We had our anatomy U/S today and managed to stay committed to team green!
Baby looks great, very active, measuring right on track with the due date (!) and is head down (!). Both of the latter have never happened before. My kids are always skinny and breech. Plus he/she is on the other side of my bicornuate uterus. I don't know what to do with this baby! They are not doing anything I expect.

Fetal heart strip showed an active baby. As soon as I laid down, he started kicking.

DS1 used to constantly kick. I thought that this one started out being very active because I felt him very early on but he seems to sleep a lot and then moves around as soon as I start to really worry. Hopefully it means that he’ll be a better sleeper than the first one lol

DS was a pretty chill baby both in and out of utero. I've felt DD since 12ish weeks and she moves all the time. But DS wasn't a good sleeper regardless of how chill he was. Maybe she'll be an active baby and great sleeper.

Well I am getting my glucose test at 24 weeks. I am currently waiting for the blood draw. I regret the candy bar I had last night. Baby girl's heartbeat is 152. She was breech at the anatomy scan and she was hiding her face so I will be getting another one at 32 weeks.

Hola! We had an ice storm yesterday and I’m on day two of being home alone with the 3 year old. I’m ready to go back to work.

What are your guys' favorite snacks? I'm hungry but not sure what to eat lol Ooh yes let’s talk snacks. My current favorites on rotation are: apples (at room temperature), hot cross buns (I love it how they come out in shops months before Easter), peanut butter on toast, and hot chocolate (even though it’s so hot here at the moment). I did some baking with DD yesterday so I’m hoping to start having more home made stuff again. Another reason I can’t wait to move into our house, so I can use the kitchen while she’s asleep and not make too much noise.

Ah jeez, people on the internet with their opinions are so over the top sometimes huh? I just read an article about a woman who posted a video of her baby laughing at her dad tickling her and all these ‘experts’ telling the mum it is torture to tickle a baby and it gives them a stutter. WTF? Amazingly, we don’t all have stutters. And again, WTF??

"I want to be tickled" was one of my kid's first full sentences. Must be Stockholm syndrome.

What are your guys' favorite snacks? I'm hungry but not sure what to eat lol Me either, most stuff doesn't sound good I got some frozen fruit popsicles at Aldi and I've eaten a ton and some frozen fruit. I can't find many good looking veggies right now and I'm really craving a cucumber. I don't really want to eat a lot of meat and I was eating mixed nuts for protein but they haven't sounded great lately. Lightly salted popcorn has been good though. Also, hard boiled eggs. I need to make more in my Instant Pot tomorrow

I need to buy some snacks. I don’t keep many “snack” foods in the house but then I find myself eating too much other stuff. Need some healthy options. Mixed nuts sound good.

I did a dumb today. I slipped and fell on ice going out to my car this morning. I didn't hurt at first, but when I got to work I had pain across my belly. My coworkers started freaking out at me and made me go to the hospital to get checked out. Everything is good, baby is fine just hates the doppler, and the doctor said that my belly was probably hurting more because the muscles were already stretched. So now I'm home for the day, just took some tylenol and a shower and I'm going to cuddle with hubs.

Yikes Speedy. I'm glad your fall wasn't worse. Take it easy. Me too! I really need to get on my landlords case. My old landlord passed away suddenly this past summer and his brother took over and so far has done 0 for maintaining the place.

Glad that you are ok Speedy It stinks when something so simple can cause damage. I actually fell down running up stairs during the last pregnancy at around 6 or 7 months. With center of gravity shifting, we are more prone to falling.

Glad it wasn’t too serious Speedy and all is well. I fell about a month ago down my stairs and hurt my back a little bit mostly hurt my toe (broke it). But my H was freaked out and made me get checked out by OB, all was well but it is scary!

Definitely sore, but I think the excitement over the fact that I have a baby still in me at basically 17 weeks is doing something to temper that.

Ironically, I was just at my appointment and my dr said to call with any falls even if it wasn’t on the stomach. Better safe than sorry. The ice is horrible around here.., hopefully it melts this weekend!

yeah, here too. It wasn't so bad, but then we got 20 cm of light fluffy snow, so the snow on top of the ice that was already there was just enough to make my feet just go completely out from under me.
