Does anyone want/need a carrier? I got a wildbird for X that he and I both hated. I'm certain that's what messed up my shoulder last January. Ring slings are definitely not for me. Me!!! I’ve been hesitating on pulling the trigger for a ring sling!! Do you have any use for a moby?? No, I think I'm good. Thanks for asking. I thought I had gotten rid of my Ergo, but I found that recently, and I have an Infantino as well. Want to PM me your address? I can probably get around to shipping it out early next week.

When I was feeding the baby at 4, there was no snow. Now it's coming down hard and the wind is crazy. T woke me up because he peed the bed. His preschool is open until noon but I'm not sending him. My big plans today involve organizing the linen closest and trying on my clothes. Re-organizing the linen closet is one of my favorite chores in the house. I think it's because everything folds up into a square or rectangle so it's super easy and always looks perfectly neat. The linen closet is one of the first closets I purged and organized last year. It was easy and quick. I wish MH was committed to keeping it organized. I always go in after him and move around everything he stuffs in there.

Thanks everyone. I’m feeling confident he’ll find something quick. He’s pretty motivated. Then that money will be like a bonus!! Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Sorry about the layoff, though, that is always tough. Hopefully you guys will look back on this in a bit and be happy it worked out the way it did, or some such.

B and my H were out in the snow for quite a while; he made snow angels, they shoveled the walk, etc. It's still coming down, though! My H estimated there's at least 8" so far, maybe more.
in the meantime I took C's boot off and let her toddle around without it. She's walking pretty well--a bit less steady on her feet than previously, but putting weight on it, etc. The orthopedist said we could try removing it after a couple weeks. I don't know if I'm willing to leave it off full time but I think she's enjoying the break.

I really need X to start sleeping later.
The 5:45 wake ups are becoming more and more unpleasant.

She was still sleeping this morning at 6:45 when I left for work though which was surprising and amazing. Not sure what time she slept until.

I'm on my way to work. I just left the doctors office. Baby girl has a strong heartbeat. They gave me the number to call to setup my A/S. Yay!

I wish my sinuses would go back to normal. It's driving me crazy. I've gone through an entire box of sinusX and I don't feel a bit better.

Making bedtime earlier, later, naps, no naps, sound machine, two sound machines, no sound machine, I think Charlie's just an early riser, which I'm fine with because it's what I prefer, but I do like 15 minutes to make myself look somewhat presentable.

Morning! Daycare closed at 10 and DH has hid upstairs almost the entire time since then, forcing me to take at least a half day off to watch the boys. I don't care all that much but he made a big thing out of it that he'd watch them. Riiiiight. Things would be so much easier if our offices ever truly closed.
Anyhow he did go out to shovel the walk and Col shoveled the deck at the same time. Chase just watched longingly out the window - he wanted out so badly!!

wedding, that's rough. How would he respond to you talking to him and telling him you're going to need extra help? Especially before your vacation so you can be as healed as possible.

I need to just do that and stop complaining so I poofed my vent. We all know by now he's not a mind reader so I need to just spell out what needs to be done and I know he will do it. He's not an asshole, just short sighted.

I would say I'm like you and do prefer the early to bed and early to rise (though not that early!). I really enjoy putting L to bed at 7 and having a little evening left before I go to sleep. My sister's kids go to bed at like 10 and sleep in until 9:30. I couldn't do that though.

wineallthetime I love the fact that the kids go to bed early and we have the evening to ourselves. I’m a morning person, so like you I don’t mind early wake ups. But in my book early is like 06.30-07.00.

I hate having to ask for help instead of him just assuming that maybe if I've gone out to my car 3 times and come back in with groceries he should also go carry some in..

We are having a staff retreat soon and I'm on a committee planning it. We're trying to come up with a gift for all the staff members. The retreat is at a camp so it's a "camp" and self-care theme. Staff is around 50 people, mostly females but a couple males. Budget is not very large (likely between $5-10 a person). In the past we've done water bottles, Target gift cards and candy, t-shirts, ect. There has been talk about tote bags this year. Any other ideas?

Both kids are usually asleep by seven and it's nice to have some time to veg out with MH's, watch TV, and go to bed before nine. I don't think I'd like to wake up in the 5 o'clock hour, but even if I didn't have an early riser in Charlie, I think I still would so I got a little time with my before he left for work.

It seem like such a silly gift, but sometimes at night I really like it.

I decided to purge the coat closest. It's a Harry Potter room under my steps though so it had a lot of stuff in it. I have 3 bags to donate, 3 for garbage, and 2 to pack away for when the little boys are bigger. C was asleep but started screaming like I have never heard. He was covered in spit up and he never spits up. Now I'm not putting him down for the rest of the day and all the closest stuff is everywhere.
