I'm almost to 5 weeks (on Thursday) and I'm scared to see if MS kicks in. I'm feeling super bloated, gassy, and crampy. Super attractive. DH wanted to have sex the other day and that was a big NOPE for me.

I know I'm probably losing it, but I swear I've started feeling little movements. That can't be happening at 12 weeks right? I know they say in 2nd and 3rd babies you feel it sooner but this seems just way too early.
Edit for words

Thanks ladies. Its been manageable so far but I think it's headed to puke territory. The extra allergies & post nasal drip are giving me that constant nauseated but also hungry feeling. Carbs are the best for me right now. I ate a baked potato last night and I loved every bite. Peanut butter cracker packs also. I can still eat everything else, but I try not to think about it at all. You're 5 or 6 weeks now? My nausea ramped up at almost exactly 6 weeks. Bananas have been good for the nausea/puking early in the morning. I'm usually not a big banana eater but I have one almost every day lately. Yeah, 5w5d. Just yesterday it started to feel like this.

foods I am finding appealing are:
salad but i am hungry a few hours later so its not the best. also good are mac and cheese, whole milk yogurt with honey and granola, toast with butter and jam, bagels with cream cheese, pasta with tomato sauce and parmesan. Salmon is a good meat right now. Cheese sticks. Reeses cups. Acorn squash. Also fatty things mcdonalds burgers or other fast food. I can eat a fair amount of things they just don't sound good or satiate me.

I had it with my son and I have it now. Like sitting on the couch I suddenly find myself out of breath. I asked my ob with my son about it and she said it's because our hearts are pumping double the blood volume and it's totally normal. See I knew all that, it's just odd to me that it happened so early. The more you know. Lol Mine didn't start til like end of second tri last time, but it started super early with this one, like 6 weeks? Out of breath doing the stupidest things, like standing up. Plus chest soreness/tightness, dizziness, high pulse rate, generally feeling like shit. I just figured my body hates me haha. catspajamas2, maybe gas bubbles? I felt what I swear was a hand swiping me on the inside the other day but I'm like 9 weeks, and there's barely an arm there yet lol. But it could be! Never know. I wish my toddler had an off button. She has two modes- destroy and punch. It's like living with a velociraptor, I swear. I'm currently letting her eat pork rinds on the floor because I've given up today. So ready for first tri to be over.

kaeguri , I feel you on the toddler front. My 2yo throws a tantrum anytime he doesn't get his way...he also really likes to play dinosaur, complete with sound effects so velociraptor is a good comparison! I have just started to walk away and let DH deal with it. According to his family he was just like that as a child so I figure it's his fault, he can fix it. Plus no energy, and much less patience than normal.

My almost 4 year old DS is in a terrible phase where he will not listen. It's becoming an issue at school. His teachers will ask him to stop doing something and he will laugh and think it's funny to continuing doing whatever he's doing. No amount of talking to him has done any good. I'm over 3.

My doctor’s office is notorious for being behind schedule but I’m getting all the rage over it. My NT was scheduled for 3, it’s now 3:40 and they just took the person in front of me. Gah, trying not to cry/scream. I love my doctor but hate everything about this office.

It'd be more possible for you at 12w than me at 9.5w, but I'd still guess gas. I felt my second at 15 weeks but it wasn't until 16 weeks that I believed it was actually him.

I had the same experience once and turns out the receptionist forgot to tell the nurse I was there. I sat in the waiting room, right in front of her, for 55 minutes.

One of my best friends had her son the day before DD was born and she texted me as I was in labor, “definitely gonfor the epidural,” and I was like, “already 4 hours into it!” I loved that thing.

I loved it with DD. With DS something was wrong and it didn't work. I was able to get up and walk to the bathroom 20 mins after having him. I had horrid back pain for a month after he was born. Idk what the lady did, but it wasn't right. Praying I have a better experience this time.

With DD I had two different anesthesiologists place two epidurals and neither worked. I'm a little terrified it won't work again this time, but I'm still going to try. I want that epidural, dammit!

I had an issue with the first epidural I got with my oldest; the anesthesiologist had to come back to do it a second time because I was still in so much pain (pitocin-induced contractions = holy fucking hell), but luckily my other epidurals have all gone well and made such a huge difference in how my labors felt.

Is anyone else already out of breath? Like, simple activities that should not cause me to breathe hard, are. Getting in bed, switching a load of laundry, carrying my 2 year old. I don't remember this happening with my other 2 until closer to 3rd tri. My DS laying on my chest is making it hard to breathe. Normal or no? I've been feeling this way from early on. Waking up the stairs to my second story classroom has been exhausting. I feel so out of shape:(

Edit for words With my 2nd I started feeling something around 12-13w and when the OB figured out I was 11w4 instead of 8w I'm convinced what I had been telling myself had been gas for a few days was probably movement. I'm definitely feeling occasional stuff now at almost 14w

I'm so afraid of this happening again. With DS I had several epidurals and they didn't really work and kept wearing off after about 30 minutes. I pushed for almost 4 hours and then ended up having a c-section anyways. Hoping to try for a VBAC this time. ETA: punctuation fix

ETA: punctuation fix I also had a c-section with my first (although it wasn't related to the pain, he just had a huge head that wouldn't descend), and everyone kid after has been a VBAC. One of them came too quickly for the epidural, but it's worked great with all the rest.

I'm off work in less than an hour and MH is picking up Chinese. I can't wait. I'll be eating tiny amounts so I should be able to eat on it for lunch & dinner as well as tomorrow. It's the only thing that sounds good.

My sister had her baby last night. He is one of the most gorgeous babies I've ever seen. I can't wait to see him in person and snuggle him.

DD also had (still has) a huge head. Like, her shoulders came out super easy once her head cleared a path. When I asked the doctor how many stitches I had she said she quit counting. 😬 I’m hoping 2 babies means more manageable noggins.
