Cadence woke up wet for the first time since we eliminated pullups, joelies . Unfortunately, she woke up at 5:30. She said mh sent her to my bed, he swears he didn't. Either way, I've been up since 5:30 because her and her cold little feet came to snuggle with me. Why are their hands and feet always soooo cold?!

Kind of sounds like when I used to get complicated migraines. Hope they get some answers soon. Would it make you walk funny though? I mean the vomiting, dizziness, double vision would make sense but he legit has problems walking. They sent me a video of him walking into the ER. It's very odd. The spinal tap fluid was clear. They don't know what's going on. They just gave him some morphine. Vertigo? Did they check his ears?

Then of course the cats wanted in on the cuddle action. I just wanted to sleep!

vino He's fine so far. He had a few poop episodes last night, but it was more like wet farts. It was more like mucousy stuff - weird. No episodes today so far. I've been giving him probiotic packets once a day since Tuesday, hopefully he is back to normal over the weekend. I may call the pedi to see if she wants us to do anything else. Thanks for asking! Sending good vibes, thoughts, and prayers. tgrimes

No idea, but it’s my favourite part of the day! hearing his little feet run across the hall, pushing dd out of the way (she’s usually up way earlier and still nurses in the morning) and him snuggling up to me .

So I was uncoordinated, basically blind in one eye, dropping things, tripping, throwing up, and when I talked I sounded "drunk" because my speech slurred due to the numbness in my tongue. Sometimes this would go on for hours before I ever got a headache. It's really quite scary to experience and see if you don't know what is going on. Poor guy. I really hope that the neurologist can help him, whatever it is that's happened.

He's feeling better after the morphine, but he can't move for an hour after the spinal tap so we're not sure how coordinated he is at the moment. I told my sister what you said though. My BIL has migraines. He found his were attributed to aspartame so he doesn't get them anymore. But morphine never helped his migraines. I keep telling her everyone reacts differently.

melaniesue, you have the right to be annoyed. He was in charge of the olives at that moment. Also, I'm really sorry M is sick. trtlcrzy, I would check eBay, if you're set on keeping the same set. Sorry X is having a hard time, @goldi. I hope the pediatrician can help. So scary, tgrimes, I hope your nephew is OK. Please keep us updated. I don't remember who mentioned H Pylori, but I was tested for it over the summer and it's not a blood test. They need a stool sample for it.

I just got home about an hour ago. We had Josie's Christmas program this morning, then we went out to breakfast with my aunt and cousins. My husband is at Star Wars, and I took the kids to the mall to see Santa. Josie looks lovely in all the pictures, and Charlie is a grumpy disaster. He looks so adorable with his new haircut and his little bowtie shirt, but his face fluctuates from the meanest mug to the most pathetic crying face. Oh, and in the picture we actually chose, he had kicked off his socks and shoes. Super good.

Also, Josie's best friend, Jack, sat next to her during the program. He's a super grumpy kid -- all the time. He refused to take off his winter hat, and he played with it on his head through most of the program. At one point he got it to stick straight up with the pom-pom on the top, and I was lucky enough to get it on video. I can't even pay attention to Josie singing we wish you a merry Christmas, because watching Jack is hysterical. I wish I could share it with you.

trtlcrzy Have you checked replacements.com? I used to get documents from the All. The. Time. for replacements for the china I got when I got married the first time. I think they buy the odds and ends that don't get sold and keep it for instances like you have.

update on my nephew
No meningitis. They're trying to get a hold of a pediatric neurologist at a different hospital because now he can't walk.

So scary tgrimes. When I read your first post (with his symptoms) I immediately thought meningitis, too. I lost a friend in college to it and a former employee of my dad’s just lost his college student-daughter to it (made national news bc of the weird/tragic circumstances). I’m glad they can rule that out but I hope they figure it out quickly. Hate that your sister and her family are dealing with this. Sending prayers.

trtlcrzy definitely try Replacements.com. People sell them old china/flatware/crystal, they buy up overstock, and pieces from estate sales, etc. Both fine China and ‘everyday’ stuff. I have gotten some of my Christmas china through them since it’s been discontinued since I started my collection.

tgrimes that’s so scary! Have they done or do they plan to do an MRI? Chiari Malformation type 1 is something that can come about in late childhood. And seems to have similar symptoms. It’s not super common and gets “missed” and wrote off as other things sometimes. Many people have it and don’t even know it because they aren’t symptomatic. And sometimes the symptoms will come on out of the blue.

ETA I actually know someone with Chiari.
