I wish I'd taken today off. After being away and then a busy and fun weekend everything is off schedule and out of sorts. But we did have a great spring break. Is yours over or just starting ?

First day back after a weeks’ PTO and a holiday yesterday is much rougher than I anticipated, though leftover desserts for breakfast was a nice treat.
Thankfully the kids have today off so I didn’t have to fight that battle this morning.

We just had ours. Took a short trip to see family (DC) at the beginning, then some lazy days, then a nice Easter with family. MH was sick on Easter and missed out on everything, but it was better than last year when he got sick on spring break and we had to share a hotel room and then a car home with him. 🙅♀️ He only gets sick about twice a year but likes to do it dramatically.

We are just starting Spring Break. Unfortunately the weather looks crappy until Friday. Today, I want to put away the dishes and stuff from hosting Easter. Need to find the motivation though because I am tired and my legs ache.

The kids have today off as their last day of a 5-day weekend. DH is home with them. I wish I was too. DS exhausted me yesterday.

We are just starting our spring break. We made a 15 hour drive and arrived yesterday afternoon. I love my children with all my heart, but why do they talk so much? And to me, specifically? Ask your dad something for once!

We have two more weeks until Spring break, which is just as well since we're expecting another winter storm this week. I can't take another snow/power outage day. 😭

We had plans all day Saturday with 2 parties and then another Easter yesterday so I’m exhausted and my house is not as clean as I like it to be. But we had so much fun.
Dd doesn’t go back until Thursday and then is off again next Monday for the eclipse so she is enjoying sleeping in today and I’m jealous.

Hi! We hosted our families yesterday. We’re off for spring break this week. We are having a lazy pajama day so far. DD and H are working on a puzzle and my boys are being couch potatoes. The weather is gross and will be all week, unfortunately. I need to clean up and put my house back together but I don’t wanna.

The kids have another week of school before spring break, but it should be a pretty easy week. I feel a bit disconnected from work since I have been traveling so much, but it's FOR work so it's weird to feel like I've been away but...not?
Tomorrow is DS2's 10th birthday and he's super pumped about it, but we haven't really prepped anything for him because in years past he has been very "don't look at me!" on his birthday. So DH and I are scrambling today while he's at school.

Last day of Spring break here, spending by the pool before flying home tonight. It was really nice to have warmth and see green foliage/flowers. Not looking forward to gray and cold temps but do want a good nights sleep in my own bed.

This is a silly thing but it bothers me that only fitted sgeets take mattress depth into account. We have a thick memory foam mattress and the sheets and duvet never totally cover it. I need like.....extra wide Cal King bedding. Or something.

My birthday is next week, and hers was in February. We went to Blue Hill at Stone Barns- we did not do the ultra expensive fancy dinner, but the scaled down version. It was everything I wanted it to be- specifically I cannot stop thinking about the fluke taco and when I could possibly make an excuse to go back again. |

We're on spring break this week as well, mostly rain this week but we don't go anywhere anyway. Normally they would go back Monday but we have the eclipse and schools are closed.
Next week SO is coming to town for a few days and I'm nervous AF about that.

We didn’t have out of the house plans today so the girls and I deep cleaned the upstairs. There was surprisingly little complaining on their parts…I may have had the worst attitude of the day.
But we got to use the slushy cups Easter bunny brought and we may not drink a non slushed beverage all summer.

Also MH was talking with some other dads who are starting a softball team this fall and they tried to use chat gpt for a name and it suggested Thunder Angels. I laughed so hard and I couldn’t even tell the girls why because DD1 doesn’t know we aren’t staying with her current team yet.
