We met with my 6YO's teacher and I don't know if I effectively stopped myself from rolling my eyes when she said he is so flexible. He is decidedly so not flexible at home.

We have a virtual office happy hour at 2PM today (yes, it's very early) and I'm probably going to need a nap after.

Sometimes on work from home days I don't have time to shower before running the kids to school, and then I sit down at my computer as soon as I get home and end up not showering until after I work out in the evening.

I had a sex dream last night. It was with my arch nemesis from grade school. Where the heck this came from is beyond me.
But I had to tell my best friend this morning because she was the only person who would understand the ugh of this dream. And her first response was "I almost barfed"

I am trying to get my husband to come visit me at work because I have some major gossip to share with him but I don't feel like typing it all out and I want to see his reaction in person.

You should type it all out anyway to share with us. I actually thought about it but it is too complicated unless you actually know the players.

My kids' old daycare posted a picture from 1923 of a group of preschool-aged kids sitting around learning to knit. My 6YO can't tie his shoes and I don't know if my 3YO can even use a glue stick.

I never shower before dropping the kids off. I could get up earlier to do it but I don't want to.

Sometimes I decline to drive carpool because I like the one on one time with my teen.

I asked my H to read the sex scenes in some books to improve his dirty talking.
It helped.. more than Iād like to admit.

I shower after I workout. Depending on the day, I donāt always workout in the morning. I wouldnāt think twice about not showering before work now that I WFH. As long as you arenāt unkempt, who cares?

I just read an article this morning about how millennial parents are raising generation alpha to be "feral", so this fits. (My almost 10 year old can't tie his shoes or ride a bike.)

Kids get self confidence from learning how to do hard things.
I think a lot of parents in my generation have forgotten this.

Haha, I told people those kids were probably wearing clothes they sewed themselves.

They donāt teach driverās education at school anymore?
Iām focusing on learning to swim and ride a bike for my two younger kids.
My 12 year old runs around in untied shoes but insists that they know how to tie them. Just chooses not to.
