I did get a couple pics today, but he didn't want to give us a good profile shot. At the repeat a/s a couple weeks ago, we got a couple amazing shots, though! This is my very favorite.

So my fever came back and it's 101 when I just checked. I have a horrible chest cough. I'm not sure if I should call my OB to see what they say to do or if I should just go to urgent care to make sure it's not the flu or something.

katietopaz, I am glad you had a better experience at this U/S. I hope they got everything they need. We still haven't got all of the shots of the heart for this LO. My next growth U/S is 1/2/2018, so we will try again then.

I had a snow day yesterday, DH had a scheduled day off, and DS had a scheduled day at daycare, so DH and I had a date day yesterday. We got a bunch of Christmas shopping done and saw the movie Wonder. It was a nice day. I am excited for next Thursday when Christmas break starts and I get a day to myself while DH is at work and DS is at daycare. I have been up since 4 a.m. my throat was a little scratchy and my nose is running. I am probably coming done with a cold. I am ready for work to be over...only 2 more hours, but I have so much to do still.

How did you like Wonder woodenshoes? I've heard it's really good. I hope you don't end up getting sick. That's how my cold started out on Wednesday. This time of year is no fun.

I’m glad you called. I had similar symptoms and went to my family Dr. She couldn’t give me miracle drugs but she did give me an inhaler and it helped with the coughing and wheezing.
I think the main thing is is that you seen by a medical professional. ❤️

woodenshoes I'm sorry your LO isn't cooperating, either! I hope they get what they need at your growth u/s next month. Apparently our LOs are so snuggled in and curled up, they're hiding their little hearts away!

The nurse called me back and wants me to go to urgent care to get checked for the flu. I went to the closest one to me and they are only taking appointments today not walk ins. So I'm calling around to find one I can get into today. Ugh.

Here is where I admit that I didn't know Urgent Cares did appointments.  Huh.  All of mine have always been walk-in only.

I hope you're able to find one that can take you today!

cp3 I hope you can find a walk in clinic that you can get into and doesn’t have a terribly long wait. I loved the movie Wonder. I definitely got teary eyed several times during the movie. As a school psychologist I love movies like Wonder.

I didn't know either. I found one with a short wait and the receptionist said a lot of them that are affiliated with the hospital here are going to appt only which is annoying.

Flu test is negative which is good. So just lots of rest and fluids. If only my congestion and cough would let me sleep at night. I'm glad we don't have any plans this weekend so I can just relax at home.

I assume it’s normal with chasing a toddler around but I get exhausted very fast now. My stomach isn’t even super big or anything but running up and down stairs and doing basic household stuff is so draining this time around.

I don't really chase DD around but just walking up the stairs makes me out of breath. The next 3 months should be fun.

MH has some friends over playing Cash Flow (a board game that is like monopoly but less fun) and poker. I wrapped some gifts and now I’m watching Parenthood. My body is for sure angry at me for shopping all day and wrapping gifts on the floor which required me to continuously get up and down and change positions. Tomorrow morning is a Donut Party for a friend’s kids’ birthdays. Don’t tell my GD, but I’m going to have a donut.

I’m finally getting over this sickness, so I hope everyone dealing with it gets over it quickly!

That donut party sounds awesome clementine. I had to do all my wrapping standing and using our island because the floor was too uncomfortable and our island is the perfect height for not needing to bend down.

Been a busy day! I had to be at my son's school at 7:30 a.m. for an emergency meeting with his teachers about his grades and graduating this year. *sigh* These past few months have been rough with him. On the upside, I think we have a good game plan in place for him. The downside is I had to bring my 2 and 3 year old to the meeting. Ugh. They were definitely difficult!

Got my hair bleached, toned, and cut today too. Love it! I had to bring my girls with me there too. A 3 hour hair appointment after a 30 minute meeting at the school and it was nothing but meltdowns by the time it was all said and done.

They're in bed now though, I'm watching Elf on tv while eating an ice cream sandwich, and attempting to catch up on here.

mattsgirl2004 baking went well...we got coconut balls, fudge, nut goodie bars, cashew brittle, and chocolate peppermint bark cookies made...and i managed to only try one of the peppermint bark ones because we hadn’t made those before. sorry you had what sounds like an exhausting day. enjoy your ice cream sandwich/movie/quiet time!
