How's it going for everyone? I think my puke free days are numbered. 😢 I need to put unisom and B6? on my shopping list.

Right there with you goldenbird. Suffering through the days until I can get a prescription from my doctor. My kids have so much energy, and are so excited for Christmas. I feel bad that I’m just making them watch tv all day instead of baking cookies or doing other fun Christmasy things with them.

I'm hoping I only have like 4 or 5 more weeks of nausea left.
Morning sickness is bullshit. 🤦♀️ But honestly if it completely went away I'd worry.
I think my sister might be in labor (her due date is tomorrow).

I'm over not feeling good. Besides the nausea, headaches and congestion, we had the stomach bug that hit our house couple weeks ago and now we all have a cold. I have zero energy and DS has been watching more Peppa Pig than he should.

I’m miserable. I’m also not in the Christmas spirit because of it. However, it does make me feel better that I’m not the only miserable one. Ha, that sounds terrible.
I haven’t puked today so maybe it will be a good day.

What exactly do I buy? The regular unisom and a pill cutter to cut it? And how many mg of B6? I'm clueless.

I hate thinking if what to make to eat for dinner. Everything sounds awful. But if I don't eat that only makes things worse. I want a magic service that makes food to my ever changing whims. 😛😛😛

goldenbird , buy unisom or generic equivalent (doxylamine). get B6- it varies how many mg the tablets will be- possibly 50 mg or 100mg. get a pill cutter- they're only a couple of bucks. cut a 25 mg unisom in half so you have 12.5 mg. take that at bedtime with 25 mg of B6 (depending on the B6 you may need to cut it into halves or quarters). then take 25 mg of B6 when you wake up, and you can take another 25mg again in the afternoon. ETA: here is that info on a handy printable PDF: fertilityandmidwifery.com/pdf/ob-services/pregnancy-nausea-and-vomiting.pdf

Is anyone else already out of breath? Like, simple activities that should not cause me to breathe hard, are. Getting in bed, switching a load of laundry, carrying my 2 year old.
I don't remember this happening with my other 2 until closer to 3rd tri. My DS laying on my chest is making it hard to breathe.
Normal or no?

Thanks ladies. Its been manageable so far but I think it's headed to puke territory. The extra allergies & post nasal drip are giving me that constant nauseated but also hungry feeling. Carbs are the best for me right now. I ate a baked potato last night and I loved every bite. Peanut butter cracker packs also. I can still eat everything else, but I try not to think about it at all.

Usually after carrying DS or taking a couple trips up the stairs. I'm blaming it on my age this time around.

I just have my husband decide on food, and bring me something that might be reasonable - talking about it or thinking about what I might want for sure makes it worse.

You're 5 or 6 weeks now? My nausea ramped up at almost exactly 6 weeks. Bananas have been good for the nausea/puking early in the morning. I'm usually not a big banana eater but I have one almost every day lately.

sorry everyone feels like crap! i still get really nauseous in the evening as the unisom/b6 wears off, but i'm okay during the day, although i can only eat specific foods. i find that protein helps more with nausea than just carbs- cheese sticks are my go-to snack. what foods are you guys finding appealing? maybe if we share we can get some ideas from each other. for some reason i am good with greek salad (iceberg lettuce, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, feta cheese, and red onion with oil and red wine vinegar dressing). also good are mac and cheese, cheese quesadillas (can also tolerate with refried beans added), cold sliced chicken breast sandwiches (i make them with butter, mayonnaise, and salt on whole wheat potato bread), frozen chicken dumplings from costco or trader joe's, chicken flavor cup noodles (they make one now with freeze dried veggies added which is pretty good), whole milk yogurt with honey, toast with butter and jam, bagels with cream cheese, Dole fruit cups, grapefruit (although unfortunately it tends to give me heartburn), and pasta with tomato sauce and parmesan.

Okay, so it's probably normal then? I think I'll still mention it tomorrow, but I'll not worry about it.

I felt this way my entire pregnancy with DS, from like 5w on. I was also constantly overheated and sweating. Never got out of breath when pregnant with DD until the last couple weeks. OB said it was just different hormone levels, different pregnancy, nothing to worry about 😒. So far, so good with this one, which makes me think it'll be girl #2.

Like sitting on the couch I suddenly find myself out of breath. I asked my ob with my son about it and she said it's because our hearts are pumping double the blood volume and it's totally normal.

I pigged out on mcdonalds last night and it was a huge mistake. I felt so ill I couldn't move for like 3 hours afterwards, so bad. And I skipped yoga last night...
My ok foods change on a daily basis which is getting really annoying because I keep buying the foods that are ok then I hate them in a day or two. I think potatoes are the only thing that has been consistently ok.

I also feel out of breath. I knew it was normal, but never knew why. Haha. I am feeling ok right now. Mainly stressed about the holidays. I still have so much to do!

Walking down the hall to the bathroom at work (no stairs!) has me breathing quickly. I don't remember this from the last two until much later. I was convinced I was low on iron but my hemoglobin came back at 12.
