This gives me hope. My kid had a huge head too, Dr said he wouldn't fit through the birth canal. DD also had (still has) a huge head. Like, her shoulders came out super easy once her head cleared a path. When I asked the doctor how many stitches I had she said she quit counting. 😬 I’m hoping 2 babies means more manageable noggins. Apologies to your lady parts. Let's keep our fingers crossed for babies with smaller noggins the second time around.

I'm off work in less than an hour and MH is picking up Chinese. I can't wait. I'll be eating tiny amounts so I should be able to eat on it for lunch & dinner as well as tomorrow. It's the only thing that sounds good. Chinese food has been amazing lately! We’ve ordered Chinese 3 times this week. Chow mein is all that I can seem to handle, so whatever works. Haha.

I'm nervous about head size. MH has a huge head. Like, he can't even buy a pair of sunglasses from Target because they squeeze too much. It has been huge since he was born.

I'm going to the grocery store soon. I'm excited to get unsiom and B6. 🙌🙌🙌
I need to appear as normal as possible at Christmas since we've decided not to tell even parents until after my appointment. FX I can keep things on the down low another 3ish weeks.

All of my other kids have had perfectly normal sized heads and came out without too much trouble, so hopefully it works out that way for everyone else as well!

We're not planning on telling anyone on Christmas either. We'll be at my IL's house and they offer you wine the minute you walk in when it's a holiday. Should be interesting.

You sound like my mom, and both my sister and I have huge heads, but were born vaginally (not without difficulty...) They thought I had hydroencephaly (fluid rather than a brain) because my head was so large at birth. I'm fine now, and more importantly, my mom is fine, I just can't wear normal hats.

Oh man, yeah, I have nothing against large heads. Just please don't decimate my vagina, baby!

The only benefit of SMIL's boring family is that they don't drink. So that won't be an issue. And once we get to my uncle's house no one would expect me to drink when we'll only be there a few hours and then driving 2ish hours back home. I've decided to ignore requests to do stuff NYE/day because 'just one mimosa' would be hard to subtly turn down.

Just took my first dose of unisom & B6. I could only find 100mg B6 so cutting those into fourths resulted in not totally uniform pieces. Hopefully that's not a huge deal. I usually go to bed at 6:30 but I'm giving myself extra time tonight. My 7.5" memory foam bed wedge came in and I need to start using it. Thanks for all the fun, laryngeopharyngeal reflux. 😠I hope I don't just roll right off it in my sleep. If I had the $$ I would have sprung for one that is the size of the whole bed and goes under the mattress.

It's not quite as long as my king size pillow so the edges of said pillow hang off the sides. 😢

I've managed to get through a couple events without raising suspicion, I just blamed it on a sore throat each time. I'm actually relieved to be able to let our family know on Christmas Eve and not have to continue with acting sick.

goldenbird my b6 aren't all the same either. If I get a bigger one in the morning I go for a smaller one in the afternoon. BUT I don't think it's a big deal. I think* I read somewhere up to 100 mg a day is ok. *I'm not 100% that is correct I hope your wedge thing works out!

I'm a little groggy but otherwise good. Yay for unisom! I laid there for an hour on the wedge and finally took it out from under me. Sleep became more important. I'll try it again tonight.

Yeah I'm assuming so since if you break up the doses you're taking 75mg every 24 hrs. 25 in the morning, 25 in afternoon, 25 at night.

I wasn't flat on my back until 4ish hours after eating so that is good at least.

One of my coworkers said ‘oooo I think I see a baby bump!’ And my response was ‘nope that’s just my fat’

One of my coworkers said ‘oooo I think I see a baby bump!’ And my response was ‘nope that’s just my fat’ Oh god, not looking forward to this with my coworkers. And customers commenting. We have a lot of people who shop at my store pretty much every day. They will notice and have plenty to say, I'm sure. I don't wear my rings at work because I don't want to rough them up. I can't wait for someone to ask me if I'm married. 😒

Maybe my RBF does something for me? although I don’t work with external customers so that’s probably why. You’re in for it!

My endocrinologist wants me to get my blood drawn today. I’m dehydrated because I haven’t kept anything down since breakfast yesterday. I’m trying breakfast now. Fingers crossed.

2 things:
I got a prescription for diclectin! I don’t know what the equivalent would be in the US, but it’s for nausea and has finally made me feel human again! Hallelujah!
Yesterday I did all of the first tri blood work. I’ve had 2 kids both born via c-section, so you think I’d be able to handle it by now. Wrong. So close to passing out, and H had to come rescue me with a juice box. Haha. It was 30 minutes before I could walk to the car. Wimp.

We told both sets of parents yesterday as well as my sister! This finally feels more real now that other people know! Next big thing is my first appointment next week! I feel like I’ll be able to settle into this news even more after that.

My H is finally starting to get excited now that it's been a couple weeks and we have our appointment coming up next week. I think he didn't want to get his hopes up, but he's finally letting himself a little bit. It's making it more real for me too. I'm still only getting random waves of nausea, so hopefully my MS won't be so bad this time around? One can only hope!

I was luckily spared nausea during the first trimester but I am now having such terrible reflux issues. I previously had silent reflux but this is not silent in the least. Zantac is no longer cutting it so I started back on Prilosec this morning. Fingers crossed that it helps because I am miserable at the moment.

I'm nervous because I know reflux is going to kick my ass. It has already impacted me so much just being silent. It sucks.

I did horrible with food today. We ended up at the food court for lunch and I had CFA nuggets and fries and soda. I panicked when I ordered re: soda, which I definitely shouldn't have had. I knew lemonade was out, but soda is still acidic as fuck. I should have just asked for water even though the drink was included. I'm trying not to beat myself up since it was one time. Trying to eat a reflux friendly diet is proving really hard in first tri.
