I got in a walk at lunch like I hoped (30 min Soul Walk with Alex). I didn't follow the cues but kept it very easy the entire time. I'm glad I got out before the storms hit in a bit.

20 minute glutes and legs with Rad 3.5 mile run to drop off the kiddo, and then a nearly 5 mile walk, first 1.5 with H and the dog, then we ran in to my neighbor and I went out on a hike with her. Done for today except maybe a stretch!

10 min core with Selena 10 min upper body with Callie 20 min upper body with Rad
I will likely not be able to lift my arms tomorrow but it all felt pretty good.

I just signed up for the Santa Monica 10k in September if anyone wants to do a beach race in sunny SoCal!

Also hi, I’m here, chugging along. Life is hectic but I’m getting the work in for the most part. I’ve been doing a bit more strength training and I’m happy about that.

My April saw better step counts and better water intake but still lots of struggles in the food department.
May has been decent so far- sleep/food still an issue but I signed up for a family gym membership to use while the boys have swim practice.

4 miles with the trail group last night, followed by a short gym session with mh, then a sort of raccoon dinner for me. I had grilled some lilie eats and tells (I cannot think of the right acronym for that- I feel like it's been llet? anyway) apple cider dijon chicken on Sunday, so I heated a few strips up in the air fryer, chopped them up, put it on a big bed of spinach, salsa, and tortilla chips like a bunch of weird nachos. It hit the spot. Did my mile early this morning, now I'm enjoying my daily oatmeal. Lunch will be a turkey sandwich (b/c catered meeting), dinner tbd. Probably ramen with mushrooms and fried eggs or big salads with rest of the grilled chicken.

I fit in just over a mile yesterday because A left her cleats of all items at home. So I had to sprint up this huge ass hill at the end so I could jump in the car and get the damn shoes. Which was a good thing since A's team took home the W last night! The underdogs came thru and beat the crap out of the #1 team. 9-1. It was well deserved and they played so hard!
I am also off my ledge from yesterdays doctors appt. She is more concerned about the swollen nodes in the pits than i was. She put me on a zpac for the sinsus infection and man, it has helped. My chest xray is clear, blood work completed and next week is an ultrasound of my chest/armpits. fx those are clear as well. I am convinced they will be. everything is fine. i'm fine. it will be fine.

A's softball team somehow completely kicked the #1 seeded teams butt last night. So we play again tonight for the championship. I see another walk in my future. That's amazing!!

Hello.
I never checked in yesterday. It was a whirlwind day and it just took all of me to muscle through. I forgot I had turned off my early alarm during the puking the night before so I did not get up to workout, which stunk because it was literally my only chance. Immediately after school I had to whip DD2 into full dance costume, hair, and make up and drive the 25 minutes with all three in tow to the college they host their recital at. We were there until after 6pm for stage rehearsal then it was home, wash pounds of stuff out of hair, dinner and bed. I did a 5 minute core with Callie and a 30 minute yoga with Aditi. That was it for the day.
This morning the loudest freaking thunderstorm woke me up at 3am. Woke DS too who came tearing into our room and barnacled onto me. I figured I'd just stay up at that point, so I read until a few minutes to 4am when I got up to get ready to workout.
30 minute interval run with JTR 20 minute pop punk run with Camila 10 minute arms and shoulders with Matty 5 minute core with Olivia 5 minute stretch with Camila
Yoga tonight.
I've barely eaten the last couple of days. I've had zero appetite and I've been picking at a mix of healthy and unhealthy choices. I still feel similarly today, but I will go peruse the staff luncheon the PTA is hosting for us today anyways.
And knock on all the wood, no one else has gotten sick.

It’s gorgeous here today as well jaidit. And we go back to cold and rainy tomorrow 😭 I’m enjoying my rest day with DS who is home sick. I think he’s feeling better. He asked for a bike ride around the neighborhood.

It’s so beautiful here today so I took a 6-mile bike ride and inhaled 10 tons of pollen and possibly some bugs. I rode the route of the missed 5K (and a bit more getting there and back!) per suggestion upthread— thanks!

Taking it easy today because I ended up with almost 24k steps yesterday. 30 minute Disney yoga (so fun), a slow walk around the block with the dog, and another short walked planned with DS after school.

I've been keeping up with the HCOF stack since last Tuesday, feeling good about that. Gosh I really need to work on my upper body strength!
Pairing the strength stacks with 20 or 30 minute rides every day, I really haven't felt like running.
It's lovely here today.

I opted to skip run club tonight after being up most of the night with a sick kiddo. I got “homework” from the coach so I’ll do it tomorrow or Friday.
Monday was hills/HR training, and at some point this weekend I’ll do a long run.

I knocked out my 30 min Back & Biceps with RK this morning with a 5 min Apple Fitness Mindful Meditation after. At lunchtime, I did W9/D1 of N2R for 2.2 miles with a 5 min Post-Run Stretch with JS and 5 min Apple Fitness Core after.
My 600th Strength is coming up so I am going to try to make Rad's 20 min Bodyweight Strength at 7:30am EST tomorrow so I can add on RK's Legs & Shoulders after. I set my alarm but let's see if I heed it.

Hello.
DS was up again a lot last night. Ugh, I'm so sick of not sleeping.
I did a bit of working out after school.
20 minute low impact ride with Ben Extra 10 club ride with Camila 5 minute core with Emma
Yoga tonight. I got a PR on the 10 minute ride, so that was nice. God willing I'll get sleep tonight and get up to run tomorrow.

Ds was fever free yesterday but really struggled getting up and around this morning for school. I love sleeping in but man am I glad he is a morning kid almost all of the time
Anyway I had a lot to do today, and I was dragging too. So I napped and “lowered the bar” for myself. instead of my threshold run (or alternatively doing nothing) I hopped on the treadmill while dinner was in the oven for 30ish minutes with intervals.
Also I’m less than 1 month out from my first race this season! 😳
