple for my backyard.

There is a job fair today at the local hospital. I was interested in going, but after looking at the job listings, most of it is for CNAs... nothing in my department.

It's pretty amazing actually. I'd send you her website, but it's not done yet. Lol. You already know her. I'll send you the info.

There is a job fair today at the local hospital. I was interested in going, but after looking at the job listings, most of it is for CNAs... nothing in my department. Are you going back to work? You could always just go to introduce yourself to the respiratory staff, maybe they would let you know if there is an opening. I'm thinking of putting my license on hold since I don't think I'll be going back anytime soon. I have friends that work at the hospital and let me know when internal postings start. The department manager knows who I am. When I bought Kiwanis Club Blueberries last year, she and her husband were the contacts. She knew my name and said they would be looking for PRN soon. I have applied for 3 jobs there since then and haven't heard anything. I'm going to need to go back to work, whether in respiratory or something else.

I can't not share a picture of my furry boys with all this goat talk. They're the best, and they've cleared our pasture right up.

OMG, milano, I always told MH that when we (someday) move to the country I didn't want livestock because we both work full time and wouldn't have time. But THOSE FACES. I want goats now.

They are pretty low maintenance! We let them out in the morning and then put them back in their pen at night with fresh water and a scoop of feed. Takes 5 minutes in the morning and maybe 15 minutes at night. And we can leave them for a couple days no problem. So you should get some one day

Goats are my favorite. My DH says I'm obsessed with them, but their little personalities are so much fun. I sold 3 today that aren't productive for us. I'm so sad to see them go, but I can't keep them all. One of them has been literal hell to keep in the fence so I'm excited that there won't be neighbors knocking on my door 5x a day telling me she is out.

My in-law's neighbor has a goat. They periodically find it on their back porch.

catlady22 Do you mean when they escape? We have 3-4 acres that are fenced and they range over the whole place. When one gets out it usually just stays right on the other side of the fence. They are herd animals so they like to stay together.

critter015 yeah wondering how far your neighbors were to know how far they would get away. That's good they mainly want to stay by the fence.

We live in a small neighborhood of homes that are each on 1-5 acres. We live on the street that is the main entrance for the neighborhood, so when the goats get out they are grazing the grass next to the street.

They're looking for an alternate name for love-tit to avoid anything that may have been copyrighted at the old place (because it's a legit registered business).
Should we suggest peen?
I can NOT remember why we call them that.

I can NOT remember why we call them that. Sit back while GrannySAK tells you a tale of yesteryear: Back in the very olden days of 2012, there was a place called The Bump. On The Bump, there was a quiet little board called Cloth Diapering. Each day imaginary friends from all different walks of life would gather in Cloth Diapering to air their weekly confessions, discuss poop catching receptacles for the tiny humans that lived in their homes, and laugh as a 50 year old man named Into-the-kitty threatened to shank every one who crossed him. At one point, The Bump introduced a little button that could be clicked on a post to show support for the poster's comment. This button was named a "love it". As classy grown women tend to do, they quickly renamed it "love tit". The name caught and all across The Bump posters would "tit" each other. Back on Cloth Diapering, however, a regular poster who once posted under her real name but is now know to most of you as chickypoo2468 shared an opinion most unpopular. You see, it seems that chickypoo hated the word tit. Couldn't we call it something else? What to call the tit? What to call the tit? Suddenly, like a lightbulb illuminating a dark room, an idea was formed. Even though the button would be known as the "love tit" site wide, on Cloth Diapering it would hence forth be called the "love penis". Over time, my children, the love penis would slowly be shortened to "peen". And to this day, 5 years and 2 forums later, we peen each other. And we peen with great pride. Never forget your history, CDers. Never forget. And now, we pour one out for MK.
