4:50! That's what time Charlie woke up this morning! Now, I would have no problem with letting him fuss to get back to sleep even if it takes 20 or 30 minutes, but it wakes Josie, so by five I ran in there to get him. She still woke up, but she went back to sleep around 6. Busy day in the Guster house. Cleaning lady day and the handyman is coming over to do a bunch of little things in the house. School at noon and it's mh's late night at work, so depending on the state of my kitchen, I'll take the kids out to get dinner, probably. I'm still cooking just in case.

C and I are lying in bed watching Pepper Pig. I have an appointment this afternoon so FIL is coming over for a bit to watch the kids. Maybe I can sneak in a kid free Trader Joe run.

Amazingly, I'm not tired or annoyed about it, but it makes me question if he's getting enough sleep in general.

Last night that person was me. I get the worst sleep when i sleep with her because she constantly wakes up and asks for things.

Morning, all. I hope to finish up a job application sometime today, but that's the only major element on the schedule.
A friend posted about Oprah. I commented with, "she gave a great speech." Somebody replied, "Adolf Hitler gave great speechs too." So I had to shred him. What an ass.

Morning. Another crappy night and early wake up. I can feel a molar coming trough, so maybe that’s it. I am wondering when the other teeth are coming in. She’s 19mo and has 6 whole teeth 🤔. Probably going to Ikea this afternoon, nothing major, just need to get out of the house. Currently on my second latte of the day, craving caffeine like a mad men.

M woke me up at 3 saying he didn't feel good. Well he always tells me that. He can't tell hunger/tired/not feeling well apart. Well after listening to him breath for a few minutes i got up to check on him because it sounded off. He was burning up, i could feel the heat radiating off of him. 103 temp.. so I called in. I checked Jack and he just barely had a fever. But kept him home too. Would you take them in to the pedi? With me and my mom just being sick I'm worried tgey caught something. Matthew is coughing like crazy and it sounds painful. Dry, no drainage.

Good morning. Its a balmy 33 degrees out right now which is such a nice change to the freezing temps we had. I really want to go for a run but can't with my shoulder. I see the ortho tomorrow and have a thousand questions.
DH is picking C up from school today and I am going to pick up my Xrays for my appointment tomorrow and then a solo Target run for travel supplies. I am excited to go alone!

I am one to always take C to the pedi but I was scarred by constant strep and bronchiolitis so I always insist on a throat swab and a chest listen.

i'm sorry the boys aren't feeling well, @peach. I would probably wait to see how they are this morning before calling the ped.

Or if you or your mom had been diagnosed with strep or something, then I'd take them (I can't remember what your mom had). I hope they feel better!

Yesterday I pretty much ate an entire bag of mini donuts. Today I'm already going to town on a pan of brownies. So I'm killing it at trying to eat healthier.

If it doesn't come down with drugs, I'd take them this afternoon.

It's really labored and his fever just returned. I made an appointment. 2:30 is the earliest they can get us in.

He says he's in pain. My mom thinks she had the flu but was never tested. My throat still hurts so I'm wondering if my strep test was wrong.

FFTC: L has been asking to use the potty and I'm annoyed that my in-laws are realllllly pushing it. I should take her interest and start putting her on it, but it's so annoying cause every 2 minutes she asks to sit on it. It's such a pain to take off her pants and diaper so she can sit.

wineallthetime I’m certainly not going to entertain her by doing it all the time! I’m just surprised, ds didn’t show anything interest whatsoever until he was 3 or something, I guess girls really are earlier.

I think that's why L is intetested. I was lucky that C showed interest just after he turned 2 and was pretty easy to potty train. Hopefully I get lucky with L too, but not holding my breath lol

We're at the opposite end on potty training over here. S refuses, flat out. We've recently had her evaluated for developmental delays, and her motor skills come in at a two year old level, so I'm not surprised she's terrified of the potty. I'm hoping her occupational therapy sessions will help get us there before the baby arrives. DNW three in diapers!

As her therapist said, potty training and eating are two things THEY control completely. We're not pushing very hard because of that, but I do think I'm going to start putting her on the potty at least once a day whether she does anything or not. We've got to get this freaking out under control.

I’m craving it big time, but there’s nothing in the house.

ladystrat this is how I feel about food with ds. I feel weirdly jealous when people talk about having to limit snacks for their kids 😕.
