Yes! I just convinced MH that we should do a family trip to Chicago right after Christmas! I've had the hotel booked but he wasn't convinced. But we've decided to only stay 2 nights instead of 3. We will have to stay with MIL on the trip home.

We went out for dinner before the concert and MH didn't like his salad so he decided we should skip the concert so we could hit up Taco Bell on the way home. Uhhhh, weird but I didn't argue!! Well this is an unexpected turn of events I could have never predicted. Maybe he doesn’t love this symphony, maybe he thinks YOU love it so!? So many questions! How long was this taco Bell stop? I'm not following the logic that a tbell stop means no concert. Was the salad his entree, thus requiring dinner #2? How long was concert supposed to be? What'd you get? Taco Bell needs a gf menu, I miss it. Do they still sell choco tacos?

This is cracking me up, wineallthetime. I had to read it three times to make sure that's what you said. I'm team @tallblonde, I don't know how A + B = C here.

You guys.. I just got home... at midnight. This never happens.
We won or vball game tonight making us champions! (Of the 4 teams, but whatevs, we were the underdog) went out for drinks after and had 2 and closed our tabs.... 2 ladies left and the other 4 of us kept talking and talking and decided to have 1 more. We had so much fun. They are all ladies I’m newly friends with so it was awesome.
I’ll probably regret it in the morning but it was worth it.

I indulged in cinnamon twists. vino, he knows I hate the concert, but I'm starting to think he just likes the tradition of the concert and not the actual concert. We were in a downtown area, so probably not time to drive to t. bell and back, park and get to the concert. However, we were around a ton of restaurants so he could've easily gotten something to eat within walking distance. Easily. The hated salad was, in fact, his entree. Apparently the salad "tasted like water". I should also note that I got a huge salad with salmon, dried cherries, cheese, nuts, ect. He ate half of my salmon and a ton of my salad.

She is a toe walker. She is always up on her tiptoes. She walks, runs, and even stands on tiptoe. She can walk "normal", but you have to remind her every few minutes. She says it is just more comfortable. I think you’re smart to have it looked at now. My cousin (now almost 18) was a toe-walker due to tight/short tendons. There were some extenuating circumstances (my uncle had a terminal illness and passed away, and I just think she was overwhelmed) but she didn’t really pursue therapies for him until he was much older and even now I still see him slip into it every so often. This is so interesting to me because I assumed if the issue was minor enough to learn to walk, that they would naturally outgrow it. One of my best friend's daughters had it so badly that she was almost 18 months old and HATED to stand up and wasn't making any progress towards walking. A few months of PT was enough at that age and now that she's 3, you'd never know she had a problem. I'd hope between C being still very young and it being less severe, that she'll see equally quick progress!
