I wish my sinuses would go back to normal. It's driving me crazy. I've gone through an entire box of sinusX and I don't feel a bit better. I don’t know what sinusx is but could you have a sinus infection? Any time I've had a sinus infection I feel a ton of pressure to where I have a migraine. I had a lot of pressure a couple days ago but now it's not to bad and only a slightly worse than my normal daily headache. I just assume I would feel worse if it was a sinus infection. But I could be wrong.

We are having a staff retreat soon and I'm on a committee planning it. We're trying to come up with a gift for all the staff members. The retreat is at a camp so it's a "camp" and self-care theme. Staff is around 50 people, mostly females but a couple males. Budget is not very large (likely between $5-10 a person). In the past we've done water bottles, Target gift cards and candy, t-shirts, ect. There has been talk about tote bags this year. Any other ideas? Yoga mat? Exercise ball? Body scrub? Mindfulness for dummies, the small edition?

I have had a sinus infection that felt like a horrible headache/migraine and I've also had them where it's mostly just the congestion and slight pressure that won't go away. I will say that I know a ton of people here who's sinus' have been going crazy lately with this cold front. I know you aren't too far from me.

Like on your cheeks and forehead.

wineallthetime I love the fact that the kids go to bed early and we have the evening to ourselves. I’m a morning person, so like you I don’t mind early wake ups. But in my book early is like 06.30-07.00. Same.

I think I'll go to the clinic tomorrow anyway and see what they say. My ears are starting to tinge a little with pain so I think the congestion may have caused an ear infection.

nam2013 and anyone else with experience here, I think we're going to have to start feeding therapy for X. I guess I'm just looking for ideas. X will eat pouches all day long but hardly any solids. He pretty much sticks to tofu, pizza, and strawberries. Those are the only things he will reliably eat, and it doesn't seem like a texture issue but what do I know? Anyway, the pedi said if he wasn't doing much better by his 18 month check up (6 weeks from now) we'd probably need an evaluation. It's not like he's picky, he will try just about everything but almost never swallows it. Does any of this sound familiar?

But in my book early is like 06.30-07.00. This is me, too. Both are in bed asleep by 7:30; that free time at night is especially crucial to my sanity when DH is out of town and it's just me. They're up anywhere b/n 6:30-7:30 so that's fine.

I went yesterday for snow boots for B...did not find any, but came out with something for C, a bunch of hangers, and Liquid Plumber.

Well, N wasn’t faking it this morning. She has a fever and slept on and off from 11 to just now. Still says her head hurts. The ibuprofen must have kicked in because she has perked up a little and is eating a pb&j.
I had to call my dad last minute to come stay with her while i took H for his appt because she was asleep on the couch and miserable. H’s ears look great, so that’s good news.
My parents were supposed to babysit tonight while we go to a meeting. Trying to decide if I should skip and stay home or have them come.

Cute, Unicorn! I love all things yellow. I used the same yellow and white stripe outfit as our "going home" outfit with both kids.

Then that is usually followed by an hour of bedtime shenanigans requiring me to go into her room 1354 times to put her back in bed. Then I’m so exhausted I’m ready for bed, so I don’t get to enjoy much evening time to myself. Then she wakes between 4:15 and 5:30. 😬. I miss her 6:00pm bedtime from her first year and a half or so. And she usually slept till 7ish. Amazing.

xolastunicornxo cute! And that reminds me I need to have someone make J a new blanket. My mom had one made for him and it's the only one he'll use but now it's to small. He throws any other blanket off of him..

We do the 7-7:30 bedtime too, because I need some time alone with dh at night. Landon will usually stay up and read or do some legos which is fine. They have to be up by 6:30 for school so it works, and if when they get up on the week bds they just watch their show until we get up.
