For anyone suffering from headaches, one of the ladies in my other mom group suggested I might be low on electrolytes, so I grabbed a gatorade yesterday and just drank it. Headache gone. I used to make my own homemade gatorade with lemon juice and himalayan salt, so I 'm going to try that again. First time in 3 days my head isn't throbbing and I'm all woooo

I got Chinese food and I'm pretty much in heaven. Egg rolls, egg drop soup, lo mein, and rangoons are the way to my heart. Plus leftovers.

Has anyone tried Natural Calm? I could use better sleep and as a pp said, magnesium is supposed to help headaches/migraines. . I love natural calm and take it every day to help with constipation. It does not make me feel calm or sleepy though.

I am an emotional wreck this week. My daughter’s teacher did something that was very small and insignificant in the greater scheme of things but really pissed me off. On top of that my children have effectively weaponized their hugs. I really need nobody to touch me for the rest of the night

I think magnesium is out for me. Let's just say pregnancy is not kind to my belly.

The cord for our moniter frayed and we noticed it last week. I took the main unit out of DD's room earlier this week and she just noticed. Queue losing her ever loving mind. She's 5.5yo
My MIL just called and left a message saying she was waiting for me to tell her when the kids have spring break (I told her when they were here for Christmas) because apparently she, FIL, her twin sister, and sister's husband are inviting themselves to our house. I am not in the damn mood for her shit

My DD had a melt down tonight while doing her homework because she was trying to sound out the word "outside" and insisted that it started with the letter a. 🙄

On top of that my children have effectively weaponized their hugs. I really need nobody to touch me for the rest of the night What did she do? The class is doing a sticker chart for kindness week. Yesterday my DD got 4 stickers on the chart but one of them fell off (from the middle of the row) and was lost sometime today. At pick-up my daughter was adding the two stickers she got today and noticed the missing sticker (I was there). My daughter asked if the missing sticker could be replaced and the teacher said “we aren’t doing this”. Cue losing of her shit and me being really annoyed they couldn’t just replace the damn sticker. The teacher is not a warm and fuzzy person and tends to be a little firmer with the kids than seems necessary for a bunch of 4 year olds so this just fed into my already wary feelings about her. So yeah a damn sticker chart is putting me over the edge. I swear I’m normally better than this at life.

catspajamas2 that’d upset me too. Just replace the sticker or not be so flippant and rude about it to the kid.

I started taking it again yesterday for headaches and haven't noticed a difference. The article said magnesium oxide was the type used in migraine relief, and Natural Calm is magnesium citrate, which is absorbed more efficiently. Don't know if the type makes a difference as far as headaches though. I have mag oxide supplements too, might try those next. What brand do you get? I looked on Amazon and there were so many different ones for different purposes i just gave up.

I feel like I'm co stably telling DS to be careful with me.

I have to get back to exercising and eating better. I am seriously upset about my body and it's affecting my mental health.
I spent 20 mins crying this evening because the maternity pants I bought (without trying on) wouldn't fit over my fat thighs.
I already have really bad self image/self esteem so pregnancy is even harder. I know it's worth gaining weight and I'm more than happy to be pregnant, it's just hard seeing my body like this. Especially since I JUST got to DS pre-pregnancy weight 2 weeks before I got pregnant this time.

catspajamas2 I don't blame you for being pissed about that. I am a preschool teacher and can't imagine telling a child that. :-(

catspajamas2 that would piss me off too. Those little kids are only 4, just replace the sticker. I would be sad for my DS if that happened to him.

It took me over 2 years to loose most of the weight and I was still 10lbs away from my pre pregnancy weight when I got KU. I'm trying to be more conscious of my food choices this time around and now that I'm in my second trimester and started getting my energy back I'm trying to be more active. Were you involved in a fitness program before this?

I have 2 pair of the same size from the same place and one I can barely get up and one i am constantly pulling up. It’s stupid.

I'm getting sick, and desparately trying to avoid it. I did the neti pot this morning to clean everything out, tea with honey and lemon for my sore throat, and now have a smoothie to try to get lots of vitamin C in. Ugh. I hate being sick when you can't take the good drugs!

Unfortunately none of them made great financial choices and I don't know that a hotel is even something they can afford. MH talked to his mom last night and said she needed to wait until he knows what's going on at work because he travels a lot and doesn't know if he'll be here. He's a pushover though and didn't tell her that nobody has ASKED US if they can come to our house and stay. MIL is crazy and lives in a fantasy world. He's afraid of being disrespectful because she cries when things don't go her way
