I'm fortunate to have made it this far without really feeling crappy in any way. But yeah this morning I said "welp, I'm ready to be done now" for the first time and that's not pleasant.

DS was so cute. He eyed me over and said "Mama it isn't time. Your belly isn't big enough yet". Thanks kiddo.

calendula I've been having similar issues as well. I could hardly walk yesterday and getting comfortable at night is about impossible. Solidarity mama. Hopefully you can get some relief soon.

cornpop I had a similar dream night before last, except it was a little more "dream-y". In my dream, I went into labor and it wasn't too bad (oh, my poor, naive brain), the doctors let me push standing/squatting (so naive), and baby came out quick, perfect, and in need of no extra monitoring. After the placenta delivered, I took a quick shower, put on my normal clothes, and then held my perfect baby. My brain is in for the biggest disappointment of its life in about 3 months, hahahahahaha.

Net Neutrality is something MrRama is always up in arms about. He's been signing everything for years to get it passed and then keep it from getting repealed. It's going to be a really big freakin' deal if we aren't able to stop Ajit Pai, but I'm also not sure he gives a shit about how people feel. :/

I'm sorry for so many rough nights and weird symptoms, including upsetting dreams. I'll join the restless night club - I can't even remember how many times I was up to pee, and I woke up to roll over a thousand times. It's not even third tri yet, this is silly.

Last night, DH let me know that he may be doing his first international trip with his still relatively new job soon. They're looking at the second week of February. I'm due March 28th. 😐 I feel like it really should be fine, but he'll probably be gone for around a week, and he's going to be literally on the other side of the world. So...we'll see how that goes.

I'm going to need Netflix to come up with a way to send me the food I'm seeing made on The Great British Baking Show. I'm obsessed with this show but this massively sweet-toothed pregnant lady is drooling over everything. I don't know what suet pudding is, I just know I need it right now.

did anyone see that abc pulled the great american baking show because of allegations against the american judge? great british baking show>american baking show, but i’m disappointed. that was one of my thursday night shows i looked forward to - why do they all have to be creeps? i was talking with h about this and i feel like if i were on the show and won i’d be super upset. i haven’t googled, anyone know if they’ve pulled the chew with batali?

So whatever I have has kicked in full gear with fever, chills, and a horrible cough that is settling in my chest. I've taken Tylenol twice today to bring the fever down but the fever is making me nervous. I think I'll go in tomorrow if I still have it.

I've also peed myself three times today and puked from coughing. Pregnancy is so glamorous 😯

hope everyone got some sleep. dd was only up once last night so i count that as a win. i think she’s working on her molars - i don’t know what i’ll use as an excuse when she finally has all of her teeth. we’re going to my grams for the day to make christmas cookies. i’m hoping i’ll have some will power😬.

Thanks guys. I slept horribly last night and had a fever all night that wouldn't break with Tylenol. It almost got to 103 in the middle of the night which freaked me out. I took a shower around 4am and that finally broke my fever and I slept til 7. I feel a bit better but am staying home today to rest and monitor my fever.

I fell asleep on the couch last night and DD came downstairs around midnight crying. I thought at first that she had an accident, until I calmed her down enough to understand why she was crying. She was apparently crying because she missed daddy and came looking for him. I told her he was upstairs sleeping. I send her back to bed and go to the bathroom. When I get in bed, she was in my bed cuddling with DH. It was pretty cute so I let her stay. This morning DH texts me asking why I let her sleep in our bed. According to him, he felt like he was in an MMA fight all night long.

I got a promotion today at work! My department is not very "deep" at all so I wasn't expecting to advance really for a while. This is a really nice surprise, especially this time of year.
